Riot Games announce Wild Rift Horizon Cup

Riot Games have announced their first-ever international event for League of Legends: Wild Rift. This massive tournament is called Wild Rift Horizon Cup and will take place in Singapore in November.

League of Legends: Wild Rift is the portable version of League of Legends and the developers are trying to set up a sustainable esports ecosystem equivalent to their flagship title. Wild Rift is immensely famous in the SEA region and has gained good traction around the world.

Riot Games is currently hosting multiple regional tournaments over the world and ten teams ranking top in these tournaments will be invited to Singapore to participate in the Wild Rift Horizon Cup.

The Wild Rift Horizon Cup will be hosted at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13th to 21st November. Riot Games will be working with Singapore Tourism Board to host this event in the country.

Teams from multiple regions like China, SEA, Korea, NA, EU, Japan, LATAM, and Brazil will be participating in the Horizon Cup. China and the SEA region will have two seeds each and the rest of these regions will send one representative each.

This will be the first international Riot Games event for LOL: Wild Rift which is hosted in a LAN ecosystem. The rest of the details for this tournament are not revealed yet.
