Valve has locked in all 32 teams for PGL Major Singapore 2026. Every place came from the Valve Regional Standings published on 2 November, so there were no open qualifiers this time, and Stage 1 begins in Singapore on 24 November. MOUZ top the global standings with 1,960 points, ahead of Vitality on 1,922, FURIA on 1,912, Aurora on 1,860 and Spirit on 1,842.

Europe takes 18 of the 32 places, while the Americas get nine and Asia five. Moreover, the highest-ranked teams skip the early rounds altogether: eight sides go straight to Stage 3, eight more begin in Stage 2, and the remaining 16 have to start from Stage 1.

MOUZ, Vitality and Falcons go straight to Stage 3

Six European teams, MOUZ, Vitality, Aurora, Spirit, BetBoom and Falcons, are invited directly to Stage 3 on 2 December, along with FURIA and Legacy from the Americas. Falcons arrive as the reigning Major champions after beating FURIA 3-0 at IEM Cologne in June, although they sit only seventh in the global list with 1,764 points. FURIA, on the other hand, come in on form after winning PGL Masters Bucharest against Nemiga last week. No Asian team ranked high enough for a Stage 3 invite.

FaZe and Team Liquid start in Stage 1

Stage 2 begins on 28 November with FUT, Nemiga, G2, 1win, Natus Vincere and Astralis from Europe, MIBR from the Americas and The MongolZ, who are Asia’s highest-ranked team.

Stage 1, however, is where some of the biggest names have to begin. FaZe and Team Liquid both start there on 24 November, alongside Ninjas in Pyjamas, PARIVISION, HEROIC, Eternal Fire and 100 Thieves from Europe, and 9z, M80, DENDELE, Imperial and Wildcard from the Americas. Asia’s other four teams, BC.Game, FlyQuest, Chinggis Warriors and Lynn Vision, also start in Stage 1. Only the top eight of those 16 teams move on to Stage 2, so a poor few days could end a Major run before the top seeds have even played.

TYLOO, fnatic and NRG miss out

The race for the last places came down to a handful of points. 100 Thieves took Europe’s 18th and final spot with 1,511 points after winning FiRe Last Chance in Buenos Aires, which left them 23 points clear of HOTU and fnatic, who finished level on 1,488. Virtus.pro were further back in 23rd place in Europe. In the Americas, meanwhile, Wildcard claimed the ninth and last place with 1,391 points, while NRG were the first team out on 1,322.

Asia’s finish was even tighter. Lynn Vision took the fifth and final Asian place with 1,267 points, just three ahead of TYLOO on 1,264. TYLOO had forfeited their HyperX Retake quarter-final on 31 October so they could travel to IEM Beijing, and as a result Lynn Vision qualified without playing another match.

SINNERS finished 33rd in the global standings, one place outside the top 32, which led to posts on X saying they had missed out by a single spot. However, invites are handed out by region rather than from the global list, and SINNERS were 25th in Europe, seven places short of the cut.

Schedule and prize pool

Stages 1 to 3 are played in a studio in Singapore, and the top eight from Stage 3 reach the Playoffs at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 10 to 13 December. The Grand Final is a best-of-five on Sunday 13 December. Furthermore, for the first time at a Major, the two losing semi-finalists will play each other for third place. The prize pool is US$1,250,000, and the champions take home US$500,000.

PGL has not published match times yet. When it does, keep in mind that Singapore is two and a half hours ahead of India, so a 4:00 PM start there is 1:30 PM IST. Our PGL Major Singapore 2026 wiki page has the full schedule, format, tickets and venue details, and it will carry the results as the event goes on.
