CHAMPION CHANGES
FIZZ
This slippery assassin has had too easy of a time killing his foes, so we’re cutting back on some of his base damage.
PLAYFUL / TRICKSTER
Damage: 85/150/215/280 → 75/140/205/270
CHUM THE WATERS
Maximum base damage: 350/450/550 → 300/400/500
JAX
Jax has been one of the most dominant fighters in both the Baron Lane and jungle, because of his late-game scaling. We’re toning down some of that power by reducing the attack speed he gains per stack of Relentless Assault.
RELENTLESS ASSAULT
Attack Speed gained per stack: 3/5.5/8/10.5% → 2.5/4.5/6.5/8.5%
LULU
Our favorite whimsical yordle has consistently been a top pick for supports in high level play, so we’re reducing her ability to buff her allies and how often she can turn her enemies into cute little squirrels.
WHIMSY
Cooldown: 16/15/14/13s → 17/16/15/14s
HELP, PIX!
Shield value: 70/115/160/205 → 75/110/145/180
YUUMI
Since her release, this cuddly cat has been having a rough time finding her place in the Dragon Lane. We held off on buffs initially because we wanted to give players time to adjust to her unique playstyle, but it’s clear now that even the most dedicated Yuumi players are struggling. We’re giving her more reasons to take her claws out and play around her Prowling Projectile rather than only focusing on giving her allies the Zoomies.
BASE STATS
Mana regeneration growth: 0.9 → 1.3
BOP ‘N’ BLOCK
Cooldown: 12/10/8/6s → 10/8.5/7/5.5s
PROWLING PROJECTILE
Mana cost: 90 → 70
Current percent health damage: 2/3.5/5/6.5/8% → 2/4/6/8/10%
Base damage: 40/80/120/160/200 → 60/100/140/180/220
Empowered base damage: 60/110/160/210/260 → 80/130/180/230/280
YOU AND ME!
Attached adaptive force ratio (AD:AP): 1:1.67 → 1:2
FINAL CHAPTER
Base damage per wave: 60/80/100 → 80/100/120
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
ITEMS
MAW OF MALMORTIUS
Maw of Malmortius is a niche item that should be the premiere pick when facing multiple magic damage threats, but right now it’s not. We hope by reducing Maw’s cost, it will help it become that premiere item of choice when facing multiple enemies dealing magic damage.
Combine cost: 600g → 400g
Total cost: 3000g → 2800g
RUNE CHANGES
DOMINATION: ELECTROCUTE
Electrocute is meant to be the keystone for burst and quick trades, but for many champions, Conqueror has just been a better choice. We’re giving it a couple small buffs to help it compete with the other options, particularly for assassins and mages.
Base damage: 30-184 → 35-189
Cooldown: 25s → 20s
DOMINATION: TRIUMPH
Triumph is a rune that can allow champions who do high damage, kill multiple enemies in a teamfight and stay healthy while doing it. However; it’s lately been struggling to find its place in this meta, so we’re increasing the damage it provides when attacking lower health champions so that it can better compete with the other Domination runes.
Bonus damage to enemies below 35% health: 3% → 5%
INSPIRATION: HUNTER- GENIUS
Hunter – Genius isn’t performing as well as we’d like. We’re increasing its starting ability haste and the ability haste that it provides per stack in order to make it a more competitive minor rune pick.
Starting ability haste: 2.5 → 3
Ability haste per stack: 15 → 18 at max stacks
INSPIRATION: PHASE RUSH
We know that Phase Rush has the potential to invalidate counterplay for some champions, which is why we’ve been careful when making adjustments to it. However; it’s clear this keystone is weak compared to others. This buff should help champions that value the extra mobility over the course of longer fights, while also maintaining its current power level for champions that just want to use Phase Rush to execute a specific combo every once in a while.
Cooldown: 15s → 12s
INSPIRATION: SWEET TOOTH
Sweet Tooth has been a dominant pick compared to the other minor Inspiration runes. We’re reducing the bonus healing and gold gained from Honeyfruit to hopefully allow for some other minor runes to shine.
