The reason for Soda’s ban is still unknown and he himself is also yet to release any official statement therefor we don’t know for a fact why Soda is banned or how long it might last.

But some fans have speculated a controversial clip from earlier this week that might be the why Soda was banned for the 2nd ban. In the clip, we see Soda putting makeup on a character and utter the word “Blackface”. Many believe this to be the reason behind Soda’s recent Twitch ban.

Forsen gets a month-long PUBG ban

0

Forsen is one of the most popular Twitch streamer who racks up thousands of viewers in every stream. Even though PUBG isn’t as popular as it used to be few years back, Forsen manages to maintain a healthy viewership every time he streams.

In his latest stream, “You have been banned! You have been banned from PUBG until 2022-05-15 due to abusing. Please visit Support for more information.” message popped up on his screen as soon as he logged in.

Forsen was surprised but wasn’t angry, he took it well and later realized that the ban will soon be lifted, which means he may not have to serve a full month-long ban.

The Swedish streamer laughed at the message then decided to play something else which is when he turned to Counter Strike, and played competitive mode for the rest of the day.

It is unclear, when exactly the ban will be lifted, and whether he will continue to play the game afterwards. Forsen was previously banned from the game, but was quickly lifted, hopefully, his current ban will follow suit.

Riot Games apologizes for “mistake” amid Sinatraa investigation

0

Days after Sinatraa showed interest in returning to competitive Valorant, the former Sentinels player revealed in one of his tweets that he skipped a portion of his behavioral training with Riot Games. In a follow-up, Riot Games have retracted its statement after calling it a mistake.

Jay “Sinatraa” Won has decided to make a comeback to VALORANT’s competitive play after he was suspended by the Riot officials for not cooperating with their investigation. Sinatraa was accused of sexual misconduct by his girlfriend Cleo Hernandez who made allegations and posted out an audio clip that indeed confirmed some part of it.

An investigation was then held under the direction of Riot to which Sinatraa never cooperated to the satisfaction of the former and did make some false statements upon being questioned. This did result in the 22-year-old player being suspended from competitive play for a period of six months.

“Sinatraa will be suspended for six months, with time served meaning he will be able to return to the game on 10th September, under the condition that he completes “complete professional conduct training”, read the verdict on Riot’s website.

Sinatraa’s desire to get back in the game indeed sparked a controversy in the community where some were against his decision while the rest laid out a warm welcome back.

However, he was cleared by Riot in January to be able to compete back in the game although Sinatraa never completed his conduct training and was put off the later as a Riot employee felt, Sinatraa would have known the reminder of the details which were to be covered under the traning.

With the above having been tweeted, a sudden backslash from the community indeed erupted against Riot and the Sentinels player, accusing the former for their actions.

John Needham, President of Esports at Riot Games stated that the Competitive operations teams were unaware of the fact that Sinatraa was cleared to compete back and was let off from his training mid-way.

“We have informed Mr Won that contrary to that communication, and in accordance with the competitive ruling, he is required to undergo professional conduct training.

“The training will focus on conducting oneself as a professional, complying with rules and regulations, and complying with investigations,” continued Mr Needham.

Krafton launches BGMI anti-cheat tool called BAC ahead of BMOC 2022

The esports season of Battlegrounds Mobile India has started as many teams are currently fighting in BMOC online qualifiers while invited teams are battling it out in The Grind. Krafton has launched a new anti-cheat tool called BAC to prevent any sort of cheating attempt in the official events.

PUBG Mobile tournaments were plagued with hackers and has had its fair share of hackers in the past. After the arrival of BGMI, there was again an influx of hackers in classic lobbies and fortunately it has not reached competitive segment yet.

As Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge 2022 is already around the corner, the game developers have launched an anti-cheat tool called as BAC. The BAC application will be running in the background of the participants’ devices as they play matches during the tournament.

An additional layer of security is added with this application as it will record the entirety of matches from each player’s point of view. A player will need to submit a live selfie before and after every match to make sure that every participant is legitimate.

To setup the BAC tool, players need to provide their date of birth and provide a ton of application permissions such as media and storage access, microphone access and camera access as well.

Each player will login to the BAC app with the provided login ID and password. Afterwards, they will need to click a “selfie” and then upload it. This application will run in background to monitor any kind of suspicious act.

The Grind is currently underway and as soon as it ends, the main event of BMOC will start with a blend of qualified teams and invited ones. This event will be the first place where BAC will be employed.

As revealed by prominent Valorant leaker ‘ValorLeaks’, ”The Battlepass is back with some pearlescent, cybernetic, and tactically-themed skins plus plenty of other eye-catching cosmetics ready to be earned.”

Best GTA San Andreas Mods to try out in 2022

0

GTA San Andreas is undoubtedly the most popular GTA series game after GTA V and GTA Online. First released in 2004 and remastered in 2021, GTA San Andreas still boasts an active player population of more than a hundred thousand players worldwide.

For a singleplayer only game released almost 18years ago, the player count confirms just how much popular the game was in the franchise.

With the release of the definitive edition last year, Rockstar brought the game to today’s standards with inclusion of a new generation game engine, reworked graphics and much more. The release further boosted the player count and also brought a new life to the modding scene of the game.

