0

Luv Sharma aka GodNixon is one of the most popular YouTubers in the PUBG Mobile scene in India. He’s mostly famous for his tips & tricks videos where he shows various unique ways in which you can make the best possible use of the area/buildings be it bridges, squad houses, triple storey builds, warehouses and so on. With over 845K subscribers on YouTube and around 60+ million views on his YouTube channel, he is one of the mainstream content creators out there for PUBG Mobile.

Amazed by the quality of content available on his channel, Fnatic India has decided to take GodNixon overboard as their content creator. Is this a move to help the Fnatic PUBG squad perform better than their performance right now with some help from one of the best content creators out there? Or is it just that they want to take a step forward in a positive direction so as to create more opportunities for budding content creators out there?

FalleN asks fans to stay home amid coronavirus outbreak

The Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro has dismissed this coronavirus as “small flu” and asked his fellow countrymen to get back to work. Defying his president’s request, FalleN makes the safety of his fans his chief concern and urges them to stay home.

“Yesterday we received an email from the firm that manages the apartment I live in here in the USA. They made available an application to be able to pay half the rent in installments, only ahead. Anyone who can help by holding the bars at that moment needs to do so. If you have the chance, don’t leave home.
I understand the fear of the recession and the economic damage that the whole world will suffer from stopping for so long but at these times I believe that the most ethical and humane thing is to think about saving as many lives as possible” read FalleN’s Tweet.

FalleN has offered a new payout system to his tenants. He feels unsafe staying in the United States as confirmed cases count keeps on increasing. The Brazilian sniper realizes that his tenants are at an economic meltdown situation and stopping their monthly rents until Brazil recovers from this peril, as of late over 2000 confirmed cases of coronavirus has emerged in the Latin nation.

Glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone that lets you pick up guns in Gulag

0

So, Gulag is basically the place where you end up after dying for the very first time. You then fight for a chance to get back to the battle once again, but if you die again in Gulag then your game is pretty much over. Each fight is a one on one with another player who has been defeated in the battlefield. You also get the chance to watch other players fighting as you wait for your turn to come.

Some rules in Gulag:

  • Your health will not regenerate at any point of time
  • Random load out
  • 40 seconds for each round
  • If both players manage to stay alive for 40 seconds, the fight will enter overtime
  • The winner gets a chance to be back on the battlefield

So what happened was, one of the players was able to come across a pile of weapons in his end of Gulag. A warzone player “Kasperinoz” posted a clip on Reddit showing this bug. After waiting for a while in the observation deck, he spawned in the 1v1 arena and noticed $300 cash with guns like 680 shotgun and green-level MP7 lying in the corner and this was not supposed to happen in a place like Gulag. Both the guns seemed good to be used, so he quickly picked them up.

It’s very confusing if that was a bug or a new feature added by Infinity Ward. For those who are unaware, Gulag is a visitable place on the Warzone map, located in the lowest level of the Prison. This bug can easily let you win a 1v1 as you will be having a much better gun as compared to your opponents who will be probably holding a pistol in their hands. It will be interesting to see when this bug gets patched by Infinity Ward as it can hugely impact the upcoming competitive matches in Twitch Rivals and Warzone Wednesday.

New Valorant Agent Sage revealed

0

Sage’s motto line being “I’m both the shield and the sword”, we see Sage in action with her abilities and combat mechanics in this latest gameplay teaser that was recently released by Riot.

Every Valorant character, ability and ultimate explained | Dexerto

The character “Sage” in Riot’s Valorant can do both, healing for the allies and dishing out damage to her enemies. She is clearly a combination of Mei, Mercy, and Moira while having abilities like ice wall, healing orb and resurrect.

Wherever Sages goes, she has the capability to create safety for herself and her allies on the battlefield. She is someone who can take complete control of a team fight and provide both support to his team or become a nuisance for the opponents. Chances are that she might be the only “HEALING” character in Valorant, but can also deal a good amount of damage.

Let’s breakdown the teaser clip for you guys. We can see Sage healing her friendly unit Jett over the time when she throws out a healing orb towards Jett. On hearing enemy footsteps, Sage uses her slowing orb(greenish glowing sea sort of) and secures a kill on the enemy with her sidearm.

In Overwatch, we see the healers standing at the back and healing the team but Sage can take initiative despite being a healer. She can charge her barrier orb to cut off enemies from an objective. In the video, we see Sage climbing the wall, crouching, peaking and then catching Phoneix & Cypher off guard while pulling her trigger to win the round for her team.

