CSGO: Fnatic Looks To Complete Their Roster With Former Players GOLDEN and FLUSHA

According to a report by 1pv.fr, after the departure of Richard โ€˜Xiztโ€™ Landstrรถm and Simon “twist” Eliasson, the Swedish esports organization are looking to get back the services of former stars Robin โ€˜flushaโ€™ Rรถnnquist and Maikil โ€˜Goldenโ€™ Selim.

Both their targets formerly have been a part of Fnatic for an extensive period of time, and have played beside some of the current players like Krimz and JW. Flusha, at one point was considered as a cheater, but over the time with his amazing performance on LAN events, he was able to earn back the trust of the community. Both him and golden have shared a brief spell with North American organization Cloud9.

Golden was recently involved in professional CSGO, when he wore the Ninjas In Pyjamaโ€™s colours in the Berlin Major last week, and recent reports are hinting a move to their national rivals. If these signings go through, we would see a reminiscence of the roster that took home IEM Katowice 2018.

With the reported changes, fnatic would have the following roster:

  • Jesper “JW” Wecksell
  • Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
  • Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin
  • Robin “flusha” Rรถnnquist
  • Maikil “Golden” Selim

Andreas “Samuelsson” Samuelsson who is the newly recruited coach for them after Fnatic part ways with Jumpy, is expected to take this line-up back to where it belongs, at the top of the CSGO mountain. Flusha is supposed to take Twistโ€™s place in the squad, which means JW will get more time on the AWP and GOLDEN will over the leadership from Xizt which are hard shoes to fill as he is considered as one the greatest IGL who revolutionized this role.

CSGO: First look of the Reworked New Cache Map

We’re two weeks far from the official unveiling of the reworked new cache map, but the maker FMPONE is already keeping the fans on their toes.

FMPONE who is known for his contributions and restructuring of famous CSGO maps, put up a Twitter header of an art. An art which resembles stained glass atย Cafe Pripyat, a Ukranian eatery located near the Chernobyl Power Plant as first reported by Olivia R of Win.GG.

After the nuclear devastation in 1986, Pripyat became a ghost-town, abandoned in the ashes. The nuclear site might have more references in the map than one would anticipate.

The map Cache was removed from the Active Duty Pool in march, ever-since it was under reconstruction phase.

The new reworked Cache map will be revealed at ESL One New York on the 29th of September. A showmatch will be played which will allow gamers, analysts and casters to get an in-depth look of the new map.

Astralis claim No. 2 spot in HLTV CSGO World Rankings after Berlin Major

After a successful Berlin Major Astralis climbed to the 2nd spot, while an unexpected early exit for Team Liquid but they keep their place intact, while NRG were a fun team to follow in the Major putting them in the third place above Vitality who share the same story with Liquid and ENCE. ENCE held a 5th place just above the runner-up Avangar .

RANKINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS

#1 TEAM LIQUID

No surprises here, the North American side has achieved enough this year to keep their throne. Winning back to back events and an Intel Grand Slam, they are right where they are supposed to be, missing out on a major or one poor tournament hardly matters after their enormous success after they proved, they are the team to beat.

#2 ASTRALIS

After winning three back to back majors, they made it to the top of the ranking table and set the benchmark. They seemed to fall short after their success. Coming into the Berlin Major, they were an unknown quantity but proved they are still up there with Team Liquid and took home their 4th major and jumping two spots to take the 2nd place.

#3 NRG

Quite the surprising factor in the list. They havenโ€™t had the fortune to win any premier tournament across the year, but solid finishes across every tournament, while causing upset to some big dawgs has given their rightful third position on the rank table. With young talents and sharp veterans, they will be a serious contender for trophies next season.

#4 Vitality

Quite a disappointing finish for them in the major saw them falling down form the 2nd position to 4th. They broke into the scene by winning ECS Season 7 over Astralis and NRG with an inform Zywoo in their squad, they were a serious contender for every trophy this year, its still unclear how the squad shapes up for the next season, but it will surely be exiting.

#5 ENCE

The song EZ4ENCE was a meme material until they surprised the community to reach the final of IEM Katowice. They only garnered respect for themselves after losing the final to Astralis. But winning the Blast Pro Series Madrid over NaVi and 2nd place finishes at IEM Chicago and DreamHack Master Dallas 2019 helped them rise up the ranking table to the 5th place. The new look ENCE with Sunny on their side will debut in Blast Moscow in a few days.

#6 AVANGAR

The only team in the list to made it up to here at the very last moment. Probably that is what the Major Finalist tag earns you. No notable achievement this year but until the very end of the season, where they reached the final of the Berlin Major and falling short against the Danes in Astralis. They are looking at a well and truly deserved spot in the list.