Today we are going to take about some “Must Try” mods for GTA San Andreas. Before we start, remember that all the mods mentioned in the article are compatible with the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition and may work with GTA 3 and GTA Vice City also.

1. All Radio Songs Restored

Essentially the most important mod on the list today. This mod will restore all the radio songs that were cut off from GTA San Andreas with the release of Definitive Editon. Rockstar had warned about cutting off some old songs due to licensing issues.

All Radio Songs Restored is a mod specially designed to restore all the old radio songs that were removed from the latest release of the game. The modder claims that all radio songs from GTA San Andreas have been restored to the 2004 version. Alongside GTA San Andreas, the modder has also provided files for GTA 3 and some FM stations.

Check out the mod here- https://www.nexusmods.com/grandtheftautothetrilogy/mods/91

2. The Uncompressed Sounds of Grand Theft Auto

A simple mod that restores high-quality and uncompressed sound effects heard across all the games in GTA Trilogy. While we call this mod simple, it is simply an amazing piece of work that brings the sound effects of the games to today’s standard.

It is amazing how Rockstar just forgot that a “Definitive Edition” must also improve on the sound effects of the games. But guess what, they totally shipped the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition with compressed audio files meaning the sound effects were not crisp and sounded muffled.

This mod works for all 3 games in the trilogy and also restores some radio stations for GTA San Andreas (the first mod above works better for radios). From menu sounds to sirens and ambient audio, this mod touches upon almost every audio source in the game and replaces them with a higher quality uncompressed version.

3. GTA SA – Project Revitalized – The Definitive Edition

An engine extension plus engine tweak for the definitive edition of GTA San Andreas. This mod is basically a reshade fork that the mod maker specially tuned for GTA San Andreas. The mod adds more graphical options to the game engine and tweaks the values of the various options already present in the game.

Since the definitive edition was remastered on Unreal Engine 4, the game’s engine is extremely customizable and can be tweaked for higher graphical settings.

This mod adds a new sharpen filter to the game, as well as increases the shadow resolution, and tweaks many lightning and FX values of the game. The modder has also included a special add-on to the mod download page which includes enhanced 4k textures, realistic rain, and an enhanced reshade profile.

4. Simple Reticle

Just as the name suggests, this mod replaces the old weapon reticle with Dot. That’s all.

GTA Trilogy Definitive Editon comes with the same old and ugly reticle that uses too much screen space hiding some important stuff. This mod replaces that old reticle with a simple Dot which is opaque and doesn’t take much space. Plus this mod makes the reticle static, meaning the reticle won’t change its size as you fire your weapon.

5. GTA SA- Project Texture Overhaul

Project Texture Overhaul replaces many textures in the definitive edition of the game with real 2K and 4K resolution textures.

Almost all the textures present in the definitive edition of the San Andreas are upscaled versions of the old mobile textures of the game. Since the mobile textures were of lower poly count and resolution, many of the upscaled textures looked horrible and blurred.

With Project Texture Overhaul, the modder aims to recreate many of these horrible upscaled textures and replace them with real 4K and 2K resolution options. The new textures added by this mod are extremely sharp and clear. This mod is a must-have for anyone starting the game today and should always keep them installed.

Cyberpunk 2077 First Expansion Now Releasing in 2023

0

CD Projekt Red recently announced a change in plans for the release of Cyberpunk 2077’s first expansion. In its recent earnings calls, the developer announced that the first expansion of its sci-fi action RPG will be pushed back to 2023.

The studio will reprioritize its content roadmap for the game to include more quality content while also placing greater emphasis on development team working conditions. The studio’s President, Adam Kicinski, revealed this during the studio’s earnings call on 14th April 2022. Kicinski said:

“We want to keep growing and operate more effectively – thus, we’ve set out to improve our development and communications processes while also placing greater emphasis on our team.”

“As part of the RED 2.0 transformation initiative, we’re gradually introducing our developers to the Agile work model. While much remains to be done, we can already see positive effects brought about by these changes,” Kicinski stated.

Since the initial release of the game in 2020, the studio had fully moved its focus on improving the game and releasing significant patches to resolve many issues plaguing the players.

The latest patch 1.5 included a list of massive changes that brought a considerable QOL improvements on all platforms and next-generation graphical updates for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles. The game currently sits in a very good spot with all performance issues gone and almost all game breaking bugs and issues resolved.

The recent announcement also puts emphasis on maintaining the quality of the game and while also providing more time to the team on developing the content this year. Additionally the team will also provide extensive support this year which means a number of smaller patches will be coming this year fixing other issues with the game.

Many Cyberpunk fans weren’t happy with this announcement, as many cited that it’s almost 2 years since the launch of the game and no content update has shipped yet. Waiting another year for a new content update is too long for some.

Some also argued that rushing the DLC will put pressure on the dev team and result in a broken release like the initial launch. The extra time given towards developing the content would allow the studio to polish the game and present a stable expansion to the public.

Alongside the working on Cyberpunk 2077, the studio is also working on new Witcher content, including a rework of the game on Unreal Engine 5. Additional support for related mobile games and the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Furthermore, they’ve teased that they’re working on “conceptual and research work” for a few original IPs planned for the studio.