Bonus Honeyfruit healing: 25% → 20%
Bonus gold per Honeyfruit: 20g → 15g
RESOLVE: BONE PLATING
Compared to the other Resolve runes, Bone Plating has been underperforming. We’re reducing its cooldown to better fit the faster gameplay in Wild Rift.
Cooldown: 45s → 35s
RESOLVE: CONDITIONING
Despite it being a competitive pick, we believe that Conditioning could also better fit the faster gameplay of Wild Rift. We’re reducing how long its bonus armor and magic resist stats take to come online, while also reducing its starting resistances to keep it in line with its fellow minor runes.
Initial wait time to gain bonus resistances: 5m → 3m
Starting bonus armor and magic resistances: 8 → 5
RESOLVE: HUNTER – TITAN
Hunter – Titan provides survivability and strong resistance against crowd control, because of this it has felt like a must-pick rune lately. To make room for some of the other Resolve runes to shine, we’re reducing the tenacity gained per unique champion takedown.
Tenacity gained per unique champion takedown: 4% → 3%
Max stacks: 20% → 15%
RESOLVE: SECOND WIND
Second Wind hasn’t been living up to its promise of mitigating lane poke and harass, so we’re cutting the amount of time needed to recover health to make it a stronger pick against consistent poke damage.
Regeneration time after taking champion damage: 10s → 5s
FREE-TO-PLAY CHAMPION ROTATION
Mar 3- Mar 9: Camille, Jax, Nunu & Willump, Rammus, Senna, Thresh, Tristana, Veigar, Xayah, Zed
Mar 10 – Mar 16: Evelynn, Fiora, Gragas, Katarina, Morgana, Nami, Orianna, Tryndamere, Varus, Vayne

CSGO case keys have undergone a massive hike in price on the Steam Market. This is a result of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Many European countries, game developers, tournament organizers, and even sports authorities have imposed sanctions on Russia, limiting their access to a lot of things. Even the Russian ruble has taken a hit, currently, 1 Ruble is worth 0.0094 USD.
CSGO case keys, which are worth $2.25 or INR 185 in normal circumstances, cost ₽180 (Russian Ruble) before the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. After the invasion, the economy of Russia has been tanking, as visible by the Ruble’s worth against USD. To keep up with this massive drop, the price of CSGO Case keys has gone up from ₽180 to ₽272.
According to reports by Talkesport, a series of transactions failures have been reported by the Steam Status on their Twitter handle as credit cards all the Russian territory seem to have been either decommissioned by their parent companies or just another service outage against Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine.
Users in Russia may not be able to purchase games on Steam due to credit card purchases failing.
— Steam Status (Unofficial) (@SteamStatus) March 2, 2022
The only working methods of payment on the Steam market currently are Steam Wallet and PayPal. No word from Valve has surfaced on this issue although users are waiting for a response, especially ones who have their payments stuck.
Valve has disabled all payment methods except Steam wallet and PayPal.
Game developers are also experiencing problems with getting payouts.
— Steam Status (Unofficial) (@SteamStatus) March 2, 2022
Digital Storefront, GOG.com has also restricted payments in Russian Ruble amid the ongoing conflict and Valve has apparently followed suit, but with no official word just yet, we can only theorize what is going on.
CSGO matchmaking service – Faceit has introduced a new update with multiple features. The most notable one of these is the option to BLOCK toxic players.
With the launch of this feature, users can now block players that they played with or against, and will never meet them in a game again.
CSGO MM has been secondary for quite some time now as players who want a better and smoother CSGO experience, turn to third party services such as Faceit and ESEA to play games on their servers.
The servers are 128 tick, with their own Anti-cheat, not dependent on Valve’s VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) and different skill groups as well.
As of late, Faceit has received a lot of flak, for allowing rampant smurf accounts, griefers and toxic players who consistently ruin the experience. This problem has been highlighted in the past as well by popular CSGO streamer fl0m.
