Valorant might be getting a brand-new weapon in the near future, as recent leaks suggest “Warden” is coming to the competitive shooter in a future update.
The leak in question comes from prominent Valorant leaker and dataminer “valohabercisi,” who posted images and stats of Warden in an X post earlier today.
According to the leaker, the Warden is being developed as a full-auto rifle equipped with a 2x scope, slotting it into a niche currently somewhat occupied by the existing guns, but with its own distinct identity thanks to the automatic fire mode paired with the 2x optics, which is almost the same as the Guardian.
New Valorant Weapon Warden Stats Leaked
Based on the images shared in the leak, here’s what we know about the Warden so far:
- Cost: 2900 credits
- Magazine size: 18 rounds (90 reserve ammo)
- Fire rate: 6.55 rounds per second
- Reload time: 2.5 seconds
- Wall penetration: Medium
- Scope: 2x zoom
At 2900 credits, the Warden would sit at an interesting price point, and it would have to compete with the two fan-favorite weapons of the shooter: the Phantom and the Vandal. Combined with a 2x scope and full-auto profile, this could make it a hybrid pick for players who want the 1-headshot kill potential with better long-range and first-bullet accuracy than the Vandal.
Note that the exact damage numbers of the Warden have not been leaked at the time of writing, so take this with a grain of salt.
The last time Valorant saw a new weapon being added was the Bandit, a 650 Credits pistol that launched on January 6, 2026, with Season 2026 Act 1. If the Warden is real, it would mark the third new weapon added to Valorant’s arsenal after its release, following the Outlaw and the Bandit.
