halo infinite technical preview

Halo: Infinite’s first public testing has begun and will be up and running throughout the weekend. In an effort to provide a smoother experience on launch, players who are registered in the Halo Insiders program will be given access to Halo Infinite’s pre-alpha development build to make changes in the final version of the game based on player feedback.

How to download Halo Infinite Insider preview?

  • Click here and sign in using your Microsoft/Xbox account.
  • Click on the Halo Insider option under your username and fill up the questionnaire, and select your preferred platform (PC or Xbox).
    • Players will also have to verify their email, opt into communications and upload their DxDiag file (PC users only.)

While invites have already been sent out for Halo Infinite’s July flight, 343 Industries expects to invite more people over time for the next testing phase. You’ll receive an email along with instructions on how to access the early build if you’re selected.

The build is an earlier version and does not represent the final product, so expect things to be a bit janky.

Halo Infinite is set to launch later this year on PC (Steam, Windows Store) and Xbox.
