The release of the heavily anticipated Apex Legends Season 13 is just around the corner, and with Season 12 coming to a conclusion, more and more players are looking to find out what Season 13 will bring to the shooter.

While the official patch notes of the season 13 update haven’t been revealed by the developers, we’ve seen several leaks in the past that can help us get a decent idea of what’s to come in Apex Legends season 13.

Apex Legends Season 13 Release Date

The release date of Apex Legends season 13 hasn’t been confirmed by Respawn Entertainment as of yet, but from the past seasons’ release patterns, we can identify when the new season will hit the live servers.

Fans can expect Apex Legends season 13 to arrive on 10th May 2022, the same date as the end of Apex Legends season 12.

Apex Legends Season 13 Leaks

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen several leaks surfacing online that give us an idea of what to expect from the season 13 update in Apex Legends. For starters, the upcoming Legend, Newcastle, has already been leaked by Dataminers, and it’s set to be a support character who will arrive to the title alongside the season 13 update. 

Two new game modes titled FreeDM and Killing Spree have also been leaked online. These game modes are likely to be a part of the limited-time maps that season 13 will bring to the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard Season 3 Release date announced

Activision today released a short teaser for the upcoming Season 3. While the teaser trailer didn’t reveal much about the upcoming update, the publisher did reveal that the upcoming season will start on April 27th.

The current ongoing season 2 will be ending just a day before the release of season 3 i.e. 26th April. While Activision has not officially announced the Season 2 end date, as per the countdown mentioned in the Warzone Pacific battle pass section, it should be ending on April 26.

Players are eagerly waiting for Season 3 to drop as it is expected to bring changes to Caldera Map, sniper nerfs, and make adjustments to the weapons across the board to shift from the current sniper meta. The sniper nerf was already confirmed by Ted Timmins the Senior Creative Director during his interview with the Baka Bros. he said, “We do plan a meta shift for Snipers in Season 3. I think we would all agree it’s long overdue. The Sniper meta hasn’t changed in what feels like forever, so I feel really good about where we’re going with that.”

Other than this no other information has been shared publicly by Activision. But from the teaser, we know that the theme of next season is “Classified Arms”. Season 3 will feature a storyline that will connect to the Nebula bombs introduced in season 2.

The teaser starts with Task Force Happy fighting against Nazi forces in Caldera. Right after clearing the area of Nazi forces, Task Force Happy “uncovered a device broadcasting a mysterious frequency from the cache.”

While the update is still 2 weeks away, we will be getting more news about the additions and storyline of season 3 in the coming days. Activision will slowly drip-feed information about the season 3 theme to keep players engaged in wild theories about the mysterious sounds coming from the radio device.

Riot’s VALORANT has been a resounding success ever since its launch in early 2020 with the first-person tactical shooter constantly scaling new heights, be it weapon cosmetic or meta wise including map changes, agent buffs and nerfs followed by a plethora of additional content being promoted by the game developers.

The VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 did reveal a series of data highlighting new lore around its roster of Agents most importantly, their IRL names. As we all know, Agents in VALORANT are called on the basis of their call signs but somewhere there’s a mysterious person who has been ratting out agents and their real names in a bid to expose their royal protocol inside the game.

A set of documents rumored as the “dossiers” have been added to the main server as a part of the Patch 4.04, which have been updated in the Public Beta Environment, revealing the names of several agents which can be located across locations over the five playable maps.

All Teams Qualified for PGL Antwerp CSGO Major

CSGO Majors are back on the menu and the fans couldn’t be more excited. After getting a breathtaking CSGO Major in the form of PGL Stockholm 2021, which broke all viewership records, Valve went back to their policy of 2 CSGO Majors a year. The first of these will be PGL Antwerp Major which will kick off from 9th May 2022 and run until 22nd May 2022.

Much like the last CSGO Major, there will be 24 teams in attendance at PGL Antwerp. 

