Esports at the 2026 Asian Games was held at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname, Japan, from 22 September to 2 October 2026, as part of the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026). It was the second Asian Games with esports as a full medal sport, with 11 medal events across 13 game titles, up from seven at Hangzhou 2022. India sent 15 athletes in four events and finished without a medal; Paritosh’s quarterfinal in Puyo Puyo Champions was the best Indian result.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports cleared a 15-member esports contingent on 22 August 2026, selected by the Esports Federation of India (ESFI). India played four events and won no medal.

All esports events were played at Aichi Sky Expo (the Aichi International Exhibition Center) in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, next to Chubu Centrair International Airport. Finals were played in Hall D.

Sony Pictures Networks India holds the Asian Games 2026 broadcast rights in India (Sony Sports Ten channels and Sony LIV). Several esports events were also streamed on the game publishers’ own channels, such as MLBB Esports on YouTube.

Previous editions

At Hangzhou 2022 (held in 2023) esports had seven medal events and China won four golds; India sent 15 athletes and won no medal.
