Valorant Mobile Release Date: When Is It Coming?

0

Riot Games has reportedly confirmed its plans to expand VALORANT to other platforms. A report by DOT Esports state that the developers have assured its entry into mobile gaming with yet another new title. Valorant Mobile was rumored to be under development and apparently, Riot Games have concreted these speculations.

Valorant was the first tactical shooter game announced by Riot Games on the occasion of their 10th Anniversary. Riot announced multiple titles in this announcement and Valorant was one of them. The closed beta was released very soon and its popularity skyrocketed on streaming platforms like Twitch.

Streamers were allowed to provide limited access to the testing phase and this led to a huge rise in their viewership at an early stage. After the global release, its competitive scene began to grow, and within a year Riot Games managed to host their first-ever international LAN tournament for Valorant in Iceland.

Riot Games seems to be capitalizing on this success and plans to tap into the potential of the mobile gaming industry. As per the reports, the developers have confirmed their plans to expand Valorant in the mobile gaming market.

Anna Donlon, Executive producer for Valorant reportedly stated the following:

ONE OF OUR TOP GOALS THIS FIRST YEAR WAS TO EARN THE TRUST AND RESPECT OF THE GLOBAL FPS COMMUNITY AND TO PROVE TO THEM THAT VALORANT WILL ALWAYS UPHOLD THE FUNDAMENTALS OF A TRULY WORTHWHILE COMPETITIVE TAC-SHOOTER. TO SEE OUR GROWING PLAYER COMMUNITY RECOGNIZE AND APPRECIATE WHAT WE’RE TRYING TO DO WITH VALORANT IS BEYOND WHAT WE COULD’VE EXPECTED AND WE’RE THRILLED TO SOON OFFER THE SAME COMPETITIVE VALORANT EXPERIENCE TO EVEN MORE GLOBAL PLAYERS.

Valorant Mobile Release Date:

This confirmation is an exciting announcement for Valorant fans as well as mobile gamers. The release date or timeline for Valorant Mobile has not been revealed but the official announcement is expected to come in near future.

Valorant Night Market Returns Today

The fan favourite Night Market returns to Valorant today, the news came as a part of the Valorant YR1 events announcement.

Night market enables players to pick up skins at a discounted rate. 6 skins will be available to choose from, which includes skins for all weapons including knives. The “Give Back” bundle will let fans bring back skins from the past via a voting system, where the proceeds will be handed over to charity.

While the Night Market is basically a shot in the dark, Riot has promised to optimize it in a way it remains fairly random while catering to everyone’s need.

Skins in VALORANT have been commended for their inventive fine art and players all titles regard the exertion and detail put into VALORANT skins and for this exact reason, any update related to skins will be something on the better side.

Notwithstanding the Night Market, the players will decide on a progression of preselected skins to go in the bundle via voting.

The profits will partly go to a noble cause and could include well known skins like the Prime 2.0 Phantom, Reaver Vandal, and Ion Operator. Regardless, you’ll have the option to get a strong skin for as little as possible to praise one year of VALORANT.

DOOM Eternal gets Ray Tracing and DLSS Support

0

NVIDIA has added support for its RTX technology in over 100+ games so far, including Red Dead Redemption 2 & Rainbow Six: Siege recently, however, these two titles weren’t the only addition to the RTX’s list of games as NVIDIA  showed off a bit of DOOM Eternal during their Computex presentation. The game was running on their newest flagship GPU, the RTX 3080Ti with Ray Tracing enabled on 4K.

The 4-minute gameplay shows off how visually impressive the game looks thanks to its realistic reflections and lighting while it also manages to retain playable fps at a demanding resolution (4K). This isn’t surprising considering that id Tech 7 which powers DOOM Eternal is perhaps one of the most optimized engines out there and can manage running on resolutions upto 8K while staying at a constant 60 fps thanks to its Vulkan API.

DOOM Eternal’s ray-tracing update isn’t exactly a surprise as it was announced back in 2019 during an interview with Giant Bomb.

However, id Tech’s Marty Stratton stated that the visual update isn’t their topmost  “priority” but “people can look forward to DOOM Eternal and id Tech 7 supporting ray tracing.” It’s good to see that the update is finally moving forward now that DOOM Eternal’s expansions, The Ancient Gods Part 1 & 2 are out too.

The game will also support NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) upscaling technology which utilizes AI to improve performance without loss in image quality.

There’s no definitive release date for the update, but we can expect it soon, and given the recent announcement, it might release just alongside the RTX 3080Ti & 3070Ti.
