MSI India mounts with Nvidia says AMD Graphics cards are ‘subpar’

1

In an undesirable condition to invite a controversy, MSI India’s Facebook page managed to spark one by mentioning AMD cards are subpar with Nvidia.

Unknowingly, it was enough to become an international news. So much so that the official representatives had to delete the original comment and apologize for the shared views.

Nvidia is at the center of controversy since the announcement of their GeForce Partner Program. Multiple aired reports suggest their Partner Program violates consumer policies and encourages monopolistic trades. A different opinion from Nvidia projected this move as to ‘serve gamers better.’

OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturers are the companies who make the product which is further marketed by different manufacturers. In this case, MSI, an OEM for both Nvidia & AMD indulged into partiality against the latter.

It is, however, arguably that Nvidia products are indeed more powerful and sustainable than that of their rival AMD.

That apart, this is also not a good example of a professional representation of the company’s second-tier GPU branding, ARMOR, which still contains the Radeon GPU stack. It is also puzzling to note that the company’s the lewd remarks about the AMD brand appeared on MSI’s official page for over 24 hours. Attracting more hatred and international coverage from all across the journals.

In the defense of a larger aired controversy of the GeForce Partners Program, Nvidia had earlier mentioned their intentions to be transparent.

“The GeForce Partner Program is designed to ensure that gamers have full transparency into the GPU platform and software theyโ€™re being sold, and can confidently select products that carry the NVIDIA GeForce promise,” Nvidia wrote in a blog post.

Taco talks about his future

1

After getting benched from SK Gaming,ย Espacito โ€œTACOโ€ de Melo has provided some in-depth answers to fans on a Reddit AMA โ€“ including his plans for the future, and SKโ€™s plans following his departure.

TACO left SK Gaming on the evening of March 22. A few hours before that, flickshot.fr reported that the organization had started negotiations with Natus Vincere and reached a tender for a penalty for Simpl. Arseny ceh9 Trinozhenko said that for the contract of any player the team will have to pay about a million dollars. On 23 March, NaVi CEO Evgeniy Zolotaryov said that s1mple and flamie were still in the team. After that the founder flickshot.fr Guillaume neL Canelo said that SK had difficulties with selecting a player instead of TACO.

Despite the rumors which reported thatย two of the Naโ€™Vi players Aleksandr โ€œs1mpleโ€ Kostyliev and Egor โ€œflamieโ€ Vasilyev would be joining SK Gaming, although that was later quashed by the Naโ€™Vi CEO.

TACO revealed about his future plans in a Reddit AMA :

When asked about the negativity he received during his time with the SK roster, Taco said :

When asked about the future for the SK Gaming, TACO wrote :

“I still live in the house of SK Gaming, but I have no right to say what is happening there because it’s not part of the team anymore. I can only say that the comrades already have a substitute for me.”

What comes next for the 23-year-old Brazilian is unclear, but this AMA session really makes it feels like he is getting somewhat annoyed with being left at the curb.

As mentioned in the statement, he is currently listening to all offers from potential teams, and with his long list of top placements coupled with his veteran experience, he is sure to be an attractive prospect to numerous organizations.

Eternal Esports likely to release their CSGO division

2

In what could be one of the most anticipated moves of 2018 in the Indian CSGO fraternity, Eternal Esports has reportedly released their active lineup. The players have been asked to look out for ventures says our sources close to the organization.

Eternal Esports have been enroute a rough since their squad left the organization mid-way to form a new one.

While we had earlier predicted this move of Eternal opting out of the Indian scene and making their way to the International scene, their players would not have expected this to mature too soon.

The social handles of the players also suggest that something has been going severely wrong within the organization between the management and the players. Or, the change of plans by the owners of Eternal Esports may not have been addressed to the players in the correct way.

This move comes as a shocker for a reason that only a week ago, Eternal Gaming beat Ate Gaming in a best of five, to win GodsofGaming.

Although nothing seems to be officially out, we expect the responsible people to announce things officially. With the existing team scheduled to be let go, we’ll also be able to see where the new chapter will begin.

The fallout can also be confirmed as the facebook page of Eternal Esports no longer exists.

S1mple: “It’s not the time to leave the team”

1

After CEO Denying the rumors that s1mple and Egor flamie Vasiliev will be transferred to SK Gaming,ย Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev speaks about why he will not leave the team in theย “VKontakte” group.

s1mple says –ย

It’s not the time to leave the team, with the common goals set, my path is not over

For the first time, a possible transition of s1mple to SK was started on March 18: then the insider Don Haciย wroteย about it on Twitter.

On March 22, journalist Guillaume neL Canelo of Flickshot said that SK Gaming is close to agreeing with Naโ€™Vi about the transfer of s1mple and flamie. It was assumed that they would replace as part of the Epitacio TACO de Melo and Ricardo boltz Prassa. In the evening of the same day, TACO officially left the Brazilian team.

