How to convert Valorant sensitivity to CS2

Multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 3.18 to get your CS2 sensitivity. To go from CS2 to Valorant, divide by 3.18. The number comes from how far each game turns your view for every count your mouse sends: 0.07° in Valorant and 0.022° in CS2. Keep the same DPI in both games and the conversion is exact.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It lets you compare settings between players who use different DPI values. A player on 800 DPI and 0.35 sensitivity in Valorant has an eDPI of 280, the same as a player on 400 DPI and 0.7. eDPI is only comparable within the same game.

What is cm/360?

cm/360 is how many centimetres you move your mouse to turn a full circle. Unlike eDPI, it works across games: if your cm/360 is the same in Valorant and CS2, your aim will feel the same. Most tactical shooter players sit somewhere between 30 and 60 cm/360.

Tips when you switch games

  • Keep the same DPI in both games, then convert only the in-game sensitivity.
  • Turn off Windows “Enhance pointer precision” so the conversion stays accurate.
  • Scoped and ADS sensitivity work differently in each game; set those separately.
  • Give yourself a few sessions before changing anything else. The first matches always feel off.