The only ability that wasn’t shown in this teaser clip was her ultimate “Resurrection”, possibly the most overpowered ability in the game. With her ultimate, she can bring a dead ally back to life after a short duration of time. Valorant’s beta will be coming in the next few months while the game is set to be released this summer. Do let us know if you enjoyed the teaser gameplay or not via the poll.

Finnish CS:GO Player Jamppi Sues Valve Over Alleged VAC Ban

Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen is a talented AWPer from Finland. 18-year-old was under OG’s radar in late 2019 as the organization was about to establish its presence in the Counter-Strike scene. However, the deal didn’t come to fruition since the player was denied attendance at Valve sponsored majors due to the alleged Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) ban. OG later went ahead with Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski over the Finn. The teenager is suing Valve Corporation over alleged damages derived through a connection to a VAC-banned account that seized him from signing with OG, according to a report by DBLTAP.

The lawsuit suggests that the petitioner had purchased a second copy of CS:GO in 2015 for his friend to play alongside at a LAN party. However, then 14-year-old Elias sold that account to a friend and later, it was VAC-banned. The lawsuit further revealed that the game developers have allegedly conveyed to the petitioner that his ban shall remain intact and the latter will not be allowed to participate at Valve sponsored events. At some point in time, the petitioner’s queries were not answered, or rather ignored by Valve Corporation, it alleged.

This is an unprecedented move at first. While others that have been banned in the past due to match-fixing or VAC ban, have either sustained at non-major events or shifted to other esports titles. This, however, remains unclear whether the lawsuit has any locus standi to drag the developers to the court. Prima facia this seems highly uncertain while Valve is yet to file its response. Elias is an aspiring professional player who has played under several organizations including SJ Gaming, SuperJymy, and Team Viral among others.

PUBG Mobile: ScoutOP benched by Fnatic for Quarantine Cup after toxic comments against Bhishma

8

It all started today in the afternoon on Scout’s live stream on his personal YouTube channel where he was playing a scrim match in the Sanhok map. All the big teams from PUBG Mobile India were also in the same lobby as team Fnatic. Scout was the IGL in that game. So what happened was that team Fnatic hot dropped in Bootcamp followed by Team U-Mumba.

After some trades, when Scout decided to move in from a flanking position, he got knocked down by UMERxN Bhishma. FNC Ronak came in to revive Scout. During this time, Scout was telling his teammates to give him back up from the backside but somehow one of the players from team U-Mumba were able to finish the kill on Scout. FNC Ash was able to takedown & get a kill on Bhishma but Team Fnatic eventually lost that fight in Bootcamp.

This really angered Scout who first started blaming his teammates for not providing him with proper support & then he started abusing UMERxN Bhishma. He said on stream pointing towards Bhishma and entire U Mumba esports that “Tumhe PMPL mai dekh lunga!”. Scout made several toxic remarks about entire U Mumba esports and how they will get disbanded after PMPL due to the lack of sponsors. Bhishma was the main guy on his radar on which he made several other personal comments as well.

So after all this Bhishma got a lot of toxic messages on his Instagram handle where Scout’s fans were found abusing Bhishma and even his mom. (Pretty lame right?)

All the members from team Fnatic (Owais, Paritosh, Ash, Aurum, Ronak, Franky) and even Fnatic’s India Head Nemo shared an image on their story from Fnatic’s PUBG Mobile official Instagram handle where they mentioned, “Fnatic does not support toxicity. We are sorry on behalf of ScoutOp. We will take necessary actions on this. Please stop the hate messages to Bhishma”

A clip from Scout’s live stream also went viral where he was on a phone call and a comparison between his, Bhishma & U Mumba esports scenario and the controversy of C9’s Sixless was initiated by the person on the other side of the call. Scout got mad when this happened and told the person to not compare this controversy with that of Sixless’s. ScoutOp confessed several times during this phone call that he had said sorry to Bhishma. He even requested his fans and the audience at the time of the live stream to not spread hate towards Bhishma.

The end result? Well, Fnatic has declared that they have benched ScoutOP for the rest of the Pro Scrim Invitational Quarantine Cup, however, he will still play in the starting lineup for the remainder of PMPL. This decision made by an org like Fnatic shows that they will not support any kind of toxicity even if it comes from a star player of their PUBG Mobile team like ScoutOP. Do you think they made the right decision?
