Pakistan lifts ban on PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile Beta 1.2

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has decided to unban PUBG Mobile in Pakistan after a “positive engagement” between the authorities and PUBG Mobile representatives.

PTA issued a ban on PUBG Mobile on 1st July regarding health concerns of the youth in the country. Although court orders of unban, PTA did not bulge from their decision and caused confusion about the right decision. The gaming community in Pakistan was outraged and expressed their thoughts through twitter and trended a new hashtag regarding unban.

The roaring turmoil in the community was quickly addressed by the authorities which promised to have some discussions with the affiliated companies and this discussion have become fruitful for the youth.

The final decision is in favour of the community and many people are thanking influencers who took a stance opposing the ban and helped headstart the initiative.
