Alinity calls Police over harassment from fans

Controversial Twitch streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon has filed a harassment report with the local law enforcement agency over fans who showed up at her doorstep unannounced and uninvited as she feels by doing so they invaded her privacy.

Alinity on 23rd May Tweeted about the situation where she explained that she will be filing a case with the local law enforcement agencies as the behavior showed by her fans is considered harassment in her books. The case will be filed but no specifics beyond the tweet were shared.

Update: The intruders were “a bunch of bored children that thought it would be funny” who considered such an act to be funny.

“Showing up at a content creators house is considered harassment. I do not tolerate this and will be contacting the police and an incident report will be filed.” she tweeted.

Given how things have turned out, the group to intrude was a “bunch of children” and Alinity may choose not to go ahead with the Police report. She did confirm that the incident shook her at first but she is “fine” now. No details about the investigation have been revealed but more to follow.

PUBG Mobile YouTuber Paras Official under fire for using racial slurs on Arunachal Pradesh MLA

Paras Official, a gaming YouTuber, has sparked massive outrage in Arunachal Pradesh due to his racial comments on Ninong Ering, current MLA of Pasighat West, Arunachal Pradesh. The YouTuber stated that Mr. Ering “looks Chinese” and has received massive criticism from the community.

Ninong Ering recently presented a letter to PM Modi, urging the Indian government to restrict the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The letter included several statements which allegedly linked the developers Krafton Inc. to Tencent and Mr. Ering called it a ‘Chinese Deception’ to rebrand PUBG Mobile and launch it as Battlegrounds Mobile India.

This letter quickly raised the possibility of yet another ban on the return of PUBG in India. Reacting to it, a PUBG mobile YouTuber from Punjab named Paras Official made some racial statements against Mr. Ering. He termed “Ering as a non-Indian and Arunachal Pradesh, a part of China,” according to a report from EastMojo.

Paras Official discussed these developments in a video and stated “Mujhe to nahi lagta yeh (Mr. Ering) Indian hai” and while looking at the map of India, made some comments on Arunachal Pradesh as well. He reportedly stated the following, “Arre yaar yeh (Arunachal) toh China ki side me hai. Yeh China walon ka hi hai… ek tarah se unhi k saath hi hai halka fulka touch hota hai, India me aata hai.”

The YouTuber was quickly targeted by many as they called him out on his comments. Mr. Ering reacted to this and called him immature. As per EastMojo, Ering stated, “He is free to point out mistakes if any, but the racist remarks are serious and something which needs re-thinking.” Mr. Ering added that he is going to file a complaint against Paras at Pasighat Police Station and Crime Branch.

Paras Official published an apology video soon afterward and apologized for using such language and asked for a second chance to rectify his mistake. He mentioned that his actions were childish and his mother also apologized stating that he is just a “kid.”

How to unlock the secret ending in Days Gone?

Days Gone has been one of the latest releases on steam. The game was first published on PlayStation consoles by Bend Studio with its Microsoft version, revealed on May 19, 2021.

Days Gone is an open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic Oregon, United States of America, and follows the story of Deacon St John, a drifter who discovers the possibility of his wife Sarah still being alive, eventually leading the former to find her.

Currently the main campaign of Days Gone would cost you around 35-40 hours followed by some post-credits missions which would eventually bring you to the game’s secret, a mission ending named “There’s Nothing You Can Do”. In this mission you will be contacted by NERO researcher O’ Brian, asking you to meet by the Old Cemetery in the Cascade region. 

The secret ending mission won’t be prompted by the game immediately after you complete the campaign. In order to unlock the former, you would need to complete the main storyline and keep yourself busy by doing some random activities or by even fast-traveling between camps. Activities like clearing Ambush camps or exploring NERO Checkpoints can be done in order to trigger the same.

Alongside, the game does have two post-credits missions (listed below) which can be completed as well.

Sure, the real-life version is not as detailed as the in-game counterpart, but the map layout is spot on. According to a post on Reddit, it’s probably located somewhere in China, but no one can tell for sure. One thing is pretty clear though, there are some truly dedicated Counter Strike fans out there, we salute them.

It is a matter of accountable fact that the real-life location has been recreated after being inspired by the in-game map. The map likely is a base for the very famous fun-game Paintball which shares the same format as the game itself.

xQc Permanently Banned From NoPixel GTA RP Server

Only a day after his recent outburst against the cops on the GTA RP NoPixel server, popular video game streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel has been handed his fifth and final ban from the NoPixel server.

