TyLoo now ranks better than Virtus.pro

We are at the closing stages of 2018 and the world rankings of CSGO have come about to a comprehensive conclusion. The HLTV rankings suggest Astralis as the top team, followed by Natus Vincere. Among the top five are Liquid, FaZe & mousesports. Virtus.pro fell to the 31st spot.

The Polish lineup, who were once dominant in all versions of the franchise, have now dropped out of the top thirty teams in the world. The roster had a rough journey in 2018. Following the exit of the founding member TaZ, they have been struggling for a decent and stable squad.

Although the only core players remaining in the team are pasha & NEO, the roster is now ranked 31st in the world rankings. TyLoo, on the other hand is ranked 24th with 74 points, not a great feat, though comparatively better.

At the onset of 2018, the reports had come up suggesting that the organization could release both, Neo & TaZ. That didn’t manifest for NEO. Virtus.pro failed to establish their dominance in the year 2018. As today, VP doesn’t have a single win in their achievements for the year,ย except for their WESG Poland qualifiers.

Ex6TenZ and Smithzz to be replaced in G2 – Report

2

According to a report by VPEsports, Kevin โ€œEx6TenZโ€ Droolans and Edouard โ€œSmithZzโ€ Dubourdeaux are set to be replaced by the 3D Max duo of Audric โ€œJACKZโ€ Jug and Lucas โ€œLuckyโ€ Chastang.

The French roster is set to replace the players they had initially added in June, who had then replaced the duo of Nathan โ€œNBKโ€ Schmitt and Dan โ€œapEXโ€ Madesclaire, and now find themselves under the firing line.

After a string of poor performances including a loss in the legends stage of the FACEIT Major, and subpar performances more recently at ESL One New York 2018 and cs_summit 3, while also languishing at the bottom of the table in ECS Season 6, the team feels that the roster required some freshening up, with newer talent with more firepower.

Replacing them would be the two 3DMAX players Lucky and JaCkz, who are younger players with more energy, potential and firepower. Lucky is a hybrid awper, who has had an HLTV rating of 1.16 in the past 3 months and been the star of his team, while JaCkz, a slightly older player at 26, has had stints at EnVyuS Academy and is said to be a consistent fragger.

This also means that contract negotiations with Kenny โ€œkennySโ€ Schrub have progressed and he is set to sign an extension soon. Earlier, we had reported that the star awper had stalled contract negotiations, due to him being unhappy with the performance of his team.

The only question that remains is the role of the IGL, which was taken up by Ex6TenZ. While shox has shown in the past that he can be one, his numbers have taken up a hit, and while Lucky has shown in 3D Max that he can assist the IGL very well, the next few matches of the new roster will give a more clear picture.

G2 Esports should soon be:

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Richard โ€œshoxโ€ Papillon
๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Kenny โ€œkennySโ€ Schrub
๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Alexandre โ€œbodyyโ€ Pianaro
๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Audric โ€œJACKZโ€ Jug
๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Lucas โ€œLuckyโ€ Chastang

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Damien โ€œmaLeKโ€ Marcel (coach)
๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช Kevin โ€œEx6TenZโ€ Droolans (benched)
๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Edouard โ€œSmithZzโ€ Dubourdeaux (benched)

The exit of Team SoLoMid from the CS:GO forte, forced the lineup to play with “QuestionMark” for a while before they acquired the rights of Astralis from the Finnish organization.

One of the most interesting facts about Astralisย still remains the fact that the players themselves own the organization.

In 2016, CS veteranย Danny “zonic” Sรธrensen coached Team Question Mark, which eventually turned to Astralis. The lineup in 2017 entered into a contract with German car marker, Audi. Astralis’ CSGO lineup significantly turned robust after they signed gla1ve.

Astralis conquests IEM Chicago 2018 over Team Liquid

The world’s best Astralis demonstrated their value by and by after an overwhelming 3-0 IEM Chicago triumph over Team Liquid. The Danish squad has watched frail and out of shape this competition, however even this variant fo Astralis is all that could possibly be needed to anchor the trophy for Astralis.

Astralis is the ideal case of what a team can do with brilliant expertise administration and productivity. The Danish squad is to a great degree proficient with their development and situated, which drives them to highly affect the diversion.

