HLTV and Thunderpick Team Up with New Social Partnership

0

The renowned esports platform Thunderpick has recently announced a new deal with CS: GO giants HLTV. Formerly known as Half-Life Television, the site is one of the most-visited for trusted information regarding Counter-Strike and the hugely popular esports scene that surrounds the game. For the biggest events, there are hundreds of thousands, or even millions of viewers, who tune in to watch the game.

It makes perfect sense for the modern crypto casino to connect with CS: GO and to provide them with a trusted gambling option with the sort of modern features most players of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive are looking for. HLTV is a massive platform with over 2 million subscribers across all its social media and newsletters and has become more than just a website, with its rankings becoming one of the most trusted metrics to put the players in order of their current standings. Even tournament users consider these rankings.

Thunddisplayas have already partnered with HLTV in recent years, and they have offered odds display on many of the Thunderpick markets, but this deal will take the partnership much further, especially when it comes to social, with the huge audience of HLTV being connected to the offerings of the esports gambling giant.

Now, in social posts regarding the CS: GO tournaments, rankings, and other information about this huge world of esports, Thunderpick will appear along with relevant betting information and options for people to back their esports teams and potentially make money while they stream their favorite players.

CS: GO events are hugely popular in esports betting, and Thunderpick has developed a reputation for offering more markets than many competitors and some of the best odds. The company also has many specific promotions when it comes to CS: GO tournaments, with offers including bet combo boosts, first map insurance, and even deposit matching to appeal to new customers.

This new partnership promises to help players to stay on top of the current markets and events, showing millions of HLTV viewers the options they have when it comes to the top matchups and the ways in which they can gamble on the CS: GO tournaments.

HLTV was founded over 20 years ago when Martin Rosenbaek, along with Per Lambaek, set out to host recordings of Counter-Strike 1.6, but there were plenty of opportunities for growth as news from the world of CS: GO would become one of the main sources of content as soon as it was released in 2010.

Unusually, HLTV has a huge impact on the community beyond just reporting on the game. For example, the site now provides a lot of statistics regarding the players of the esports Global Offensive game, and through their ranking system, they even award medals to players.

HLTV’s MVP (Most Valuable Player) and EVP (Exceptionally Valuable Player) medals are huge badges of honor at many of the CS: GO tournaments.

HLTV has also been used by Global Offensive to feed data regarding the tournaments that have taken place over the years in the history of CS: GO. There’s no denying that HLTV is such a huge figure when it comes to keeping this community going and helping with the popularity of CS: GO in general.

Now, with the partnership with Thunderpick, they can also provide more specific trusted gambling links to their customers and allow them to get even further involved with some of the tournaments they watch if they wish.

HLTV’s partnership with Thunderpick makes perfect sense when you consider the histories of both of these companies and the immense coverage of esports that is on offer on Thunderpick’s site.

Thunderpick has become known as one of the best options for gambling on esports of all varieties including CS: GO. The company launched back in 2017 and offers many different gaming options. As well as being one of the very best companies out there when it comes to esports gambling, they also have several casino games and betting on traditional sports.

All of this is facilitated by cryptocurrency, and those who are looking for a crypto gambling platform need to look no further than Thunderpick. This can add an extra level of security and anonymity for players as more and more people turn to cryptocurrency for both esports gambling and many other products and services.

Though we don’t know exactly how the partnership will play out in the future, it makes sense for Thunderpick and HLTV to be working together. As well as the social partnership, it is possible we could see specific events and offers as part of this partnership, and those who enjoy CS: GO and are interested in gambling on esports will be keeping their eyes peeled. We will see more when some of 2023’s huge events roll around.

Valorant 7.08 Patch Notes Revealed: Smoke Updates, Premier Queue Changes, & More

0

The highly anticipated Valorant 7.08 patch is here, ushering in a wave of interesting updates to Riot Games’ competitive shooter. Riot has already shared the detailed patch notes for the Valorant 7.08 update, allowing us to delve into the exciting changes introduced to the game ahead of the update’s official release.

Let’s take a look at everything you need to know about the Valorant 7.08 update.

