Team Liquid part ways with Dota 2 roster

Team Liquid just announced that they have parted ways with their DOTA 2 roster.

This announcement was surprising as, Liquid have been a dominant force in the DOTA 2 scene, but it seems like the decision was mutual.

Liquid CEO Victor “Nazgul” Goossens explains the reason for the departure:

When Kuroky told me about their plans in the wake of TI9, I couldnโ€™t help but think about my own journey from professional player to team owner. After four years under the Team Liquid organization, our Dota team has decided to pursue this new dream: To build a team of their own. While it fills me with great sadness to part ways with the best Dota roster we ever could have dreamed of, I am proud of the unforgettable years we have spent together, which include innumerable championships, records, and memories. That culminated in their crowning as the best Dota team in the world on August 12th 2017, and we built a legend in this historic 2.5 year span.

While parting with friends is always a sadness, I am genuinely happy our players and the new adventure they are about to take. It isnโ€™t every day that world class players take the leap to become team owners. They deserve this more than anyone, and I am glad that we were able to share the road to greatness together. It is my hope that during their time on Team Liquid, that we have helped prepare them for the path they are embarking on.
Kuro, I know that the time ahead is by no means going to be easy, but if anyone can figure it out it is you. Iโ€™ve gotten to know you over the past years as someone who is willing to shoulder any burden to achieve his goals, and you do this with a sense of loyalty to those around you that is hard to find. It never mattered whether it was practice, coaching, drafting, game strategy, mental support, negotiation โ€” you did it all. You are bar none the greatest leader I have seen and I am confident that this ability will take you to new heights as you embark on this journey.
Kuro, the incredible leader who will stop at nothing to achieve greatness,
Miracle, the maestro who lives and breathes Dota,
GH, the patron saint of positivity who’s always ready for the big moment,
w33ha, the difference-maker who stepped up when it mattered most,
Mind_Control, the constant who provided kindness, dedication, and skill in equal measure.
And of course, Matu, the fan-favorite who made even the hardest grinds worth enduring.
You have been absolute legends of the game and Team Liquid. Thank you for everything, and youโ€™ll always be welcome to visit. I have the utmost respect for your decision and look forward to meeting you on the battlefield.
Iโ€™d like to extend special thanks to our manager Mohamed, and our coaches Heen and rmN, who have all played a major role in our teamsโ€™ success. Youโ€™ve all been a pleasure to work with.
I want to briefly also touch on our intention to remain in Dota. We first picked up a Dota team in 2012 and we are here to stay. It is hard to predict the future and it is by no means a given that we find the right fit immediately when we look for a roster, but I can definitely say that we love this game and want to be a part of it. We are on the lookout for individuals or teams who can continue the winning legacy that the five boys leave behind, and we will let you know as soon as we have an update.

Team Liquid has been one of the most followed and most like DOTA 2 team in recent times, and will sorely be missed.

14 year old commits suicide for not being allowed to play PUBG Mobile

7

Merely 4 days ago we reported a horrific case which took place involving the multiplayer battle Royale game, Pubg Mobile and yet another incident has come to light. A 14 year old resident of Gajuwaka area in Andhra Pradeshโ€™s Vishakhapatnam has reportedly died while receiving treatment for a suicide attempt for the sheer reason of not being allowed to play this game.

The incident took place a month ago but the matter came to light after the boyโ€™s sad demise which occurred on Tuesday. According to police reports, the boy was addicted to Pubg Mobile and was neglecting studies despite pursuing SSC from a private school which led to a heated argument between him and his mother, Triveni. On august 20th, his mother took away his mobile phone depriving him of the ability to play the game, which resulted in the boy attempting suicide by ingesting water mixed with insecticides. He was initially admitted to a hospital in Visakhapatnam but due to his deteriorating state, he was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Sheelanagar. After 14 days of rigorous treatment and worsening conditions, he was shifted to King George Hospital where he died on Tuesday.

The big question which arises every time such a case comes to light is that who is to be blamed? The developers of this addictive multiplayer game, which is easily accessible by anyone within the reach of a mobile phone OR the youth of today who have forgotten all boundaries of self control and discipline and value this game above life.

We at Talkesport condemn such acts and feel deeply saddened by this news and offer sincere condolences.

Coldzera and Broky seen practicing with FaZe Players

0

According to a leaked screenshot on Twitter, the rumors of Coldzera and Broky being involved in practice sessions with FaZe Clan pros NiKo, Rain and Olofmeister has been found to be true. NEO has already left the organization after a brief spell and GuardiaN leaving the organization looks like just a matter of time, now with NaVi showing significant interest in their former AWPer.

Reports claimed NaVi are looking ways to integrate GuradiaN into their roster but option for other possible recruits is also mentioned. It is still unclear whether it will be a permanent deal or a loan if they choose to go with the Slovak.

If Coldzera and Broky joins the team, the organization will be without a proper IGL, thus it might not be an ideal to solution to their problems. Aleksib at one point seemed an imminent signing but since the news of him joining FaZeโ€™s steam group, those rumors have gone cold.

Coldzera and Broky are very contrasting in terms of experience, the major winning Brazilian has proven himself with apex teams at top tournaments, whereas the 17-year-old Latvian marksman is yet to play with a top tier team but has impressed enough to get the attention form the likes of FaZe Clan.

