Report: Shox or Kioshima to replace NBK

After a disheartening exit from the Starladder Major, Vitality were quick to announce the dropping of Nathan โ€˜NBKโ€™ Schmitt on Twitter mostly due to internal problems with the squad. Fans are yet uncertain about the teamโ€™s attendance to the Blast Pro Series Moscow after this recent change in their roster.

We reported the possibility of Richard โ€˜Shoxโ€™ Papillon joining Vitality after reportedly being dropped from the roster by G2 alongside Lucas โ€˜Luckyโ€™ Chastang. Initially it seemed both players opening up to the international market to set off to a new project but as it seems Shoxyis set topicked up by the 2nd best-ranked team in the world as reported by +1pv, after the French side swayed away their eyes from Fabien โ€˜kioShiMaโ€™ Fiey who was dropped from the Cloud9 roster.

Vitality are yet to confirm anything but the situation is still unclear as Kio is a free agent as of now but Shox is still bounded by a contract by G2, which means his arrival would involve a financial gain for G2 Esports. Financial benefit for G2 might be necessary as they are targeting two of CR4ZYโ€™s star players in Nemanja โ€˜huNterโ€™ Kovac and Nemanja โ€˜nexaโ€™ Isakovic.

NBK, on the other hand, has been quick to put himself open to offers and is certainly looking for a new home, no reports on his likely destination as of yet.

With Kio Lucky and NBK without a team, we might be looking at the beginning of a new french project.

Zeus to retire after BLAST Pro Series Moscow

The major winning Ukrainian in-game leader Danylo โ€˜Zeusโ€™ Teslenko is set to retire after Blast Pro Moscow, he previously announced in a HLTV interview back in December that he has decided that his time with Counter-Strike has come to an end and that he feels he must make way for the new generation to take up his mantel. He looks forward to lead his team for one last time in front of their home crowd in Moscow.

The announcement came from NatusVincere soon after an unexpected exit from the Berlin after falling short against NRG in the quarterfinals. The final tournament for the veteran IGL in NaVi colors would see his side go up against the likes of Vitality, ENCE, and MIBR.

“It was a tough decision โ€” I have been thinking about it for a while,” Zeus said in a statement. ” There were rumors I could leave after BLAST, but I believed our new roster could win a Major, or make it into the finals at least.

“But we lost early on, and I realize I need to give way to the youth. Itโ€™s rough, honestly: I have devoted 20 years of my life to Counter-Strike, and itโ€™s about time to wrap it up. I want to thank everyone who was with me all this time, cheered for me and believed in me.

“This is not an end, but a start of a new path. There will be lots of interesting stuff: I want to develop esports in CIS, build a pro academy, engage with the young. I have lots of ideas. But I will not be coaching, at least for now. It might happen sometime in the future.

“My last event, BLAST, will start in a few days in Moscow. I am inviting every person who can โ€” come and support us. Our eyes are set on the victory.”

Zews has shared the stage with the likes of s1imple and electronic. He has been crowned as a major winner under the Gambit line-up in PGL Krakow 2017, followed by ESL One Cologne and Blast Pro Copenhagen in 2018 under the NAVI banner. The 31-year-old has decided that his career has come to a natural conclusion and thus the decision and is set to retire with a career to envy upon.

Exploring the possible movements in roster after Berlin CSGO Major 2019

As celebrations of the Berlin Major comes to an end, we are expected to witness some drastic changes across several top tier rosters. Here is a list of few players who we can definitely expect to see under a new banner.

Marcelo โ€˜Coldzeraโ€™ David

To kick off the list it would be unfair not to mention the situation surrounding the major winning mercurial Brazilian. Coldzera has always been a player to speak his heart out, and he wasnโ€™t shy to express his troubles with the current MIBR line-up. Coldzera asked to be benched few weeks ahead of the Berlin Major and Zews took his place in the squad. Without Coldzera they failed to make out of the group stage in Berlin. As soon as news of him getting benched surfaced, he was heavily linked with FaZe Clan who themselves didnโ€™t do any better in the major, but Coldzera seem to share a special bond with their star player Nikola โ€˜NiKoโ€™ Kovac, the pair has been constantly seen exchanging tweets and NiKo commenting โ€˜FaZeUpโ€™ on Coldโ€™s Instagram post added fuel to the fire.

Aleksi โ€˜AleksiBโ€™ Virolainen

cmp3.14.14.72670860q4 0xa362b87a

The ice-cold Finn was dropped from the ENCE line up after the major, but his departure was confirmed beforehand as ENCE announced the signing of Mika โ€˜Sunnyโ€™ Kempii who has represented the organization in the past. Unlike Coldzera, Aleksi is still dreaming of his first major and his likely destination is similar to that of Cold, FaZe Clan. FaZe lacking a proper structure to bring out the best from the stars in their line-up, and they are looking uptoAleksiB to be the answer to leadership-related problems. Neo and GuardaiN are likely to leave the organization before the next premier event in ESL One New York.

