Viper’s ultimate allows you to enter a tiny ult-less ultimate pit as a wallhack

0

Controllers in Valorant are known to make your lives hell if the player knows how to function them with some crazy set of lineups and tricks. Omen and Astra have been known to exploit a specific set of bugs and have proved to be a nightmare for either of the teams.

Today we are here to shed some light on yet another trick pulled off with Viper’s Ultimate ability. As we know it’s often tough to block the real-estate on Breeze, which indeed does require precision and accuracy when it comes to landing your line-ups.

As said, Breeze has a whole lot of area to cover, and sometimes it might use up every smoke of Brimstone’s to block your opponent’s vision. But with Viper’s current arsenal, she can sabotage every trick your opponent has planted to halt you on offense. Let’s find out how her ultimate works post the spike has planted.

This wallhack trick of Viper’s works on the B site’s pillar. The agent would be clearly able to see enemies crawling inside her hazy ultimate “Viper’s Pit” while trying to defuse the spike from going down.

This trick was first brought to attention by u/MidnightMarauder427 as the player was aligned to trigger Viper’s ultimate, shown in the video. As we all can see, a tiny ult-less pit comes to effect as soon as Viper’s ultimate opens up wide enabling her to hide in the affected pit. Viper may need to get into her ultimate so that it does not run out of fuel and can hop back into the ult-less pit tricking the opponents. Every time this has been exploited, players have gotten an upper hand over others and it indeed proves to be lethal until the developers hold it off-guard and patch the same.

Players report connection issue in Valorant Mumbai servers

0

There’s been a spike of reports from users experiencing issues playing in Valorant Mumbai servers. The connection problem is gaining traction, and it may be a client issue.

Since the game’s release in 2020, Riot Games has been proactive in dealing with glitches and server-related cases. But, a recent connection issue has been tarnishing the game experience of Mumbai players for over a week now. Players are requesting Riot to look into the problem.

Packet loss and ping spike are the nightmares of any competitive player. But, some players in Valorant Mumbai servers can barely complete their ranked games.

Due to some mysterious error, most players are being kicked out of the match simultaneously. The problem has been going on for over ten days. Initially, players attributed the disconnection to ISP and DDOS, but now dozens of them have come forward with the same problem.

What’s wrong with Valorant Mumbai servers?

Players have reported that as many as five players get disconnected a few rounds into the game. After multiple tries, the server lets them in, but not before they’ve already received the ban penalty.

Moreover, these constant kicks have lost them plenty of rank ratings and matches. A few have pointed out that they can’t rejoin a game once kicked.

According to the community, the disconnection has been happening on almost all ISPs. Optimal PC specifications and swift internet speed can’t get you a stable full game if you’re playing Valorant on the Mumbai server, players have reported. Consequently, the Mumbai players are now forced to switch servers. Many have restarted their grind on Singapore, which is not ideal for Indian players.

Riot hasn’t yet acknowledged the problem despite the abundance of player complaints. For now, players have been following the one size fits all rule book that asks players to restart clients. It’s worth noting that restarting client, internet, PC, and similar standardized solutions have failed to fix the problem.

A similar problem occurred in North American servers in 2020, which was quickly acknowledged and patched up by Riot Games. Either this Mumbai issue is not server-sided, or Riot hasn’t noticed it, but players aren’t happy with the developers’ disregard.

China Arrests a Smuggler with 160 Intel CPUs Taped to his Body

0

Chinese authorities arrested a man in China who had 160 Intel CPUs taped onto his body in an attempt to smuggle them into the country.

As per a post by Chinese Customs officials on Weibo, on March 9th their team arrested a man at the airport after noticing a weird walking behavior suggesting the man trying to hide something on his body. After the arrest, the team discovered that the man had taped high-end CPUs and mobile phones on his waist, abdomen, and calves.

The smuggler had duct-taped 160 high-end 11th and 12th generation Intel CPUs, on his body along with 16 foldable Samsung Galaxy smartphones. While the post didn’t mention the exact models of the CPUs and smartphones recovered, it is believed that the person was trying to smuggle products worth more than $100K illegally into China.

This crime is the latest in the ever-growing syndicate of attempting to smuggle high-end hardware into China without the notice of the Customs Office. Just last year, the Customs Officials had arrested a man trying to smuggle 256 Intel CPUs in a similar fashion. The smuggling of high-end gaming hardware has increased drastically since the supply of high-end hardware is extremely short and they are extremely useful for mining rigs.

Due to worldwide shortages and high demand, the high-end hardware is selling at a steep premium over the MSRP. In the case of GPUs, some places are selling GPUs at more than twice the MSRP, while the CPUs are also going at a premium of upto 50% over MSRP.

In the past year, the supply shortages have improved very slowly and the demand hasn’t died down. The industry leaders and analysts believe that the supply won’t be improving before 2023. As a result of these shortages, smuggling attempts aren’t likely to stop anytime soon.

CashMeow assaulted by tourists out a restaurant in Japan

Popular variety streamer CashMeow was assaulted by some tourist outside a restaurant in Japan, which suggests the country is not as safe as it is perceived by the rest of the world.

During one of his IRL streams at a restaurant in Japan, CashMeow found himself in the dining area of a restaurant interacting with his chat when he came across a group of tourists harassing girls in the vicinity. In an effort to protect them, the Twitch streamer called the group over to his table with a few casual questions.

The conversation did not take a violent turn until one of the perpetrators walked up to him and drank water from his glass. They were clearly drunk and had little idea that they were assaulting another person in a public space.

Once the fight started, the perpetrators threw his equipment off the table and his stream was paused, after a while, he was back with the live stream and it was evident that something violent took place and he was completely thrown off his stride.

Many witnessed the incident and have called for the perpetrators to get deported. Police reportedly dismissed the issue but the video clips will likely change their minds. Keep an eye on his social medias for more updates.