For the unaware, after being taken into custody by the server’s police, xQc started lashing out at the officers in the area, punching officers who were inside his cell before ultimately being taken down by them.

A day after the incident, xQc’s NoPixel forum account has been given the tag of ‘permanently banned’, which means that he no longer has access to the server. His whitelisted tag on Discord has also been removed.

A forum post by a NoPixel staff member reads, “This case is going to be closed. Mr. Paul is no longer a resident of this city.”

This likely implies that xQc’s GTA RP character, Jean Paul, won’t be returning to the server anytime soon.

Advertisements are reinstated on Amouranth’s channel after she hinted at leaving the hot tub stream for good, but the additional revenue has been significantly reduced.

When Twitch said they were “closely monitoring” the “hot tub” meta, no one expected their verdict to come unannounced, least of all in this fashion. Arguably, the biggest hot tub streamer Amouranth, had her channel demonetized that left others in a bit of turmoil.

For someone of Amouranth’s stature, ad revenue racks up to a large amount, losing which may be significantly damaging. Suspending advertisements on her channel will close a big income avenue for her that Twitch assumed will probably demotivate other streamers into following the “hot tub” meta.

“For comparison, before the demonetization, I was getting $1000 a day in advertisements,” she said. “Yesterday, I  streamed for like 15 hours, had a 15,000 viewer average, and had $130 in ad revenue,” she added.

According to her statement, her annual income will be reduced to $50,000 from what previously was half a million dollars. The community, in general, has appreciated Twitch taking steps against the “hot tub” meta which might see similar streamers follow her footsteps.

PMPL Arabia Season 1: Super weekend Week 1 concluded with Falcons Esports at the top of the leaderboard standings with 196 points and 81 kills. They have a 30 points lead from the second team on the leaderboard. These points will be accumulated in the overall league standings. From which top 16 teams will qualify for the finals.

Zombies Esport holds the second spot in the standings with 166 points with 95 kills. It is the highest number of kills taken by any team in Super Weekend 1. GUNZ Esport finished at the 3rd spot with 164 points.

The epic showdown between Dr. Disrespect and Ferg is finally taking place as Call of Duty: Mobile has confirmed their fight in the ’80s Throw down Battle Royale Kill Race. COD Mobile fans have been waiting for this battle since a long time and we will finally see Dr. Disrespect officially competing in a mobile game for the very first time.

Dr. Disrespect sparked flames within mobile gaming community last year by calling out mobile gaming. Several influential faces within the community immediately responded and one of them was Ferg, a COD Mobile content creator. Ferg has a big following within the community and he called out Dr. Disrespect in a 1v1 fight in COD Mobile for $100,000 last year.

This matter was mellowed down with time but Call of Duty: Mobile surprised its fanbase with the announcement of Battle Royale Kill Race between Dr. Disrespect and Ferg in the ongoing ’80s Thrown down event. Majority of Female Gamers Hide Their Gender to Avoid Harassment

Blatant sexism and harassment is not a new thing in the world of multiplayer video games. In the past, we have often seen reports of female gamers being harassed online or prominent esports personalities raising their voice against the existent sexism in the video game community.

While video game companies have started taking measures against any form of harassment in multiplayer video games, the problem with cyberbullying seems to be far from over.

According to a recent Reach3 Insights report, in collaboration with Lenovo, as much as 59 percent of female gamers have hidden their gender while playing online video games over harassment concerns.

Here are some of the other key findings in the report:

  • 88 percent of female gamers surveyed play competitive games
  • 75 percent claimed that they play action/survival games while 66 percent play shooters.
  • 59 percent of females surveyed conceal their genders (or play as other genders) when playing online games
  • 77 percent female gamers reported encountering some form of unwanted behavior while gaming
  • 70 percent have reported to being questioned about their in-game skills
  • 65% have reported falling victim to gatekeeping
  • Another 50% have reported that they are treated differently because of their genders
  • 44 percent of the surveyed female gamers claimed to have received unsolicited relationship requests while gaming

These findings are certain to shock the video game community, and players across the world will undoubtedly be hoping for the developers to take more drastic measures to tackle in-game harassment.