8 teams will qualify as Legends, 8 as Challengers and 8 as Contenders. Based on the results from the previous CSGO Major – PGL Stockholm, the slot distribution in the different stages is as follows:

  • LEGENDS – 7 Europe & 1 Americas
  • CHALLENGERS – 6 Europe & 2 Americas
  • CONTENDERS – 3 Europe, 3 Americas & 2 Asia-Pacific

As per the format, a limited number of teams will be invited to the RMR tournaments while the rest will have to qualify through open qualifiers.

The prize pool of PGL Antwerp is back to $1 million, after being $2 million for PGL Stockholm 2021. Stockholm had a bigger prize pool as CSGO Majors were returning after more than 2 years. The winner of PGL Antwerp will take home $500,000 in prize money.

PGL is also responsible for hosting the RMR events for PGL Antwerp,on LAN. Regional Major Rankings or RMR events are the only way possible now, for teams to qualify for the next Major. There are no direct invites for any of the teams to the Major and even the defending champions Natus Vincere will need to qualify through the RMR.

The first stage of the RMR kicked off on Monday with PGL Antwerp Major Americas RMR taking place first. There are 6 spots up for grabs for the Americas, for which 16 teams will be locking horns. The top 6 will confirm their spot at the Major while the remaining ones will be knocked out. 

Because of only 1 North American team making it to the Champions Stage of the previous Major (FURIA), Americas will have only 1 Legends spot. There will be 2 challenger and 3 contender spots for the Antwerp CSGO Major.

As things stand, FURIA and MIBR have already booked their spot at PGL Antwerp after going 3-0 on the first 2 days. The two Brazilian teams will compete against each other for one final time to determine which of them will be going to PGL Antwerp as Legends, as only the team placing 1st at the PGL Antwerp Americas RMR has a legends spot.

There are 4 more spots up for grabs which will be determined in the next 2 days.

PGL Antwerp Major Asia Pacific RMR will take place on 15-16th April 2022 with 4 teams competing for the 2 contender spots.

Since Europe has 16 spots at the Major, there will be 2 RMS for the European side of things, termed as Europe RMR  A and B.

EUROPE A RMR:  Top 4 – Legend Status, Places 5-6 – Challengers and Places 7-8 – Contenders.

EUROPE B RMR: Top 3 teams will get Legend Status, 4-7 as Challengers and 8th place will get Contender status. Rest will be eliminated.

CSGO is no stranger to new cheats, hacks and other exploits. The hit and miss nature of the  Valve anti-cheat – VAC is one of the few drawbacks of this game, which is otherwise a joy to play for the most part. CSGO wallhacks, aimbots and triggerbots are now quite common, especially in high rank matchmaking. Other niche hacks may include anti aim or fake lag cheats.

A new type of cheat, which hadn’t been seen for quite some time has resurfaced again. If this is a new cheat or just the return of an old exploit, is still unknown since not a lot of users faced this. One reddit user, u/pinhorox did experience this exploit, which left them baffled as to what this was.

The clip was posted to reddit, and users quickly responded saying this was an old exploit that was seen years ago but had gone missing in recent times. So what is the instant bomb exploding cheat?

CSGO INSTANT BOMB EXPLOSION

In a competitive CSGO match, or even casual and demolition modes for that matter – the main objective is to plant the bomb on one of the two sites A or B. The terrorists must plant the bomb and let it detonate, while the CTs will try to defuse the bomb. 

Once the bomb is planted, there are 40 seconds on the bomb timer until it detonates. In this new exploit, once the bomb is planted, it explodes immediately, killing everyone around it and winning the round for the T side. 

This gives the T side a hugely unfair advantage, as the CTs arent given a chance to defuse the bomb and all the Ts have to do is plant the C4. This goes against the very essence of CSGO and must be addressed immediately.

Supposedly, this existed in 2017 too and was patched by Valve, but an official announcement about this instance is still awaited. We may see this issue being addressed in the next CSGO update, but nothing is certain as Valve may take their sweet time in fixing this.

Riot Games bans LGD Jay indefinitely for match fixing

Riot Games has indefinitely banned LGD Gaming’s mid laner Chen “Jay” Bo from all League of Legends competitions including the ongoing LPL, for involvement in match fixing in the Chinese league.

