A total of 12 national teams are competing in the PUBG Mobile finals across September 28 and 29 at the Aichi Sky Expo in Japan. Teams play six matches per day for a total of 12 matches, with all Day 1 points carrying forward to Day 2. The first four matches each day are played on Erangel, followed by two matches on Miramar.
Thailand Leads PUBG Mobile Asian Games 2026 After Day 1
Thailand produced the strongest performance on the opening day and finished its first six matches with 75 points. With only six games remaining, the team has established a useful advantage at the top of the table heading into the final day.
China currently occupies second place with 61 points, 14 points behind Thailand. China entered Aichi-Nagoya as the defending Asian Games gold medalist in PUBG Mobile, having won the title at Hangzhou 2022.
Indonesia completes the provisional medal positions with 55 points. However, the battle for third remains close, as Vietnam sits just four points behind with 51.
Pakistan is fifth with 39 points, while South Korea finished Day 1 in sixth with 38. South Korea recovered in the final match of the day, collecting 13 points from a second-place finish and seven eliminations.

The competition uses the traditional PUBG Mobile scoring system shown for the event: a WWCD is worth 10 placement points, followed by six for second, five for third and four for fourth. Teams also receive one point for every elimination.

Everything will be decided on September 29, with another six matches scheduled. All 12 teams will carry their Day 1 scores into the final six games, meaning there is no reset before Day 2.