The roster if the alleged players join will look like
โ€ข NiKo
โ€ข Rain
โ€ข Olofmeister
โ€ข Coldzera
โ€ข Broky

It is clear that FaZe will be without a proper IGL and a natural AWPer as well. NiKo, Olof and Cold has been proficient with the big green gun (who can forget when Cold earned a tattoo for himself on Mirage). About the topic of IGL, Aleksib is the strongest contender yet but still unclear whoโ€™s head will be next to fall after NEO and possibly GuardiaN.

AFK beer brand launched by Team Secret

0

Worldwide esports brand Team Secret has expanded its range by uncovering another marked specialty lager. The brew, called AFK, is presently accessible to purchasers.

AFK is the world’s first esports marked mixed drink, as indicated by Team Secret’s legitimate site. The lager is planned for catching gaming society by speaking to easygoing fans and no-nonsense aficionados the same.

Fermented in organization with Levante Brewery, AFK is named an unfiltered IPA that flaunts both Mosaic and Idaho 7 jumps. Levante and Team Secret’s joint effort can be promptly found in esports scenes, parlors, bars, and eateries, as indicated by the association. AFK was tested by media and influencers inside the esports network at The International in Shanghai a month ago.

With overall accessibility, AFK will probably show up in numerous esports fields in the coming months. Mystery’s transition to turn into the first esports association to reveal a marked mixed refreshment is a major push into an unknown area for the business.

The Overwatch League has eminently traveled into the universe of mixed drink sponsorship with its association with Budweiser, yet that is about to the extent the business has gone into that domain.

CSGO: Roster Shuffles in Full Throttle

Astralis taking their fourth major in Berlin few days back kicked off the transfer season of CSGO. Teams have been on a constant hunt for top talents with some major players parting ways with top teams while some finding a way into a new home.

Most teams are expected to grab their new players very soon as two premier tournaments are scheduled in September, with Blast Pro Moscow in the coming weekend and ESL One New York later this month.

The Confirmed Roster Moves So Far Are:

โ€ข kNgV joins MIBR After the Coldzera saga, the Brazilian organization was forced to use their coach Wilton โ€˜Zeusโ€™ Prado as their 5th, Zeus was inactive as a player for too long to keep up with the active one, resulting in poor finishes for his side. MIBR finally decided to fill Coldzeraโ€™s shoes with another Brazilian in kNgV.

โ€ข NBK benched by Vitality Nathan โ€˜NBKโ€™ Schmitt was benched after the major and his departure is just a matter of time, with reports all over internet linking various French players already in the conversation of his replacement. NBKโ€™s benching is reported to be due to personal issues within the squad.

โ€ข Complexity lets Rickeh go. Ricardo โ€˜Rickehโ€™ Mulholland was an inconsistent player from Complexity, after an awful finish in Berlin, they like many other teams were forced to make a change. Their CEO however has been public about acquiring the services of a โ€œJuggernautโ€ for his team.

โ€ข Virtus Pro ropes in phr Tomasz โ€˜phrโ€™ Wรณjcik has been officially confirmed as a permanent player for the Polish organization after a trial period. He will replace Michal โ€˜OKOLICIOUZโ€™ Glowaty who hasnโ€™t been as effect as phr.

โ€ข NEO leaves FaZe Clan NEO was appointed as an IGL for FaZe, but failed to impress under the American banner. After a trophy less run under his leadership, FaZe decided to end his trail tenure, possibly making way for Aleksib to take over.

โ€ข Zeus to set to retire. Zeus is set to retire from professional CSGO. Blast Moscow will be the last event NaVi will be led by the veteran IGL. It is yet unclear who would replace him. Zeus was public about his decision to leave the organisation because according to him his time has come and he needs to make way for the youth before things turn south with the fanbase.

These are some of the roster changes that have been confirmed by the organization, more to come in the upcoming weeks, with transfer rumors floating around, the coming days will be nothing but exciting. Keep a tab on this article as we will keep updating it as more transfers go through.

Deaf players have the option to see footsteps in CSGO now

Sound cues in CSGO are as important as visual cues, proper utilisation of sound can give you a huge advantage over your opponents. Sound of bomb plants, defuses, snipers scoping, weapons reloading, breaking of vents and most importantly footsteps. Even the lightest sound can give away most of your game plan, while you can get a rough idea about that of your opponents.

Such tools should be developed with extreme care as exploitation of it might lead to something as similar to that of wall hacks. But this config has been approved by both Valve and FaceIt, players are clear to use this as long as the config is remain unchanged.

NEO leaves FaZe Clan

Filip “NEO” Kubski’s tenure with FaZe Clan has come to an end. FaZe Clan have officially confirmed on Twitter. Veteran Polish IGL NEO took over the leadership role from Nikola โ€˜NiKoโ€™ Kovac, after the AdreN left the squad. NEO has failed to impress as FaZe failed to win any trophy under his belt. NEO was tactfully chosen to bring the explosive Polish CS to FaZeโ€™s roster to complement their extraordinary firepower.

After an early exit in the Major, a big roster overhaul was eminent considering FaZeโ€™s reputation. As it seems now NEO is the first man to fall, making way for a new IGL which is likely to be major finalist Aleksi โ€˜Aleksibโ€™ Virolainen, who recently part ways with Finnish organization ENCE.

FaZe are now:

  • Hรฅvard “rain” Nygaard
  • Nikola “NiKo” Kovaฤ
  • Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
  • Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovรกcs

FaZe Clan are expected to go through a massive roster overhaul, upon which they would be under serious pressure to deliver at their next event at ESL ONE New York. As of now, Coldzera, Alkesib and Broky has been heavily linked with FaZe, it is yet unclear how the roster would shape up in coming days. The changes are to be expected soon as they would get much more practice time before the event and might come up to surprise fans.