Hey @FACEIT stop letting people pay to ruin the map veto process and instead let me pay to block 5 players a month.
The blocking feature is available for Faceit Premium and game subscribers, in all regions. By making use of this feature, players will not queue up with or be matched with blocked players.
To prevent abuse of this feature, Premium subscribers will get to ban 5 players per month while game subscribers will get 3.
Valve had already introduced an automatic mute feature against players who had multiple reports of griefing and abusive voice communication.
When players joined a game, they were automatically muted and their teammates would have to manually unmute them to hear them.
Faceit has taken this one step further and added a block option so players will not match up or be randomly queued with toxic and abusive players.
The blocklist can be edited, with the add or remove option as per the players’ will.
Valorant’s Episode 4 Act 2 is here with a variety of changes coming across for agents and other aspects of the game although we won’t be seeing any new agents being added to the ranks or a new map being introduced.
It’s just about time, Episode 4 Act 2 is shipped to Valorant but here we are, getting you all listed with every detail that is expected to come along with the update.
Earlier in January, Valorant developer Anna Donlon explained that the upcoming act wouldn’t feature any new agent or a map and would just focus on other aspects as mentioned above.
“So what does that mean? Well, first, and lets get it out of the way, there will be no new Agent or Map in Act II. Instead, lots and lots of updates that target Agent balance, existing maps, promoting good player behavior and an even better-ranked experience. Things like that.” said Anna in the company’s video.
When we speak about a dozen changes being brought to agents, they are mostly controllers who would almost shake up the entire meta going into the 2022 pro season and that will be the multiverse of madness when the least picked agent in 2021 or 2020 would be picked up the most going forward.
With changes for Brimstone, Omen and Yoru already been discussed earlier, we now set our focus on Astra who has been nerfed ahead of Act 2.
Stars Max Stars reduced 5 >>> 4Cooldown on retrieving a Star increased 14 >>> 25Astra can now pick up placed Stars during the Buy Phase to refund their charge immediately. The Maximum distance of Star Placement increased 10000 >>> 30000 to allow her to place Stars across the furthest corners of maps.
Gravity Well Cooldown Increased 25 >>> 45Gravity Well Size Decreased 525 >>> 475Gravity Well no longer affects anyone fully underneath the Gravity Well.
Nova Pulse Cooldown Increased 25 >>> 45Nova Pulse no longer affects anyone fully underneath the Nova Pulse.
Nebula Cooldown Increased 14 >>> 25Nebula cooldowns are now sequential instead of simultaneousNebula size increased 410 >>> 475
Astral Form While in Astral form, pings are no longer blocked by level geometry that Astra cannot seeAstra’s targeting ring in Astral form is reduced to one ring that reflects the now unified size of all her utilityAstra’s targeting ring no longer randomly disappears when aiming across some map locationsIncreased the speed of the overlay that covers Astra’s screen when transitioning in and out of Astral formFixed an issue where Stars were placed slightly above the location Astra was targeting.
“With the mastery of Astra’s play patterns over time, she’s become an overwhelming force in both coordinated and high MMR play. She’s crowded out Brimstone and Omen by replicating their strengths and they simply couldn’t keep up with the map-wide impact of her utility. We’re taking steps to create clearer relative weaknesses in an attempt to carve more space for our other Controllers. This starts by reducing her overall utility output and increasing her ability cooldown , in the hopes that this will increase the importance of each move she makes. Paired with this, we’re taking the opportunity to provide some quality-of-life updates and bug fixes that we feel are long overdue.” said Jeff Landa, Comms Strategist.
With the Episode 4 Act 2 update on the Horizon, we are looking at a series of agent updates and map reworks, although for the first time the agent roster won’t be seeing an addition to their ranks.

Instead, changes to agents, mainly controllers have been inculcated as a part of this major patch update headlining Episode 2. So far we have come across tweaks for Yoru and Omen. Let us now discuss what the developers got in store for Brimstone.