Smoke Changes

The first and perhaps the most interesting change that the 7.08 update has brought with it is the change to smokes in Valorant. Moving forward, most smokes in the game will play a visual as well as an audio cue to inform players before they disappear. These cues are shown 1.5 seconds before the smokes fade, providing ample time for players to reposition themselves and helping them to not get caught off-guard.

Premier Updates

The Playoffs Tournament Queue time has been reduced to only 15 minutes instead of 1 hour. If players are unable to queue up and stay queued within the 15-minute window, their Premier team won’t be able to participate in the Tournament.

At the end of the waiting period, all queued teams are matched into evenly distributed brackets seeded by their Premier Scores.

Valorant 7.08 Patch Notes

Alongside the aforementioned changes, Valorant 7.08 also brings a bunch of other changes including bug fixes and QoL improvements that fans can check out in the official patch notes of the update. For your convenience, we have included the patch notes below:

GENERAL UPDATES

  • We made a slight adjustment to the rows of Agents you can select from at the bottom of the screen in order to make room for future Agents.

AGENT UPDATES

  • Smoke Visual Update
    • Some of the key smokes can manipulate the play space for a good chunk of time and we feel it is important to be able to make the right decisions in the moment. We’ve added audio and visual cues at the end of our longer lasting smokes to give you a bit of a heads up for when the smoke will disappear.
      • Smokes play an audio and visual cue 1.5 seconds before they are about to fade. The following Agents’ smokes have been affected:
        • Astra
        • Brimstone
        • Omen
  • Ability equipping sounds are no longer audible to your Allies.
    • Previously, the sound of you equipping abilities as certain Agents could be heard by allies that were very close to you. Hearing this audio was inconsistent with equipping guns, which are silent to allies, and resulted in confusion around if enemies were able to hear these sounds. We hope this change will make the rules around equipping gun and ability audio more consistent and make what can be heard by enemies easier to learn and understand.

PREMIER UPDATES

PREMIER PLAYOFFS TOURNAMENT QUEUE CHANGES

  • The Playoffs Tournament Queue is now only 15 minutes instead of 1 hour. If you don’t queue up and stay queued within the 15 minute window, your team will not be able to play in the Tournament.
  • At the end of the waiting period, all teams that are still in the queue will be matched at one time into evenly distributed brackets seeded by Premier Score.
  • This change ensures that having a better regular season record gives you a higher seeding in your tournament.

STORE UPDATES

  • Your Level Borders and Player Card collection UI is getting an upgrade! You’ll now be able to search, navigate, and equip your Level Borders and Player Cards using our grid UI.

BUG FIXES

AGENT

  • Deadlock
    • Annihilation (X) can no longer open Bind’s automatic doors from outside the teleporter rooms.
    • Annihilation (X) can no longer open Breeze’s Mid Chute trapdoor from below.
  • Neon
    • Fast Lane (C) now more reliably fully extends through Fracture’s A Door when cast from the outside, behaving the same as when used from inside A Hall.

GENERAL

  • Fixed a bug where the music would hitch/skip while loading into a map or the Range.
  • Fixed a bug where shooting range bots would not reset their hitbox position properly when respawning.

PLAYER BEHAVIOR

  • Fixed a bug so that you’ll receive the correct Ranked Rating penalties for disruptive behavior.

WEAPONS

  • Fixed a bug where killbanner audio was playing too quietly.

New Valorant Agent in-game screenshots leaked

0

Agent 24 is the last agent scheduled to be released by the end of this year. Riot revealed this upon the release of Episode 7 and since then they have managed to release an agent and a map just like they promised.

It was largely speculated that Agent 24 would likely be a Duelist and after the release of the likes of Gekko and Deadlock, a duelist would be a welcome change for fans. The new agent is likely on schedule and all set for a release in light of Riot dropping several teasers in the past few months hinting at the release before the year ends.

New Valorant Agent in-game screenshots leaked

The screenshot confirms his name to be ISO; the only other fact we know about him is that he is a duelist. While those are the only things we can say for sure, it will be tough to tell what abilities he will possess but given the hype around him, we might see him become the new meta when he arrives. Fans are hyped to have a new duelist since early 2022 and his addition will likely see certain changes to how teams play the game.

