Will you get banned for using GFX tool in BGMI?

Battlegrounds Mobile India is a popular mobile game that took the spot of PUBG Mobile in India.

A large player base from India used to rely on PUBG Mobile Lite due to its lower specification requirement but after BGMI was banned, a lite version of this game was never released. Players can still get a better FPS by using GFX Tool but there is a big paranoia around using it.

Players are always worried that if they use GFX tool, they will get banned instantly on the game. It should be noted that Krafton has not directly banned GFX tool in India but there are some things that deem it illegal to use.

BGMI has a graphic intensive game and requires a good device to play the game smoothly. There are many players that do not have such high-end devices and the game is laggy in experience for them.

Players that have a better device will always have a better FPS in-game and hence, have an obvious upper hand. To negate this difference, many players use GFX tool to reduce the in-game graphics but improve the FPS performance significantly.

There is a small catch as Krafton Inc. does not allow the use of any other third-party app that tampers game files and players IDs or devices can instantly be banned. Because of this reason, players should avoid using GFX tool while playing BGMI.

Which Rank Plays CSGO The Most in 2022?

CSGO Matchmaking is the first step to getting better for most players. Being the Premier First Person Shooter, with a not so hard learning curve, CSGO has had a high number of players consistently playing the game.

As per steamcharts, the game averages close to 650k players in the last 2 months, with a peak of over 990k players – no mean feat for a game that is going to be 10 years old this August.

Most players turn to CSGO MM or competitive matchmaking to get better and rank up in the game. Having a good rank is a matter of pride for every new player, and the grind for it makes it all worthwhile.

Of course ranks play a big part in CSGO, but which rank plays the most competitive CSGO Matchmaking in 2022? Leetify has the answer.

According to the stats provided by Leetify, Silver Elite Master or SEM ranked players play the most competitive ranked games in CSGO, averaging 16.2 games each month. It is closely followed by Gold Nova 1 and Gold Nova 2 ranks with both playing 16.1 games each month.

The trend moves upwards as we go from Silver 1 to Silver Elite Master but the trajectory moves consistently downwards once we cross the SEM rank mark.

As players tend to rank up more and more – moving to Master Guardian, then Legendary Eagle and so on, they play fewer and fewer games.

Your average Global Elite – the highest rank in CSGO plays 6.8 competitive matches. The answer as to why high ranking players don’t play matchmaking a lot is quite simple.

After getting to a high enough rank, the skill gap is very small and so is the high ranking player base, and it also gives a sense of achievement once you get to the high ranks.

Players also tend to move away from regular CSGO MM and turn to third party services such as Faceit, ESEA, GamersClub and 5E Arena etc. to play with other high ranked players. This is mainly due to the influx of cheaters in MM as well as 10 year old 64-tick servers which can be bothersome.

Third party services have better Anti cheats, 128 tick servers and a large player base as well making it even more enjoyable to play than regular matchmaking.

Despite the trend going downwards in the number of games played, the number of hours players spend in CSGO is almost the same throughout. Gold Nova Masters play the game the most, averaging 62.7 hours per month, followed by Master Guardian 2 and then Master Guardian 1.

Global Elites and Supreme Master First Class players average 58 hours as well, but this is mainly for warm up routines such as FFA DMs, aim_botz and playing Competitive games on third party services like Faceit.

Faceit consistently updates their system to make it a better experience for all players, unlike matchmaking which gets very few updates gameplay-wise, hence more players tend to turn to Faceit and ESEA to have a better shot at improving and playing against legitimate players and not cheaters.

Valorant 4.05 PBE Patch Notes Revealed: Voice Chat Toxicity Detection, Crosshair Customization and More

Valorant Public Beta Environment servers, also known as the PBE servers, are where updates are introduced for testing ahead of their final release in the live servers.

Players tuning in to the PBE can often get a sneak peek at the patches that are later introduced to the official servers in Valorant.

If you haven’t got the chance to get access to the PBE servers yet, you’re probably missing out on a lot, as the 4.05 PBE patch notes revealed by the developers introduce a lot of new changes to the competitive shooter.

These changes aim to reduce the amount of toxicity in the Valorant voice chat by recording in-game voice comms alongside enabling players to further customize their crosshair by importing and exporting auto-generated codes.

ESL Pro League S15 – G2 Start Off Group A With Win over LFO

The 15th season of ESL Pro League kicked off today in Dusseldorf, Germany with Group A. ESL Pro League returns to LAN for the first time in 4 seasons, having switched to online in March 2020 in Season 11 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since then we have had 4 different winners as well with fnatic taking S11, Astralis winning S12, Heroic stomping Gambit with a stunning cadiaN clutch in S13, and NaVi dominating Season 14 of EPL.

Season 15 started with Group A teams G2 and LookingForOrg locking horns. G2 had to play with stand-in amaNEK as IGL Aleksib couldn’t travel after contracting COVID-19. They took on the Aussies, who are ranked #94 and are still without an organization, hence the name. Coming into the game as heavy underdogs, there was little LFO could do – unable to cash in on the fact that G2 were missing their leader.

