The Indian Valorant scene is going to begin in 2021 with a bang, with the ESPL Valorant PowerUp event boasting of a prize pool of 750,000 INR lined up for the Indian region.
The second phase of ESPL Valorant Power Up India qualifiers are all set to start from 14th Of January until the 19th. Here are the steps and details to sign up for the same.
1. Visit espl.gg/india and create an account by hitting Sign up.
> Once you’re done with the above, click on the “Join” button.
> It will prompt you to verify your Email ID. (Please note : Do check your Spam or Important folders if the verification email doesn’t show up)
2. Update your ESPL Passport details
> Login to your account and click the profile in top right corner
> In the Passport Details Settings, update the same with your contact number.
> After this, scroll down and select the “Add social Network”. Over here, you need to select “Discord” from the drop down and enter your Discord ID in the Link Input.
> In the same fashion, select Valorant from the Social Network drop down and update “Link Input Text” with your Valorant ID.
3. Create your team.
> Move to the top right and click on your profile.
> From there, select teams
> Press on “Create a team”
> Make sure you have 5 players who have finalized your roster.
The option “Select the game” would totally be your choice as you will be the one to decide what games you would want to compete at with your current roster.
Don’t have a team? Looking for players?
> Click on the Team Finder on the Home Page.
> Hit “Find team to join”
> Before searching for a team, update the game filter with “Valorant”, along with it you may also select your country , language and the role you want to fill in for the squad.
> Scroll through the list with the relevant filters then click “Request to join” when you find a team you’d like to apply to.
> Or you can click on the “Create a team recruitment post” and make sure to fill out your desired role, language and others via the filter option.
5. Joining the Tournament (https://espl.gg/tournament/2343378)
- Click on “ESPL TOURNAMENTS” on the navigation bar
- Find the tournament you’d like to join and click the name of the tournament
- Click “JOIN THIS TOURNAMENT”
- Wait for the tournament admin to approve your application
- To check your approval status, do check out for your team on the Participants tab.
(Note: To join a tournament, you must be an admin/leader of the team )
