New James Bond Game Arriving By Hitman Maker

New James Bond game ‘Project 007’ announced by Hitman developers IO Interactive.

With the last James Bond movie with Daniel Craig arriving in 2021, it is prime time for the Danish developer to announce the game. The name ‘Project 007’ is still very much a work in progress like the game itself with no hints about a release date what so ever.

It can be assumed that the game drops along with the movie in 2021. The game will work with an original storyline with as few strings as possible attached to the movie or the novel.

IO Interactive is the perfect developer to work on the James Bond game, given their decade-long experience with spy and espionage games, notably Hitman, arguably the most successful series ever developed on that genre.

The James Bond movie studios MGM and Eon Productions are working with the developers for the new game. The game will be developed around IO’s proprietary game-engine called Glacier, dropping for both consoles and PCs.

“It’s true that once in a while, the stars do align in our industry; Creating an original Bond game is a monumental undertaking and I truly believe that IO Interactive, working closely with our creative partners at EON and MGM, can deliver something extremely special for our players and communities. Our passionate team is excited to unleash their creativity into the iconic James Bond universe and craft the most ambitious game in the history of our studio,” said IO CEO Hakan Abrak.

As explained by Abrak, developing such a game is a monumental task thus IO is recruiting talents from around the world to join the development team of the Bond game.
