AORUS India launches Team Up, Fight Corona campaign for Gamers

AORUS, a subsidiary brand of Gigabyte which caters to the exclusive needs of gamers has officially joined the fight against COVID-19 in India. Taking inspiration from its tag line, ‘Team-Up. Fight On,’ AORUS has decided to launch the Team Up, Fight Corona campaign. The main idea of the campaign is to promote self-isolation and social distancing among the Indian gaming youth in a drive to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Marketing Manager of AORUS, Sashank Bhandaru said, “We are thinking ahead and making sure we have the best plans in place to help protect our community as their health and safety is our number one priority. This time around we need to come together as a community but virtually. And precisely that is the objective of conducting the online event to keep the youngsters’ energies channelized while they are at home during this lock down.” “Staying present, being responsible is the key. A perfect way to keep the boredom away, we will be hosting a number of events open for participation for everyone who wants to keep the adrenaline rush going and win some amazing cash prizes,” he added further.

AORUS has set up multiple online gaming events featuring popular titles like CS:GO, Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, Apex Legends and PUBG Lite. All the information regarding the events and their registration portals can be found on AROUS’s website. All these events have been arranged in an effort to keep the energy of the youths channeled and make their time under lock down a bit more fun and engaging. The events are going to be telecast LIVE on AORUS India’s facebook page.

On top of that, AORUS has also arranged for a PUBG streamers invitational event to raise funds for the fight against COVID-19. The event will go live on 3rd April at 6 pm IST. Some of the invited streamers include big names such as Shreeman Legend Live, Rakazone, Hydraflick, Gareebooo, Ankita c, and Mysterious YT. All the invited streamers will be streaming the event live on their respective YouTube channels. The participating streamers will be contributing all of their earnings from the event along with a generous donation of INR 1,00,000 from AORUS’s side for the cause.

AORUS has also come in line for the first time in setting up an online cosplay competition on 12th April, along with the above-mentioned events. The prize pool for the event is a massive INR 50,000. All the participants are to use the following hashtags for the event: #TeamUpFightCorONa #GamersForHumanity.