According to industry insiders, like Flickshotโ€™s โ€˜neLโ€™, SK Gaming considered a number of different options before settling on making an offer for s1mple.

neL states that s1mple then insisted on bringing flamie with him and this could have caused the contract difficulties. Or, perhaps Na`Viโ€™s CEO is just bending the truth a little.

Natus Vincere’s CEOย Yevhen Zolotarov has Made an Official Statement About the s1mple and flamie to SK Gaming Reports. The CEO Says that bothย s1mple and flamieย will not be joining up with the SK trio.

The announcement comes as a surprise to many as less than 24 hours have passed since the news of negotiations initially broke, and even less time since SKโ€™s Epitรกcio โ€˜TACOโ€™ de Melo officially left the team.

For the first time, a possible transition of s1mple to SK was started on March 18: then the insider Don Haci wrote about it on Twitter.

However, according to ceh9, the amount of NaVi’s buy-back is about one million dollars.

Na`Vi roster looks like –

Simple and flamie reportedly set to join SK

3

According to a report from ESPN Brazil, Fallen, Fer, and ColdZera this three players from SK Gamingย are set to join Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev andย Egor โ€˜Flamieโ€™ Vasilyev on a new team. The Players areย believed to be leaving the organization after their contracts expire.

Most recently, SK imploded at WESG, which the team had stated was the most important event on the calendar for them. Preceding WESG, Natus Vincere failed to qualify for ECS Season 5, following which both s1mple and flamie opted not to join their national squads in China.

However, SK Gamingย has not been able to win tournaments, and we have seen in the past thatย Fallenย always wants to make the best team possible. Despite being one of the best teams towards the end of 2016, they were not really winning tournaments. A roster change brought around a lot of success for the team.

“The odds of s1mple joining are almost 100 percent guaranteed,” the ESPN report claims. The report also mentions that Egor “flamie” Vasilyev may also be joining the roster, but it is currently uncertain due to the 21-year-old’s steep buyout with Na`Vi.

Immortals were quickly found to be the first probable organization the roster would join, particularly given its purchase of the rights to the MiBR (Made in Brazil) organization: the most prestigious Brazilian organization in CS history.

The thought of s1mple and coldzera on a team together is enough to get anybody excited, and when you throw in the likes of fer, FalleN, and flamie, you end up with the sort of firepower that makes FaZe Clan look rather tame.

oh, and wait, s1mple just tweeted this:

However, according to Dekay this is not yet 100% confirmed. The teams are still in negotiations and there are several other players being considered for the job.

If the talks are to be successful, the proposed line-up would look as follows:

  • ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทย Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
  • ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทย Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
  • ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทย Marcelo “cold” David
  • ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บย Egor “flamie” Vasilyev
  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆย Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev

But could this team actually work?

TACO set to leave SK Gaming

5

Epitacio “TACO” de Meloย announced on Twitter today that he is no longer part of SK Gaming’s roster.

โ€œA few weeks ago, I noticed I wasnโ€™t happy anymore,โ€ TACO said in his announcement. โ€œA few days ago, I decided to look for that same happiness I used to feel before playing, and I wasnโ€™t feeling that anymore, even though itโ€™d cost me the decision of leaving the team I helped succeed and turn into one of the best teams to play this game. During all this time, every second in the team I felt the outside pressure on me was always HEAVY and maybe this is one of the reasons why I came to this closure.โ€

He will be leaving his longtime teammatesย Gabriel โ€œFalleNโ€ Toledo, Fernando โ€œferโ€ Alvarenga, Marcelo โ€œcoldzeraโ€ David and Ricardo โ€œboltzโ€ Prassโ€“on the SK lineup. However, it’s been rumored that s1mple andย flamieย will be joining the SK trio.

Taco has guaranteed that he will continue to play and will update his fansย on his future in the next couple of days.

Official: Kinguin adds TaZ, MINISE to the roster

1

The ESEA squad of Kinguin had a revamp earlier this morning. As per the report by Flickshot.fr earlier this month, TaZ has been added to the active Kinguin roster, officially. The announcement was not made anywhere on the social networks. The ESEA team page of Kinguin reflects TaZ as their active player.

Only recently, TaZ was benched by Virtus.pro following complaints of underperformance. The Polish legend had tweeted he was feeling better than ever after being released from the roster. The team will be lead by rallenn.

The replacement for TaZ was chosen to be MICHU who was loaned by Kinguin to Virtus.pro. Ironically, both the players have been swapped by the rosters in question. Virtus.pro will be seen at V4 Sports Festival in the next week which will have mousesports, FaZe, and HellRaisers as participants.
