Latest Rockstar Job Listing Suggests GTA 6 May Release Soon

GTA 6

Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series are eagerly waiting for the announcement of a sequel to the ever-so-popular GTA V since 2018. While they have not officially announced the squeal, Rockstar and Take-Two have dropped multiple hints suggesting that the successor GTA 6 is already under production might come soon.

As per a new job advert, Rockstar is looking for game testers for Studios in India, Lincoln, and Edinburg to test out an “upcoming project” — which fans believe is none other than GTA 6. Leaks and rumors have previously suggested that a new game could come out in 2021 and

with Take-Two making an appearance in the upcoming E3 2021 online conference, it is a possibility that we might get an announcement about the game this year.

Rockstar India lists “knowledge and experience of Rockstar’s recent titles” as one of the needed qualifications. While Rockstar has previously announced the next-gen update for GTA 5 coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5, the port of GTA 5 isn’t out yet. So the job listing might involve testing for the next-gen update of GTA 5, rather than the new rumored game.

All the previous rumors and leaks have only been related to the content. Whether it’s the NPCs, protagonists, or the map, there were rumors and hints about everything. However, this is the first time a piece of news or rumor somewhat confirms a timeline for the game. As with all rumors, we’ll have to wait for an official word from Rockstar Games.