G2 battered the boys from down under on their own map pick of Dust2, cruising through with a 16-5 scoreline. huNter-, m0NESY, and NiKo had 23, 24, and 21 frags respectively to make it easy for G2.

G2’s pick of Inferno was closer than expected, despite them having a strong T side with 9 rounds. Super-sub amaNEK outfragged everyone with 16 kills on the T side, showing he could do it all – IGL, AWP, support, and even become a coach if need be, as we saw at IEM Katowice when XTQZZZ contracted COVID-19.

LFO’s T side wasn’t a pushover though as they took the lead at one point, going up 10-9. It was close until the end of the half where G2 took control and comfortably closed out the map 16-12 as amaNEK put on a masterful 26-11 K/D with a 1.55 rating.

G2 go 1-0 up in Group A while LFO are down 0-1.

MeitY approval required for India’s participation at Asian Games 2022 esports events

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and Sports Ministry will decide the fate of Indian esports athletes preparing to compete in PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor at the upcoming Asian Games 2022. The preliminary qualifiers for other events are reportedly starting around 15th March.

Asian Games 2022 will be a historic event for the esports industry. The esports segment is introduced alongside traditional sports for the first time and a total of eight titles are added as medal events. This prestigious event will take place in Hangzhou, China in September 2022.

According to a report by New Indian Express, MeitY and Sports ministry will decide if Indian athletes can participate in two games namely PUBG Mobile (Asian Games version) and Arena of Valor (Asian Games version) or not. This is due to the fact that both of these mobile titles were initially banned by MeitY under Section A of the IT Act in 2020.

PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor were banned in India in 2020 as they posed a threat to user data privacy. The popular battle royale made a comeback in the form of Battlegrounds Mobile India and is a thriving esports title in India.

The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) seeks Indian Govt.’s clarity before hosting the preliminary qualifiers for PUBGM or Arena of Valor. The preliminary qualifier round of the rest will start around 15th March.

ESFI planned to start the preliminary rounds by 10th March but they were postponed by a few days. The qualifiers will work in two phases with the first one being completely online and there are chances of second stage being hosted in an offline format.

Around eight to sixteen teams or individuals will be selected for the grand finals of each event. The best team/individual in each game will represent India at the Asian Games 2022. ESFI will also prepare a substitute team in case of urgency.

A total of 20 players will be travelling to Hangzhou, China to represent India at the first ever recognized esports medal event in the world.

Global Esports choose Singapore to Compete at VCT APAC; VLT to base at Chennai

Global Esports is headed to Singapore to compete in Valorant Champions Tour: Asia Pacific Challengers 1. After qualifying via the Valorant Conquerors Championship, the team is looking to earn a slot at Valorant Masters One.

The team needs a top-two finish at VCT APAC but it will have to get past some of the best teams in the region including India’s Velocity Gaming.

Velocity Gaming will compete from India

VCC champions Velocity Gaming will compete from Chennai. The team has earned a direct slot in the group stages after their victory at VCC last month.

Global Esports on the other hand will have to pass the trial of the play-ins to enter the group stage.

Global Esports is the only Indian team to have competed in a VCT international LAN event. The team made its way to the APAC Last Chance Qualifier this year, but it could not earn a slot in Valorant Champions after being knocked out.

With a new competitive season underway, Global Esports and Velocity Gaming will be looking to make India proud at the event.

The event will start on 10th March 2022 and conclude on 27th March 2022. Global Esports will participate in the play-ins that will take place on 10th and 11th March. Velocity Gaming will participate in the group stage directly but the matchups will be decided only after the play-ins end.

With $150,000 in prize money on the line along with the opportunity to be on the international stage at VCT Masters One, both Indian teams will be looking to win the event. Vera Esports is the official broadcasting partner for the event and fans can check out the matches live here.

WWE may consider a deal with EA for its future games

While WWE 2K22 is going to be released on 11th March 2022, the future of this franchise may take a turn. According to a report by Fightful, WWE is talking to EA for developing the future WWE games with Electronic Arts. Therefore, the correlation between WWE and the 2K Games may come to an end.

WWE 2K is basically a wrestling video game developed by 2K Games. The game was developed by THQ till 2012 while the name was WWE Smackdown and 2K took the scourge from 2013 and renamed it to WWE 2K. This game is the most popular WWE game and is available on almost every platform.

Multiple sources have stated that WWE has had preliminary discussions with EA about bringing the WWE games line over to one of the top gaming publishers in the world

Fightful Report

Are you wondering why WWE is suddenly trying to hand over the AAA franchise to EA? Apparently, the reason is the immense negative reviews of WWE 2K20. As a result, the WWE brand image got damaged and a record low sale battered the revenue stream.

The latest successor of the WWE 2K series will be released just after a few days and the fate of the reciprocity between WWE and 2K will depend on the reviews, ratings, and sales of WWE 2K22.
