Pokimane Explains Why She Chose to Live By Herself Instead of Moving Back to the OfflineTV House

0

Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has recently revealed her plans of not moving back to the OfflineTV house and choosing to live alone instead, and the community is certainly surprised by her decision.

“I found an apartment and I signed the lease,” Pokimane said to fellow streamer Mizkif during a livestream.

When Mizkif asked who was Poki gonna live with, she replied that she was gonna live alone.

“You’re insane,” Mizkif said to her. “You’re gonna get so bored so fast.”

“I thought so too… but there’s just too many people in LA,” said Pokimane.

“I have been leaving my room too much. I’m tired of it. I’m tired of going out. I want to stay inside. I want to play Valorant for 12 hours, and I want nobody to bother me.”

Pokimane also confirmed that she signed a six-month lease for the apartment. She further claimed that she’s doing a “six-month test” and if she hated living alone, she’d never do it again.

“The lease is six months. So, I’m doing a six-month test [to see] how I like living alone. And If I hate it, then I’ll never do it again.”

While the chances of her moving back to the OfflineTV house in the near future are slim, the 26-year-old might re-evaluate her decision after six months if Mizkif’s prediction of her getting bored turns out to be true.

Sinatraa Breaks Down Into Tears After Fans Flame Him During Livestream

Following a long hiatus from streaming which was likely due to the ongoing investigation into his alleged sexual abuse towards ex-girlfriend Cleo ‘cle0h’ Hernandez, Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won has recently returned to streaming Valorant on Twitch.

During his livestream on June 1st, Sinatraa invited former teammate and renowned Valorant pro Shahzeb ‘ShahZaM’ Khan to a ranked game. However, it seems like ShahZaM’s fan base wasn’t too happy with his decision to join Sinatraa.

In only a few rounds, ShahZaM’s chat exploded with hate comments against Sinatraa. The criticism continued to increase and ultimately resulted in Sinatraa bursting into tears.

Sinatra Cries During Live Stream:

Throughout the course of the game, Sinatraa was visibly upset while reading his chat and turned off his webcam several times. At the start of the 18th round of the game, we could see 21-year-old breaking down into tears before saying, “it’s so dumb,” and switching off his webcam once again.

“I just wish people knew man,” Sinatraa said, a couple of minutes after turning his webcam on. “It’s so sad. It’s just so sad. F**k my life.”

ShahZaM, on the other hand, kept being questioned by his viewers for playing alongside Sinatraa.

“I just got invited to play and I played,” he said to his viewers. “It was honestly a mistake, I put myself in a really sh***y situation. I’m sorry. I didn’t think it would turn into this.”

“Don’t think that I’m taking a stance or a statement or some bulls**t. I do not support rape.”

Valorant Mobile announced by Riot Games

Riot Games has reportedly confirmed its plans to expand VALORANT to other platforms. A report by DOT Esports state that the developers have assured its entry into mobile gaming with yet another new title. Valorant Mobile was rumored to be under development and apparently, Riot Games have concreted these speculations.

Valorant was the first tactical shooter game announced by Riot Games on the occasion of their 10th Anniversary. Riot announced multiple titles in this announcement and Valorant was one of them. The closed beta was released very soon and its popularity skyrocketed on streaming platforms like Twitch.

Streamers were allowed to provide limited access to the testing phase and this led to a huge rise in their viewership at an early stage. After the global release, its competitive scene began to grow, and within a year Riot Games managed to host their first-ever international LAN tournament for Valorant in Iceland.

Riot Games seems to be capitalizing on this success and plans to tap into the potential of the mobile gaming industry. As per the reports, the developers have confirmed their plans to expand Valorant in the mobile gaming market.

Anna Donlon, Executive producer for Valorant reportedly stated the following:

One of our top goals this first year was to earn the trust and respect of the global FPS community and to prove to them that VALORANT will always uphold the fundamentals of a truly worthwhile competitive tac-shooter. To see our growing player community recognize and appreciate what we’re trying to do with VALORANT is beyond what we could’ve expected and we’re thrilled to soon offer the same competitive VALORANT experience to even more global players.

This confirmation is an exciting announcement for Valorant fans as well as mobile gamers. The release date or timeline for Valorant Mobile has not been revealed but the official announcement is expected to come in near future.

T1 Valorant Roster To Undergo Changes

0

T1 was one of the first organizations to enter Valorant and sign professional players even before the game was officially released. Ever since its arrival, the organization has had its fair share of problems. The lineup has had several changes over the period with minimal stability. According to a report by Upcomer, T1’s lineup is likely to replace one or two players.

Sam “DaZeD” Marine is set to depart after joining the team in October 2020. Alongside the in-game leader, the sources further suggest that Ha “Spyder” Jung-woo might as well depart the roster. The 22-year-old former Overwatch player had joined the Korean organization a couple of days after DaZeD’s arrival.

Following the conclusion of the Valorant Championship Tour: Masters 2 – Reykjavik, several teams are likely to overhaul their rosters to attain better results in the upcoming season. At present, it is not known whether T1 has been in contact with other professional players or not.

In February earlier this year, the inceptive duo of Braxton “brax” Pierce and Keven “AZK” Larivière also departed the roster while the former joined TSM in the next month. They had signed with the organization even before the game had officially been released. T1 has had a string of disappointing results for quite some time.

T1 secured a 7th-8th position in VCT 2021 NA Stage 2 Challengers 2 and couldn’t qualify for the NA Stage 2 Challengers Finals – the qualifying event for Stage 2 Reykjavik Masters. Even in Stage 1, T1 has had ordinary results. If the report is to be believed, active lineup of T1 will be down to three:

  • Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham
  • Timothy “autimatic” Ta
  • Rahul “curry” Nemani