Comms Strategist Jeff Landa on changes to Brimstone –
“Brimstone is in a healthy spot overall, but he wasn’t performing well in scenarios where we think he should excel. The limitations on his smoke deployment and his Stim Beacon’s versatility were leaving him too constrained. With these changes, we’re hoping Brimstone will be a competitive choice on a healthy portion of the map pool.”
Brimstone’s smoke ability, “Sky Smoke” has been briefly buffed in a bid to match other controllers’ potential as the deploy time, radius have been modified while the height of Smoke has been increased. Find the list of changes lined up for Brimstone this patch :
Sky Smoke
Deploy time decreased 2 >>> 1 second
Deploy radius increased 5000 >>> 5500
Smoke height increased to match other Controllers

Now also applies a 15% speed boost in addition to RapidFire.

Among the other agent, changes would be Omen who would be getting a major buff as the Controller has struggled in the previous metas. His ability Dark cover would be getting a lesser cooldown now but at the cost of 150 credits although the projectile speed has been now increased from 2800 to 6400 units. Omen’s shrouded step has been reworked with its cost down to 100 credits and pre-delay teleport timer down to 0.7 seconds.
You can find the list of changes down here followed by a quick word by Mr. Jeff Landa, Comms Strategist at Riot.
Paranoia Added forward spawn offset, so players adjacent to Omen are not hit
“As strategic diversity in VALORANT evolved, Omen has struggled to find his place within the meta. Many of you enjoy his gameplay loop but have found it increasingly difficult to justify his selection in higher tiers of play. We want to increase his reliability as a Controller by rolling back a selection of early nerfs to Dark Cover, and sharpen his combat-focused abilities”, stated Jeff Landa on Valorant’s official blog.

The most anticipated Yoru rework might be introduced in Episode 4 Act 2, as a part of the Valorant patch 4.04. The rework will buff the agent with a plethora of changes which might prove to be a boon to the player-base while fielding him on the battlegrounds. Your’s Fakeout footsteps will be replaced by a carbon copy of duelist, tricking the players whether it’s the original one or just an illusion. Upon hitting the illusion, the latter would explode, flashing the enemy within the cone.
Mr Jeff Landa, Comms Strategist stated on Valorant’s official blog,
“Yoru is here with a few more tools in his belt, ready to Gatecrash his way back into your hearts (WHO WROTE THIS?) Fakeout is now a mirror image of Yoru and should help with adding a way to punish deceived enemies. Gatecrash’s teleport beacon—now with the ability to fake the teleport cues—will allow Yoru to create pressure around the map, confusing enemies as they second guess their backline safety. Dimensional Drift now gives Yoru full vision and access to his utility, allowing him to take space with his team while creating pressure on the backline. We’re happy to be able to lean heavily into Yoru’s deception fantasy and are excited to see him back in your hands!”
In addition to this, a fake teleport is rumored to be added to his Gatecrash ability although it would trigger audio and portal visuals as if Yoru is attempting to teleport while he would now be able to use his other abilities in his ultimate, Dimensional Drift. The ultimate’s total duration has been buffed to 10 seconds from 8.

Famous content creator and BGMI pro, Soul Regaltos, has lost the access to his YouTube account after it was compromised last night. It was named as “Ripple 2022” and content related to cryptocurrency was broadcasted on this hacked channel. The channel has now been taken down from YouTube and is presumably under the process of getting recovered.
Soul Regaltos has been an integral part of the S8UL since a very long time and was featured on the active roster multiple times. He was one of the outstanding players from Team Soul with high assaulting power.
The amount of subscribers on Regaltos’s YouTube channel ranged in millions and it made him one of the biggest gaming content creators in India. His channel was hacked yesterday and he has not made any official announcement about it yet.
8Bit Thug, the co-owner of S8UL and founder of 8Bit Creatives, addressed this issue on his Instagram and said that they are working to bring his channel back and it may take few days to get it restored. A snippet of his post is attached below:
The account is apparently taken down from YouTube as channel is “terminated” for the time being. This action could be a sign that it is under recovery and will be handed over to Regaltos soon.