It is safe to assume that her kit will be packed with crazy abilities assuming the new agent is a duelist but teasers aren’t enough to make out what said abilities are. As of now, we can hold our horses till the end of the year to find out what the latest Duelist will look like.

Enigma Gaming Bids Farewell To Maxkash and Daljitsk

0

Enigma Gaming, one of the most prominent names in the Indian esports scene, has bid farewell to two of its long-standing Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) players, Daljit “Daljitsk” Singh and Akash “MaxKasH” Anandani. The departure of these two gaming stalwarts, who have been an integral part of the Enigma Gaming roster for the past two years, was announced via the organization’s official social media handles.

Enigma Gaming’s BGMI Roster Plans

Enigma Gaming’s surprising decision to part ways with two of its players has shocked the BGMI community. The announcement reads, “Thank you for everything, Daljit and Maxkash. You both have been an integral part of Enigma Gaming for the past 2 years, and we are very grateful for all your contributions. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a heavy heart that we bid you farewell. Good luck for the next chapter in your careers!”

This decision comes on the heels of Enigma Gaming’s recent lackluster performance in the highly-anticipated BGMI Masters Series Season 2, where they finished in a disheartening 15th position. Furthermore, their underwhelming performance continued in Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. The team, once considered a top contender, faced a premature exit from the Losers Bracket. The disappointment didn’t stop there; Enigma Gaming struggled to make a mark in various third-party tournaments.

Daljitsk and MaxKasH have been crucial parts of Enigma Gaming’s BGMI roster, who have demonstrated commendable skills and contributed to the team’s growth and success. With their departure, now the team only has Mohammed Owais “Owais” Lakhani and InfinityOP.

Enigma Gaming’s decision to part ways with these seasoned players is undoubtedly a difficult one but it is a strategic move to rebuild its roster stronger. Enigma Gaming will soon announce its future plans for the team. However, it does not appear to be the end of the organization’s BGMI esports stint.

New Valorant Mobile Leaks Reveal Agent MVP Animations, Map Training Modes, & More

0

Ever since the initial leaks hinting towards the launch of an official mobile port of Valorant came to surface, the upcoming Riot Games title has remained a heated topic of discussion within the game’s community. As the release of the highly anticipated title draws near, dataminers are finding more and more leaks that reveal some amazing new features potentially coming to the mobile version of Valorant at the time of its launch.

If you’re a mobile gamer eagerly waiting for the release of Valorant mobile, you might be interested to know more about all the new additions that the title will bring alongside it. In this article, we take a look at all the leaked gameplay features that are expected to be a part of Valorant mobile. Note that we’re only including the features that are not currently a part of the PC version of Valorant.

With that being said, let’s jump right into the list of new and exclusive features that we know about Valorant mobile so far:

Agent MVP Animations

The Chinese closed beta of Valorant mobile features unique MVP animations for every Agent in the game. The MVP animations in Valorant mobile play at the end of each match for the player who holds the most ACS (Average Combat Score) in that game.

The Agent MVP animations of Valorant Mobile closed beta have already been revealed on social media forums. Fans can check them out below:

Map Training Modes

Valorant mobile also provides built-in tools for players to be able to train their aim and map knowledge without them needing to hop onto a deathmatch. Using the map training modes, players can either practice their executes or try defending down a bombsite from Attackers to warm up or improve their aim.

Skin Loadouts

It’s not uncommon for avid Valorant players to create custom loadouts for their arsenal based on specific colors. However, if you get bored of a blue loadout and want to switch it to red, you have no other option than to select each gun individually from your collection and change its corresponding skin. The mobile version of Valorant fixes this issue completely with the implementation of skin loadout slots. Using this, players are able to keep multiple loadouts for their weapon skins at once, which they’re able to switch using a single click of their mouse.

The current version of the Valorant Mobile closed beta enables players to maintain up to five custom loadouts for their skins.

Revamped Training Range

Valorant Mobile features a revamped in-game practice range that appears to be an upgraded version of the Valorant PC practice range that we’re all familiar with. From the initial looks at the footage, the revamped training range in Valorant Mobile enables players to put up walls within the range to practice their peeks more effectively

.

