- Stage 3: 16-team Swiss system with every match best of 3, as at the IEM Cologne Major. The top eight reach the Playoffs.
- Playoffs (10 to 13 December): 8-team single-elimination bracket. Quarter-finals and semi-finals are best of 3; the Grand Final is best of 5. The two semi-final losers play a best-of-3 match for third place, the first time a Major has one.