#7 Natus Vincere

Other than winning Starladder i-League Season 7, NaVi had finished 4th and 5th in Blast Pro Madrid and Blast Pro Miami respectively. It is safe to say with talents like s1mple and electronic, any team is a contender for top tier trophies. NaVi are expected to go through roster change in the coming to days, no reports about how the team will shape up. NaVI IGL Zews is set to retire after Blast Moscow and will make way for a new IGL to step in. 7th position is something to proud of but not if you are Natus Vincere.

#8 Mousesports

After acquiring karrigan and going through a massive roster overhaul, Mouz seemed to fail to make any notable impact, but through the course of this new look Mouz they have showed some exiting Counter Strike and looked serous contenders at times. With young guns in Ropz, Frozen and Woxic, they look to make an impact in the coming tournaments, 8th is the best position which they have achieved under this new line-up, but they look hungry to climb up further.

#9 G2

Like Mouz they also went through some serious roster changed by adding Jackz and Lucky, it was until the signing of AmaNek, that they were able to become relevant to the scene again. AmaNekโ€™s signing took them to new heights as ESL Pro League Season 9, witnessed their best finish of the year taking the second place after losing to the final to Team Liquid. 9th place is a suitable spot for them in the rankings.

#10 FaZe Clan

Once the best team in the world, but failing to find a proper structure after consecutive switch of leadership saw them fall from the ranks to the 10th position on the list. They are expected to go through a massive roster overhaul in the coming days. Blast Pro Los Angeles and EPICENTRE were two of the most notable achievements this year. A disappointing finish in Berlin saw them falling further in the ranks.

Overall a fair ranking dropped by HLTV, with some interesting teams rising up the ladder and some significant giants of the game falling below their standards. With upcoming events in New York and Moscow, we are yet to see which team holds up to their ranks.

Walmart selling esports merch from teams like Astralis and Team Liquid

0

Walmart, a prominent North American shopping outlet is reported to sell merchandise for the best League Of Legends, Overwatch and CS:GO teams like TSM, Angeles Valiant and Fnatic on their website.

Apparently, the retailer is looking forward to hop in the esports merchandise bandwagon. Beside jerseys, they have gathered accessories and other gears from worldโ€™s top esports organization.

So far, only The Esports Fan Shop stock items from the North American League of Legends Championship Series, Overwatch League and the ESL Shop. This explains their eligibility to sell items from the likes of Cloud9, Ninjas in Pajamas and over 40 other recognized teams.

Merchandise is sold and shipped by the outside organizations, that means the Overwatch League Jerseys will still come from Fnatic and INTO THE AM and LCS merch will come from We Are Nations. However, the prices are significantly low, with free delivery on offers and selected items.

This is an opportunity for Esports Fans to grab the merch from their favorite teams and also skim the delivery charges off the top. The delivery is limited to USA and Canada as of now. While The Esports Shop in only available online, this looks like a step towards brining esports merch to household athletic stores.

CSGO: NaVi considering GuardiaN

According to a tweet by Haci, Natus Vincere are considering the return of Ladislav โ€˜guardiaNโ€™ Kovac back into their roster after Zeus went public about his retirement after Blast Pro Series Moscow. There remains a serious chance of this move to go through as the Slovak seems to have fallen out of flavor under FaZe Clan.

Previously, sources have already hinted towards a roster overhaul of FaZe, with Neo, Olof and guardiaN to be the possible departures, reportedly making way for Broky, Coldzera and AleksiB. FaZe are a organization known for making massive roster changes to achieve immediate results.

NaVi were an inconsistent team, failing to achieve what such a roster is capable of, with former player guardian back to the roster, it would only add to their firepower. The question remains, if guardiaN is to be signed by the Ukrainian organization, who is up for the leadership role. On top of that with the veteran sniper on their side we would definitely expect to see the AWP less in the hands of s1imple. NaVi has underperformed several times this year and are definitely looking to improve on that department for the coming events.

Virtus.pro sign phr

In a recent announcement, the Polish organization has confirmed the signing of Tomasz โ€œphrโ€ Wojcik on a permanent contract.

The 22-year-old becomes a Virtus.pro player completing the trial after the benching of Michal โ€œOKOLICIOUZโ€ Glowaty.

The organization hopes that the signing of phr will help them achieve a place in the Top 15 in the HLTV ranking before the end of this year.

We will see phr play his first LAN event as a Virtus.pro player next week, at the V4 Future Sports Festival where teams like mousesports, MIBR, NIP will fight in Budapest.

Current roster of Virtus.pro โ€“

โ€ขJanusz โ€œSnaxโ€ Pogorzelski
โ€ขMichal โ€œsnatchieโ€ Rudzki
โ€ขMichal โ€œMICHUโ€ Muller
โ€ขArek โ€œVegiโ€ Nawojski
โ€ขTomasz โ€œphrโ€ Wojcik
โ€ขJakub โ€œkubenโ€ Gurczynski (coach)

CSGO: Vitality to withdraw from Blast Pro Moscow

0

According to the sources of DeKay from Dexerto, Team Vitality are reported to withdraw from the upcoming Blast Pro event in Moscow. The French team might opt of the tournament primarily due to roster related issues.

