Riot Games is pulling the VCT Team Capsules from the Valorant store on 11 November, and for Global Esports supporters this is the final chance to buy their team’s in-game bundle.
The official VALORANT Champions Tour account set the cut-off on 4 November, saying the capsules leave the store worldwide at 10am Pacific Time. Its graphic, headed “TEAM CAPSULES LEAVING SOON”, shows LOUD’s green and black Classic skin alongside the matching gun buddy.
Because US clocks went back on 1 November, that deadline falls at 18:00 UTC on Wednesday 11 November. For fans elsewhere, it works out to 19:00 CET in central Europe, 23:30 IST in India and 03:00 on Thursday 12 November in Seoul and Tokyo. Global Esports quote-posted the announcement a few hours later with a much blunter message for its fans. “Truly the last time you can buy the GE Bundle, ever,” the Indian organisation wrote, before telling supporters to get theirs while they still can.
Why the GE bundle will not return in 2027
In GE’s case, the word “ever” is meant literally. Founder and CEO Rushindra Sinha posted a farewell video on 19 October, and the organisation then released its entire Valorant roster as it closed its competitive operations.
The timing still stings, because GE had only just won VCT Pacific Stage 2 in Busan in September with a 3-2 reverse sweep of Nongshim RedForce. Sinha has said the brand will carry on as GE Studios, an AI-focused venture, rather than as an esports team.
GE was also missing when Riot introduced its 32 partner teams for 2027 on 22 October, with eight in each of the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China. The Pacific eight are Crazy Raccoon, FULL SENSE, GAM Esports, Gen.G, Paper Rex, Rex Regum Qeon, T1 and ZETA DIVISION.

That list matters for capsule sales, because Riot’s announcement ties digital goods directly to partnership. Partners, it says, can earn extra revenue from in-game items such as Team and Season Capsules and the Championship bundle, on top of their annual financial support.
Riot has not said whether teams outside the programme will get capsules of their own. That question now hangs over several organisations that lost partner status, including long-time partners Cloud9, FURIA, NAVI and KIWOOM DRX, none of which appears on Riot’s 2027 list.
How much team capsules have been worth to VCT teams
Riot first shared digital goods money with teams in February 2023, when the VCT LOCK//IN capsule split half of its net proceeds among the partner teams. That collection, built around the Misericórdia knife, was on sale only from 8 February to 7 March. Team-specific capsules followed on 21 February 2024, launching alongside patch 8.03. Riot’s launch post listed a team-themed Classic, a player card designed with each team, a gun buddy and a spray, with teams earning 50% of profits from their own capsules.
Riot has refreshed the line every season since then, although the percentage has not been repeated. The 2025 capsules added a Classic upgrade, an Achievement Tracker inspect and a new player card, and that post simply said a portion of proceeds would go to the organisations.
The 2026 capsules went live on 13 January with an updated Classic, an achievements tracker inspect, an animated player card, a spray and a gun buddy. Each one costs 2,320 VP, or 1,650 VP for players who already own that team’s 2024 or 2025 capsule. The money behind those skins is substantial for the teams involved. In that January post, Riot said it shared $100M with VCT teams in 2025, and its April outline of VCT 2027 put the digital goods portion of those payouts at more than $86M.
For comparison, Riot has promised total prize pools of more than $6M a year once the new tournament model starts in 2027. On those figures, digital goods paid teams roughly 14 times the prize money that the whole circuit will offer each season.
Riot’s April overview of VCT 2027 said partners would still receive a guaranteed base payment, a performance bonus, team capsules and direct seeding into later qualifier rounds. Open teams get a different deal under rules that Riot set out in June. Under those rules, a non-partner team earns $100,000 for reaching a Kickoff or a Cup, $200,000 for Masters and $400,000 for Champions. Riot has not yet announced designs, prices or a release date for any 2027 team capsules.
