Ate Gaming CSGO roster for Gods of Gaming unveiled

1

Ate Gaming, India’s CS pride has ventured into the CSGO roster, again. The organization will make their first presence at Gods of the Gaming event, scheduled a couple of days from now.

The roster will have their former players, Kappa and Ritz, who were also a part of their CS 1.6 squad.

Ritesh 'RitZ' Shah

Ate Gaming’s journey in CS goes back to the time when Indian CS was emerging. Among the few first – literal – teams in India was Ate Gaming, competing with NSD Gaming, Invictus.

With the likes of Mikhail ‘Rshknn’ Mehra, Ben ‘raid’ Varghese and Amar ‘rey’ Ratnam, Ate’s journey was worth appreciation. ESWC 2007, WCG 2010, ESWC 2014,ย ย ESWC 2013ย were some of the events where Ate Gaming got global recognition.ย At that point in time, Karthik Rao had the possession to promote the team and invite collaborations from the brands.

Tejas ‘Ace’ Sawant, once lead the team (CSGO) during the year 2012, the results of which were not fascinating enough for their survival. Hence, it had to be dismantled.

Ate Gaming won the WCG 2010 – India Qualifiers

Ate Gaming’s Gods of Gaming roster looks like:

  • Sagnik ‘hellfightR’ Roy
  • Akshay ‘Kappa’ Sinkar
  • Ritesh ‘Ritz’ Shah
  • Shara ‘Buster’ Dave
  • Hasnain ‘impale’ Sayed

We had earlier predicted that there could be the re-entry of Ate Gaming into the industry. Sagar ‘lOvEsx’ Vyas, renowned FIFA champion from India and also a partย of Ate Gaming’s core management confirmed their progress in forming a permanent roster for the future events.

Furthermore, the announced team will only take part in the Gods of Gaming event. The active players’ nomination for the future tournaments will be unveiled later.

An earlier version of the story mentioned Ate Gaming as the winners of ESWC 2014, which was factually incorrect. Instead, Virtual Impact had won the India qualifiers. We projected it as Ate due to the similarity of the players, SmX, MithilF.

It’s a sad day, to step down from NiP says Xizt

1

After the recent move by NiP which discarded Xizt from the active roster, the 26-year-old said it was a “sad day.” The reference was to his long-run with the Swedish organization from the time the NiP CSGO was formed.

Six great years

Richard ‘Xizt’ Landstrom has been a part of this active roster since 2012. The time goes back when the teams phased in from CS 1.6 to the new franchise in the year 2012. In the breathtaking run for NiP in the first few years of the game. They 87-0’ed rest of the world, where Xizt had a significant contribution.

If the Virtus.pro was glorified at a global level, Xizt’s contribution to NiP should have no less traction.

NiP picks up Dennis, Xizt steps down

2

The anticipating roster change from Sweden has finally been executed as NiP have officially signed Dennis. The pistol-master will take the role of the in-game leader. NiP has been struggling to get good results at all sort of events lately. Their continuous bad performance have led the team to look out for alternate options.

Recently at BeyondTheSummit’s CS_Summit 2, NiP had a landslide defeat where they couldn’t win a single series.

NiP Roster 2018

  • f0rest
  • Get_Right
  • Dennis
  • Draken
  • Rez

In both the best of three series, NiP could only win one map in each case. The 1-2 defeat against Liquid, followed by another 1-2 against Heroic in the loser brackets had left fans disappointed. NiP’s road ahead in the year will be determined by their performance in the ESL Pro League S7 (Europe) which is scheduled a few days from now. The new roster will face their Swedish counterpart, fnatic. Dennis ‘dennis’ Edman will also be seen competing against its former playground.

“Iโ€™m very excited to become the new in-game leader for NiP,” said Dennis. “Iโ€™m positive that we can become what NiP once was, a world-dominating CS:GO, team. I am super excited about the next step in my career as a player!” he added in a statement to the organization.

Sources: HuntR might quit Invictus to join Brutality for Gods of Gaming

1

As the Indian CS moves towards its next professional gaming event of the year, we’ve got some crisp for you. If our sources are meant to believe Brutality, India’s all time favorite CSGO squad have scheduled a change of squad. They will bring in Ishpreet ‘HuntR’ Singh in place of Sahil ‘paasha’ Arora.

The move comes in without both the side playing even a single game during the year. The teams had earlier announced their gameplans for the year 2018. The squads, however, already have shuffled as we move into the next half of the second month.

The team now looks like:

  • V3n0m
  • Astar
  • RiX
  • HuntR
  • Skadoosh

Invictus, which announced their rebon in the previous year, already is short of two players. While its primary player, Tejas ‘Ace’ Sawant chose to move out of the Indian region, HuntR now makes his way to join Brutality.

Email to Invictus went unresponded at the time of writing this article. Whereas, Brutality responded that their lineup will be announced very “shortly.”

The story is developing.
