- Ability Draft Game Mode
- Warden
- New Ranked Rewards
- Agent Mastery Overhaul
Excited to see what Riot Games has in store for you with Valorant 13.06? We’ve got you covered.
New Ability Draft Game Mode
Riot Games has confirmed a brand-new game mode coming to Valorant with its next patch.
This game mode, somewhat reminiscent of Ability Draft from Dota 2, lets players create their own Frankenstein hero by mixing up abilities from the various characters in the game.
Once you’ve made your ability picks, you’ll be pitted against 7 other teams of two, and will have to fight it out in a tournament-style round robin system until only one team remains.
Needless to say, this game mode will offer players endless possibilities to explore with the mixing and matching of Agent abilities.
The official name of this game mode has not been revealed at the time of writing, but it will be shipped to the game with Valorant 13.06.
New Warden Weapon
In accordance with the leaks we had reported on yesterday, Riot Games has confirmed a new weapon coming to Valorant with its next patch.
Apart from what we talked about in our last article, not much else has been revealed regarding this gun. As per the devs, it’s set to be a competitor to the Vandal and the Phantom in the 2900 Credits department and will work as a middle ground between the Operator and the regular rifles.
Here are the leaked stats of Warden in Valorant:
- Cost: 2900 credits
- Magazine size: 18 rounds (90 reserve ammo)
- Fire rate: 6.55 rounds per second
- Reload time: 2.5 seconds
- Wall penetration: Medium
- Scope: 2x zoom
New Ranked Rewards
After numerous complaints from the community regarding a lack of ranked rewards, Riot is finally adding new ways for players to celebrate their ranked milestones.
Moving forward, players will receive an in-game Flex in addition to their ranked Gun Buddy. Unlike the other Flex in the game, this V27 Competitive Flex will evolve with you through the year and upgrade based on your ranked achievements.
Players can also unlock upgrades as they play through the Acts, including some never-before-seen upgrades.
Lastly, there’s also updates to player profiles and the competitive tab, which go live next patch.
Agent Mastery Overhaul
The new Agent Mastery system in Valorant will enable players to flex their achievements in new ways.
Similar to the Lord icons from Marvel Rivals, Valorant players will now get unlockable Agent icons for their favorite characters upon hitting certain Mastery thresholds.
There’s also other rewards for leveling up your Agent Mastery, including Agent Gear, Sprays, Titles, Frames, and even new Stat unlocks.
Similar to the other changes, the Agent Mastery overhaul will go live with Valorant 13.06.
Valorant 13.06 Release Date
Now that we’ve taken a look at all the exciting changes coming to Valorant, now might be a good time to check out when they will actually be added to the game.
Riot Games has confirmed that all the aforementioned changes, with the exception of the Ranked Flex rewards, will go live with the Valorant 13.06 patch.
The Valorant 13.06 update will hit the servers just ahead of Champions Shanghai 2026, at around September 22, 2026.
Note that the exact date may vary based on your game region.
