PUBG Mobile global version has somehow resurfaced in India and is now fully functional. The game is yet to be officially launch in India with a new localized version but PUBG Mobile global version which was rendered inoperative in India since the Tencent shut down for the region is now fully working for some users.
XDA Developers’ senior writer Tushar Mehta was the first one to spot this mysterious thing. In his tweet, he posted a video in which he launched the game and even confirmed the date and time and PUBG Mobile global version was completely working for him.
He even played a match of deathmatch to prove the authenticity of his video. Several users posted affirmative comments on the thread to validate the fact that the game is actually working for some people. Others suggested that using a VPN would be a solution to this situation.
PUBG Mobile India is getting launched very soon and this version of the game is going to be different than the global version. If the game is still working in India, it raises the question about the claimed data transfer from the global to the Indian version. The game is officially coming back in India and these temporary fixes may cater to the needs but cannot be a permanent solution.
The official launch date for PUBG Mobile India is not out yet but since the game is coming, we recommend you to wait patiently for some time and not opt for any other means to enjoy the game.
