Revenant XSpark walked out of the Dentsu-IWMBuzz India Gaming Awards Season 5 in Mumbai with eight honours. Fans voted it Fan Favourite Esports Organisation of the Year, and seven creators on its roster won individual awards, with Xyaa and Kaashvi in the streaming categories and Triggered Insaan named Versatile Content Creator of the Year.
The ceremony took place on October 28, 2026. What stands out is where the trophies landed. Plenty of fans still think of Revenant XSpark as a BGMI team, yet seven of its eight awards went to people who stream, vlog or make videos for a living. That tells you a lot about where Indian gaming audiences spend their time right now.
Which Revenant XSpark creators won at India Gaming Awards Season 5?
Here is the full haul. The organiser sorts its awards into three groups on the official winners list: Popular, which includes the fan-favourite categories, plus Jury and Editorial.
| Winner | Award | Group |
|---|---|---|
| Revenant XSpark | Fan Favourite Esports Organisation of the Year | Popular |
| Shagufta “Xyaa” Iqbal | Fan Favourite Streamer of the Year (Female) | Popular |
| Kaashvi “Kaash Plays” Hiranandani | Streamer of the Year (Female) | Jury |
| Vanshaj Singh | Dynamic Content Creator of the Year (Male) | Editorial |
| Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar | Power Streamer of the Year | Editorial |
| Abhinav “ABHI9AV” Shukla | Emerging Star (Male) | Editorial |
| Kaveesha “Kavvaie” Uri | Emerging Star (Female), shared with Tarushika “Sheek” | Editorial |
| Nischay “Triggered Insaan” Malhan | Versatile Content Creator of the Year | Announced by Revenant XSpark |
Look closely at the streaming rows. Xyaa and Kaashvi won what is basically the same award from two different directions. Fans picked Xyaa in the Popular vote. The jury picked Kaashvi. Both of them stream under the same banner.
Emerging Star (Female) was a tie, too. Kavvaie shares it with Tarushika “Sheek”, according to IWMBuzz’s complete list of Season 5 winners.
Did Revenant XSpark win Esports Organisation of the Year?
It won the fan version. Fan Favourite Esports Organisation of the Year sits in the Popular group, so it reflects what the audience thinks. The jury’s Esports Organisation of the Year went to Godlike Esports.
Both results can be true at once. A jury looks at a year of work from the outside. Fans vote for the people they watch every night.
We also ran the numbers on the organiser’s published list, which has 20 categories. People from Revenant XSpark won 7 of them, a little over a third, and that count does not include Triggered Insaan’s Versatile Content Creator honour, which the organisation announced in its own release.
Revenant has stood on this stage before. At Season 2 of the India Gaming Awards in October 2023, it shared Esports Organisation of the Year with Global Esports, as India Today Gaming reported at the time.

Rohit Jagasia, founder and CEO of Revenant XSpark, called the night “an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Revenant XSpark” in a statement released after the event.
“Each of our creators has developed a distinct identity and a strong connection with their audience,” he said. “These awards are an encouraging recognition of the work our teams and creators put in every day.”
That last line is easy to skim past. Think about what streaming asks of a person, though. Hours live, most days of the week, in front of a chat that can be warm one minute and cruel the next, with numbers on screen telling you how you are doing in real time. Nights like this are among the few times that grind gets seen by a room full of peers.
How did Revenant XSpark build this creator roster?
Mostly through signings over the last two years. Revenant XSpark came together when Revenant Esports teamed up with Team XSpark, a partnership Team XSpark announced on October 31, 2024. Tanmay “ScoutOP” Singh, who led Team XSpark, is the brand ambassador.
Kaashvi joined in October 2025, alongside a roster that already had Vanshaj. Xyaa signed with the org around the same period. Then in January 2026 came the biggest name on paper, when Revenant XSpark signed Triggered Insaan to its creator line-up. He had more than 42.7 million YouTube subscribers at the time and is best known for reaction videos, comedy and commentary.
On paper, a comedy and reaction creator was an unusual signing for an esports org. After this week, it looks a lot less unusual. Revenant XSpark says it has a creator network of over 60 personalities and has worked with more than 400 brands across technology, FMCG, lifestyle and entertainment.
The competitive side is still there
None of this means the org has stepped back from esports. The XSpark BGMI side won both the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 in June and the BGMI Pro Series 2024 in September, according to Revenant XSpark’s Liquipedia results page. Several of those players made our list of the top 5 BGMI esports players of 2024.
Its Brawl Stars team reached the semifinals of the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025 in Stockholm last November, which Outlook Respawn reported as the first time an Indian team got that far. This year it also picked up the Head Hunters Free Fire MAX roster in March and started a new team with Kyle and Kimyy as its first MOBA Legends: 5v5! signings in September.
What else happened at the India Gaming Awards Season 5?
Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar attended as chief guest, according to the organiser. Among the other winners, Yash “lolzzz Gaming” Thakker took Fan Favourite Streamer of the Year (Male) and Siddhant “Shreeman Legend” Joshi won the jury’s Streamer of the Year (Male). Rudra “Spower” Banswani was named Esports Athlete of the Year, Nodwin Gaming won Esports Tournament Organiser of the Year, and Aaditya “Dynamo Gaming” Sawant received the Iconic Streamer award.
Dentsu India and IWMBuzz Media also launched the third edition of the India Gaming Report at the event. It counts 332 million current gamers in India, meaning people who played in the past three months, and 109 million of them pay for games. It sizes the market at Rs 14,344 crore for 2026.
One split in that report says a lot about this story. Gaming advertising brings in Rs 8,705 crore, while esports and related revenue sit at Rs 401 crore. By our maths, gaming advertising is nearly 22 times the size of esports revenue in that report, and creators are one of the main ways brands reach gamers. That is the space Revenant XSpark has been building toward, signing Kaashvi, Xyaa and Triggered Insaan over the past year.
