Tommy Fury vs KSI ended up with the young prodigious fighter ending out a narrow victory over the co-founder of PRIME but fans felt the scorecards should have favored the latter which caused an uproar and KSI’s camp to file an official appeal to get their scorecard reevaluated.

Within 24 hours of the release of scorecards, there has been a major change with the scores turned in by the Judges but not what you are probably guessing right now. As it stood before the change, the score from two of the three judges favoured Fury while the last judge considered the match a draw.

Following the score correction, the third judge believes that the score turned in had a mistake and believes a point should have gone Fury’s way thus resulting in a unanimous victory for Tommy Fury. While fans who watched the match live would like to incline towards KSI based on his performance in the ring, the scorecard indicates otherwise.

KSI previously dubbed this match as a “robbery” with his camp filing to get the scorecards evaluated, however, this recent change must have come as a shock.

The updated scores change the whole narrative, while many believe both the fighters were well matched, the judges are clearly going with Tommy Fury. KSI’s request for re-evaluation is yet to come to a conclusion and until then this will count as a landslide victory for the young fighter who is yet to taste defeat.

G2’s female Valorant team, popularly known as G2 Gozen became the only female roster to get invited to the Red Bull Home Ground Qualifier which the community believed could have exposed them to “sexist remarks”.

Sexism in cases like this is not an unprecedented occurrence. We previously reported sexism within the Valorant community where male pro players refuse to play matches with female pros. Being the only team in the event with a female roster, it was presumed that G2 Gozen would face sexism but the players assured that this wasn’t the case and everyone was very respectful towards them.

“At the end of the day, you have to play the best to become the best, and losing is no embarrassment to us as we are proud to compete and will make sure to be in our best shape for the upcoming Champions tournament,” said Mimi. “Sexist comments do not help the scene grow in the right direction!” she added.

Along with Mimi, other G2 Gozen players joined the train and revealed how they were treated respectfully. Despite losing, they reflected on the importance of the experience they garnered from this event and how it will help them prepare for the upcoming events.

KSI Claims Robbery in Controversial Loss to Tommy Fury

KSI vs Tommy Fury was the talk of the town for the past few months and finally, we have the PRIME cofounder taking a loss however fans feel that the result was unfair and KSI was “robbed”.

The fight attracted millions of viewers worldwide and the majority believed that the fight was rigged following controversial scores that favored Fury. Fans watching the match in the stadium and online claim that even though it was a close contest, KSI was the superior fighter and the scores should have favored him.

KSI himself has spoken up against the incident and believes that the scorecard was anything but fair.

“Robbery, it’s a robbery bro. How many jabs did you land? You weren’t landing. Look at your face, look at your eyes, look at you. I want to appeal. That is outrageous. I felt like I won that.” he said.

Besides the questionable scores, Fury has been accused of landing several illegal blows to KSI, especially on his head. Despite the fact that he was penalized after a round, his camp believes similar blows landed at KSI throughout the match and stronger action should have been taken against Tommy Fury during the game.

Fans have dubbed this the “worst match of the year” especially after two judges edged Fury out by a narrow margin while one judge believed they were tied. KSI pointed out that he clearly landed more punches and Fury’s condition after the match was enough to attest to that fact. He claims to have submitted an appeal but only time can tell what becomes of it.
