Five Nights at Freddy’s arrived in Fortnite on October 1 as part of Fortnitemares 2026, and it brought a full pizzeria with it. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza now sits on the Battle Royale map, complete with animatronics you can fight and then take over.
The catch is that it doesn’t have a name label on the map, so it’s easy to miss. Here’s exactly where to find it and what to do once you’re inside.
Where is Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza in Fortnite?
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is in the north-central part of the Fortnite map, between Freaky Fields and Nightmare Neighborhood. Look for the lake with a Pac-Man-shaped island in it. The pizzeria sits just south of that lake, by a curved road surrounded by snowy trees. It isn’t a named POI, so there’s no label on the map.

How to get to the FNAF pizzeria
- Open your map before the Battle Bus launches.
- Find Freaky Fields and Nightmare Neighborhood in the north-central part of the island.
- Look for the lake with the Pac-Man-shaped island in it. The pizzeria is the building just south of it.
- Place a marker on the building so you don’t lose it while gliding.
- Land on the roof or near the lake at the back. The front entrance leaves you in the line of sight of the stage.
Some early guides placed the pizzeria near Battlewood, but that turned out to be wrong. The north-central spot near the Pac-Man lake is the right one.
What’s inside Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza?
The building is a recreation of the original pizzeria from the first Five Nights at Freddy’s game. It has a dining area facing a raised stage, an arcade corner and Pirate’s Cove, a curtained side area where Foxy hides. There are security camera feeds and jump scares built into the space, so expect a few surprises if you take your time inside.
The animatronics stand still on the stage until you get close. Once you approach them, they turn hostile.
Where do the FNAF animatronics spawn?
Most guides agree that Freddy and Foxy are always at the pizzeria, while Bonnie and Chica can appear elsewhere on the island. Some players report seeing all four at the pizzeria at once, so you may get a different setup from match to match.

How to beat and possess an animatronic
This is the main reason to visit. Defeating an animatronic lets you climb inside its suit and use it as an extra life.
- Fight the animatronic until its 300 HP runs out. Shotguns and pistols work well up close. Keep moving so it can’t land hits.
- Once it’s beaten, it slumps over and starts glitching.
- Walk up to it and hold the interact button for about three seconds to possess the suit.
- While you’re in the suit, its health protects you. If it’s destroyed, you aren’t eliminated. You pop out with your shield and 30 HP.
It only works once per suit, so treat it like a second chance, not a way to tank a whole fight.
Tips for landing at the pizzeria
- Clear Pirate’s Cove first. If Foxy is there, take him out before you go for the stage, so you’re not fighting from two sides.
- Don’t walk in through the front. The stage looks straight at the main entrance. Come in from the roof or the back near the lake.
- Expect other players. It’s a new location in the middle of the map during an event, so a lot of people drop here, especially in the first week.
- Grab the loot after. The animatronics drop strong loot, and the building has regular chests and floor loot too.
How long will the FNAF location be in Fortnite?
Epic hasn’t said. Fortnitemares 2026 started on October 1 and is expected to run until around October 29. Most Fortnitemares locations leave the map when the event ends, so plan to visit before then. We’ll update this guide if Epic confirms an end date.