Ability Guide Videos

The introduction of guide videos for all Agent abilities in Valorant Mobile’s beta version marks a significant enhancement over its PC counterpart. Unlike the PC version, where players rely solely on text explanations of Agent kits, the mobile version provides video guides for every Agent ability. This feature has been warmly received by the game’s community, as it greatly enriches the player experience by offering practical demonstrations of each ability’s functions.

This list covers most of the leaked features that we know so far to be a part of Valorant mobile.

Microsoft Xbox Mobile Store Coming in 2024: Report

0

While Xbox is a prominent figure in the gaming world, it hasn’t yet secured the top position. To achieve this, it’s crucial for the brand to tap into other lucrative gaming platforms, notably mobile gaming. A recent episode of the Iron Lords podcast, featuring industry insider Tom Warren, shed light on Microsoft’s potential plans for the mobile gaming realm. Warren hinted at the launch of an Xbox mobile gaming store, which could be unveiled as early as 2024.

The gaming community has been abuzz with Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. However, Warren believes that despite the completion of this acquisition, Xbox might not immediately integrate many of Activision Blizzard’s titles into the Game Pass.

Reportedly, there’s also anticipation around some older Call of Duty titles becoming available on the Xbox Game Pass soon. Interestingly, Warren clarified that it was Microsoft, not Activision, that resolved issues with the old 360 servers for Call of Duty.

Responding to speculations, Warren mentioned that he doesn’t foresee Activision Blizzard content being added to Game Pass in the immediate future. His choice of words suggests a more gradual integration approach, hinting at a strategic plan for incorporating these titles over time.

Twitch Launches Mobile-Only Stories Feature

0

These days, “Stories” has become a very popular feature on platforms like Instagram. While scrolling Stories and Reels getting more voguish among teenagers and millennials, Twitch’s decision to incorporate the Stories feature on its mobile platform is a testament to the feature’s success on other social media platforms.

Announced at TwitchCon Paris, Twitch’s Stories feature is currently in a phased rollout. Unlike the instantaneous Stories on other platforms, Twitch has set criteria for streamers wishing to use this feature. Streamers must have clocked in at least 45 minutes of streaming since September’s commencement. However, South Korea will not have access to this feature.

Additionally, Twitch introduces an exclusive twist: Sub-only stories. Streamers aiming to utilize this will need a minimum of 30 subscribers when the feature becomes available to them. This approach ensures that dedicated fans receive exclusive content, fostering a deeper connection between streamers and their audience.

While the Stories feature has seen immense success on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, its reception on Twitch remains to be seen. Given that Twitch has been a trendsetter in many aspects, it’s interesting to see them adopt a feature popularized by others. The platform’s recent decision to discontinue the Community Moments feature, due to its limited use, raises questions about the longevity of Stories on Twitch.

Intel Announces 14th Gen Desktop Processors with 24 Cores

0

Intel’s 14th Gen desktop processors, slated for release on October 17, promise enhanced speed and power efficiency compared to their predecessors. The lineup includes two variants: the K models with integrated GPUs and the more affordable KF models without graphics.

For users seeking slightly toned-down performance, Intel offers the Core i7-14700K/KF, which also features 24 cores and 28 threads but with a max speed of 5.6GHz. On the other hand, the Intel Core i5-14600K/KF, ideal for standard web browsing and gaming, comes with 14 cores, 20 threads, and a max clock speed of up to 5.3GHz.

The flagship of this series, the Intel Core i9-14900K/KF, boasts of being the world’s first processor to offer a boost clock speed of up to 6GHz right out of the box. This powerhouse has 24 CPU cores, 32 threads, and a 36MB L3 cache.

Features and Compatibility

Intel’s commitment to innovation is evident with the introduction of AI Assist in its Extreme Tuning Utility, facilitating AI-guided overclocking on select unlocked 14th Gen processors. Compatibility is also a highlight, with these CPUs working seamlessly with Intel 600- and 700-series motherboards. These motherboards offer optional support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 on the refreshed Z790 boards, ensuring users stay connected with the best technology.