Richard โ€˜Shoxโ€™ Papillon

The French veteran is reported to be dropped from the G2 roster with necessary changes made before the major, putting AmaNeK up for the IGL role. It is safe to say Shoxy has been a star for every team he has played, shared his major winning moment with the legendary KennyS. Shox with his new teammate Lucky is set to look for a new team with Vitality being a likely destination for Shox, as NBK has been recently dropped from the roster after a disappointing exit from the major, but nothing has linked both parties as of yet. KioShiMa has been linked with the French side and is likely preferred over Shox by them to fit into their structure.

Alongside players without a team, there is a team looking for players to build a roster, which is none other than Nadeshot’s 100Thieves. With investments secured they have pockets deep enough to secure any player they want. When major reach their natural conclusion they bring about a vibe to the excitement with fans deeply invested into knowing what changes might occur with their favourite player or team. This is that time of the year again and we remain equally excited to see how the teams shape up before upcoming events.

They were the favourites coming into the IEM Katowice 2019 and they showed it that why they were so. Coming to this major they were not the favourites because of their performances before the player break, they showed that they are here to win by eliminating the favourites Team Liquid.

G2 looking to replace shox and Lucky

It looks like we are in for a French shuffle for sure, after the Berlin Major draws close. The foundation for it though, has already been laid by both Vitality and G2. Vitality announced recently that NBK- has been benched.

French journalist neLendirekt has speculated in his published report that G2 are also considering changes to their active roster. The French stack is currently looking to replace shox and Lucky in the active lineup.

G2 came close to entering the Champions Stage and assuring their place in the Group Stage of the next major, only to lose to AVANGAR and Renegades after being 2-1 at the Legends Stage.

The Major though, was shox’s first sub-1.00 event out of his last 10, with the stalwart ending the Berlin Major with an average rating of 0.98. Lucky on the other hand, has mostly underperformed at events since joining G2 from 3DMAX.

neL has pointed towards Lucky’s underperformance for the reason for his benching while there is no particular reason mooted for the speculation surrounding shox.

In the lead up to this report, we already saw CR4ZY CEO Antonio Meic call out G2 owner Carlos Ocelote in his tweet, stating that the latter had tried to poach players from CR4ZY. neL has stated that the players in question are likely to be nexa and huNter.

Unlike Vitality though, the report is yet to be confirmed by G2 themselves. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for shox, if he indeed is to be removed from the active lineup. A candidate for the new 100 Thieves roster perhaps?

Vitality bench NBK- after Berlin exit

The Starladder Berlin CSGO 2019 Major hasn’t even ended but the teams have initiated their roster changes, taking steps towards having an even more competitive lineup for the coming season.

CSGO organization Vitality is one of the first major organizations to confirm their change. The French-majority stack have decided to bench NBK- in the aftermath of their Quarter-Final exit from the Berlin Major. NBK- had a disappointing Major by his standards, averaging a rating of 0.84 over the 9 maps Vitality played in Berlin.

The announcement hints at a move from two IGLs to having ALEX as the sole IGL going forward, perhaps inferring a notion that there might have been differences in philosophy between the two IGLs.

It is unclear as to who Vitality will target to bring in as a replacement for the French stalwart. NBK- remains in contract with Vitality and will drop to the bench as the organization and the player decide on what is the optimum resolution to the situation at hand.

With NBK- dropping to the bench, Vitality are down to just four players in their active lineup.

PUBG Mobile update 0.14.5 to roll out soon

0

Tencent recently released a massive update (0.14.0) for PUBG Mobile and it brought huge gameplay changes and bug fixes. It seems like it wasnโ€™t enough as Tencent is back with another big update for the game which is rumoured to bring a new game mode and flying helicopters. Update 0.14.5 is expected to come around anytime between 9th to 12th September and much has already been leaked about what this update brings to the table.

Royale Pass 9

With this update, season 8 comes to an end as season 9 commences alongside a new royale pass. โ€œWarriors Uniteโ€ is the rumoured theme name for this season and like every season, it will have 100 RP rewards. The Royale Pass will bring along a crazy set of skins, a few of which are The Observer Set, Infected Grizzly M249, The Observer Cover, Infected Grizzly Dacia, Draconian Champion set and weapons. We can also expect some avatar frames and other essentials like helmets, parachute bags, emotes and much more.

New Mode

Mr. Ghost Gaming, PUBG Mobileโ€™s primary data miner has shown us leaks of grounded helicopters in certain loading screens but now it seems that these helicopters will be usable as weaponized transport. Gameplay from the Chinese Beta version shows that these helicopters will require fuel like any other vehicle, giving the players an unfair advantage. But they will certainly be easy to take down with the new homing missile launcher which is rumoured to make its way to the game. Notably, the ability to fly helicopters will be available in a special heavy weapons mode. The Chinese beta also seems to have the BRDM amphibious vehicle which can work both on land as well as water. There are rumours of new loot crates which will remain underground unless players meet certain conditions, and will reveal themselves by rising to the surface to provide the players with grenade launchers, RPGโ€™s and Miniguns. The highly anticipated Deagle pistol is expected to be introduced in this update.

Check out this video for more information regarding 0.14.5

Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