In spite of getting Mirage, Nuke, and Inferno, Team Liquid was not ready to win a solitary map. One miracle if teams should begin forbidding Nuke against Astralis. The Danish squad is right now on a 24 delineate streak on Nuke. Their mid-round calls and their capacity to rapidly adjust to any calls by Glaive is the thing that makes them deadly on this map.

We see the Danish squad always show signs of change up systems mid-round. They may go into a round with the expectation of hitting the Ramp room, yet any data about the players’ situating and the quantity of players guarantees that they adjust to the circumstance. We may then observe a vent surge or a fast A site hit from the Danish squad. The speed of the Astralis Attack is unmatched in CS: GO.

Astralis 7th trophy in 2018

There were a couple of questions of Astralis’ strength in the ongoing weeks. After their poor execution at Blast Pro Series Copenhagen, Astralis looked powerless and helpless. Notwithstanding amid this competition, they had an exceptionally poor execution against Fnatic. At a certain point in time, it looked like Fnatic was effortlessly going to win the arrangement.

In any case, Astralis made a wonderful rebound from 15-9 to anchor the map in Overtime. It is this coarseness and flexibility from the Danish squad that genuinely places them in the association ever greats.

Nicolaiย “device”ย Reedtz won the MVP trophy, however in all decency, we need to state that Zonic and Glaive ought to get a lot of brilliance. The two driving forces have helped Astralis turned into the best level group and utilize their abilities proficiently.

With this triumph, Astralis is currently one bit nearer to anchoring the Intel Grand Slam. They have two more chances to do as such, and we anticipate that them will effectively win the Grand Slam. In any case, the present Danish squad is still extremely helpless.

There were two astounding rebounds for Astralis at IEM Chicago 2018. A couple of rounds going the wrong way could have seen a different result.

Valve steps in to settle the controversial DotA 2 racism

The tempest encompassing the DotA 2 network because of a couple of apparently bigot remarks, has forced Valve to issue an official explanation.

In the announcement, Valve prompts every single proficient player to keep a check of their dialect, regardless of whether they need to state it jokingly. Being an expert player implies that each word has an effect on countless fans. It is essential for the players to keep out of mischief on an open gathering.

The fiasco started back on November 2 whenย Filipino player Andrei โ€œskemโ€ Ong used racist language against his teamโ€™s Chinese opponents, Royal Never Give Up, during the DreamLeague Season 10 tournament.

The full statement is below:

We are about to embark on another journey towards The International. The previous International concluded with a historic 5 game series between LGD and OG that had fans on the edge of their seats. With the playoffs of the first Major about to begin shortly, teams now set their sights on competing once again at The International next year.

The International has always been about bringing fans from diverse cultures all around the world together to celebrate the game we love with one another. Professional players compete year-round, hoping for a chance to prove themselves on the grand stage. They have strong competitive spirits, with high emotions and drive to perform. Thatโ€™s why we love watching them compete. Weโ€™ve always had an approach of letting the players be themselves, and to express themselves freely. Thatโ€™s how itโ€™s always been for a long time. However, we also expect pro players to understand that they represent the Dota community regardless of where they are. Words carry a lot of meaning. Some people may not agree or understand why certain words are harmful, but it doesnโ€™t make it any less so to those on the receiving end. The language used by multiple players over the last week has caused many of our fans a lot of pain and is not behavior that we condone.

Weโ€™ve been spending the past few days talking to various pro players and community leaders about this. From all the interactions weโ€™ve seen over the years, we know that deep down professional players respect each other immensely. However, we want to be very clear that Valve will not tolerate racist language between pro players in any form. We think it is really damaging to the entire Dota community whenever even a single professional player uses discriminatory language. It pits fans against each other, belittles and demeans entire groups and makes them feel like they are not as important. Going forward, we expect all teams who participate in our tournaments to hold its players accountable and be prepared to follow up with strong punishments when players represent Dota and its community poorly.

We hope that the players and the community around the world will become better educated and more respectful as a result of the recent incidents. We think the communities everywhere around the world want the same things: for our favorite players and teams to do well, and for a great display of Dota. With the group stages over and the playoffs about to begin, we want to wish good luck to all the teams participating. Letโ€™s enjoy some Dota together.