According to several sources who seem to have knowledge about the situation surrounding Vitality stated that the choice to opt out of Blast Pro Series Moscow 2019 may be under significant consideration by the organization.

The reason for which being the failure to add a new fifth for their squad just weeks ahead of the event. After the benching of Nathan โ€˜NBKโ€™ Schmitt due to reported internal problems within the squad, we have had the chance to narrow down his replacement, who as it seems to be Richard โ€˜Shoxโ€™ Papillon, while Fabien โ€˜kioShiMaโ€™ Fiey was also a serious contender for NBKโ€™s spot.

If they are to pick up either of the French starts, it only leaves them with a couple of days to integrate the new signing into their game plan.

Vitality are a big name in world Counter Strike right now, they backing out of any series is an unfortunate event. The Blast Pro Series Moscow boasts a $250000 prize pool and will be attended by the likes of ENCE, MIBR, Natus Vincere.

Luminosity to add skullz as a loan

The Brazilians squad has completed their roster by adding the 17-year-old Felipe โ€œskullzโ€ Medeiros on loan from W7M, after they benched Henrique โ€œHEN1โ€ Teles recently.

Luminosity is no stranger to loans as they also have a two-way deal with MIBR, having loaned out Lucas โ€œLUCAS1โ€ Teles in exchange of โ€œfelpsโ€. Skullz was recently signed by W7M, this is the reason the organization opted for a loan agreement.

The changes in the roster are a result of continuous bad performances in events, with the team not able to qualify for the Berlin Major due to back to back losses against INTZ and Furia at the Americas Minor.

Skullz has already started playing with the team in the Dreamhack Masters Malmo North American open qualifiers. Luminosity is also set to compete in ECS season 8, and is eager to start the new season to gain more experience with new addition.

Luminosity lineup now looks like:

  • Gabriel โ€œNEKIZโ€ Schenato
  • Lucas โ€œsteelโ€ Lopes
  • Ricardo โ€œboltzโ€ Prass
  • Joao โ€œfelpsโ€ Vasconcellos (loan)
  • Felipe โ€œskullzโ€ Medeiros (loan)
  • Henrique โ€œHEN1โ€ Teles (benched)
  • Rafael โ€œzakkโ€ Fernandes (coach)

Renegades CSGO team reported to part ways with their organization

As the Berlin Major has come to its conclusion, the Renegades roster also seems to have reached the end of the line under the Australian banner. Multiple sources stated that Renegades players have contract that are to be expire real soon, maybe sooner than we realize. Some sources are indicating towards a mass renewal of contract from their players while others indicate Renegades parting ways with Counter-Strike in its entirety, with little to no intention to return.

Renegades debuted their CSGO after acquiring the Vox Eminor line-up which featured Aaron “AZR” Ward and Justin “jks” Savage from the current line-up. JKS has been a star player for them, single headedly grinding out the match for his side. Through the course of time, they have undergone a lot of roster changes but never seem to have found their footing, with insignificant finishes all along until recent months.

The current Renegades roster consist of:

  • Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward
  • Justin ‘jks’ Savage
  • Joakim ‘jkaem’ Myrbostad
  • Sean ‘Gratisfaction’ Kaiwai
  • Jay ‘Liazz’ Tregillgas

With this line-up they made it to the semi-finals of Starladder Berlin Major 2019, which is the most notable achievement for the organisationโ€™s CSGO roster, alongside a quarter-final finish in Katowice Major 2019 and the most disappointing finish for them was at ESL One Cologne 2019, where they came last. Renegades are yet to play in ESL Pro League Season 10 but have enough time in their hands to retract their name from the competition.

According to information presented to Dexerto, ESL has presented certain teams with a term sheet that would require them to exit all other leagues longer than 14 days in length.

AVANGAR to keep their roster intact

After the dream run by the Kazakhstani side in the Berlin Major after beating teams like Liquid, Vitality and Renegades, they have announced that there will be no changes in the current roster.

In a twitter post, AVANGAR issued that they will not be entertaining any types of offers for their players.

With Natus Vincere looking for possible replacements of Zeus after his retirement, many speculated that AVANGAR could become a feeder team for the Russian side, with the likes of JAME, qikert and buster- the stars of the AVANGAR line-up.

Prior to the Berlin Major Grand Final qikert also highlighted in an interview that he was happy that he didnโ€™t join NAVI in the start of the year when they were facing problems with Edward and loved the fact that he would be playing major grand finals with his friends.