The ban comes after the allegations surfaced online following some leaked screenshots of chat between Jay and an unknown party. The screenshots show texts about Jay being asked to throw a match against Top Esports in order to fix bets. The texts also showed a clear effort to negotiate financial compensation by Jay for intentionally losing a fight around the Rift Herald.

Since the screenshots surfaced online, both ​​LGD and Riot Games stepped in to investigate and suspended Jay until the investigation was over.

After the allegations were found to be true, Jay was handed an indefinite ban from playing on any Riot Games associated events or league.

This essentially means a death sentence to Jay’s professional career in League Of Legends, as almost every big payout event or league is associated with Riot Games.

The ban comes mere days after the leaked text messages surfaced and LGD announced it had launched an internal investigation into Jay’s actions.

The news of the ban was first shared via LPL’s Weibo channel, which also stated that Jay’s ban is applied not only to competing professionally in League of Legends, but also includes being able to stream League Of Legends.

This essentially stops him from generating any form of revenue from the game publicly via streaming or competing.

Riot Games takes allegations of match-fixing very seriously given the massive value of its esports leagues, and Jay was clearly in violation of Riot’s competitive integrity requirements.

FURIA, MIBR First Teams to Qualify for PGL Antwerp CSGO Major

Brazilian CSGO showed up with a bang at the first RMR event for PGL Antwerp – the Americas RMR with MIBR and then FURIA confirming their presence at PGL Antwerp. FURIA defeated Complexity 2-0, after winning their first two games yesterday vs Leviatan and Isurus. MIBR meanwhile defeated Imperial’s Last Dance roster 2-1, after winning their games vs paiN and 9z yesterday.

FURIA will mark their presence at their 4th consecutive Major after IEM Katowice 2019, StarLadder Berlin 2019, PGL Stockholm 2021. MIBR will make it to a CSGO Major after a gap of two years and one Major as they missed the Stockholm Major last year, after Sharks qualified from the South American region over them.

With 2 spots confirmed already for the Major, the bottom two teams were eliminated from the event. The first of them being  Bad News Bears, who were making their debut with this roster on LAN, with Pakistani CSGO Pros Momo and Pluto. They lost all 3 of their games and were eliminated, alongside Argentinian side Leviatan who went  0-3 too.

There are 12 teams remaining that are still in contention, half of them with 2-1 records and the other with 1-2 records. The next set of matches will all be Bo3s as they will either be qualifying matches or elimination matches, and in the Swiss format, all other games except qualifying and elimination games are Best of 1s.

4 of the 6 teams with a 2-1 record are from North America and will battle it out over the next 2 days. The full list:

BGMI YouTuber Paras Official provides proof; asks for justice

Paras Official, an influential BGMI content creator, was recently assaulted in his own house as seven to eight men barged in and thrashed him. He had named a fellow YouTuber called “Daku” as the perpetrator but the alleged culprit had shrugged off these claims. Paras has uploaded yet another video in the support of his claims highlighting some proofs to make his case.

Paras has received severe injuries on his face and hands as his nose and one arm is broken. This incident took place a few days ago when some men beat Paras in his own residence. After the incident, Paras claimed that a YouTuber named Daku was harassing him and was behind such horrific incident.

After his video went viral on the internet, Daku stated that he is not related to these attacks in any way and he stands behind Paras to help him seek justice. The entire banter started when Paras opened up about people using carding to gain popularity rating in BGMI and Daku was one of them.

In the new video, Paras explained his story once again and then went ahead to mention the exact timeline in which attacks take place. The call history of his phone was shared and one can see multiple calls from abroad numbers.

Paras said that he only picked one call and talked with Daku for six minutes. He goes ahead to share some WhatsApp chats in which he has mentioned that Daku was threatening him on 8th April, prior to these attacks.

According to Paras, the police force is investigating this issue and after the press coverage, he has received some help. He has asked for justice in this video and stands firm on his allegations that Daku is behind the entire incident.
