Rarest Sprite in Fortnite: Every Rare Sprite Ranked for Chapter 7 Season 4

Klombo is the rarest sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, but the drop rates you see online don't come from Epic. Here is every rare sprite ranked, how the Crown upgrade path works and when to hunt.

The rarest sprite in Fortnite right now is the Klombo Sprite in its variant forms: Loot Hacker, Cheat Master, Bounty Hunter and Gold. Klombo is the only Mythic sprite you can only get by luck, and no spot on the map spawns it reliably. The hardest sprite to earn is a different one. The Trick or Treat Crown Sprite takes six Victory Royales, one for each Crown upgrade.

There’s one problem with every rarity list online, including this one. Epic Games has not published official sprite drop rates for Chapter 7 Season 4. So the percentages you see quoted are community estimates. We explain which figures exist and why they disagree further down.

What Is the Rarest Sprite in Fortnite Right Now?

Klombo is the rarest sprite you can find in Fortnite. It sits in the Mythic tier with the Crown Sprite. Klombo gives you random items each time it levels up, and it only levels when you use healing or shield items.

Each of its variants adds another layer of luck on top. A Gold Klombo has to roll as Klombo first and then roll as Gold. Gold Klombo went live on August 21, 2026, one day after the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 release date of August 20. Cheat Master Klombo followed on August 27.

Rarest Fortnite Sprites Ranked (Chapter 7 Season 4)

This ranking covers sprites you find by chance. It uses rarity tier, variant layers and community tracking from late September, because no official odds exist.

The Crown line is missing on purpose. You don’t find it by luck. You earn it with wins, so it gets its own section below.

Fortnite Sprite Drop Rates: What Is Confirmed

Epic has not released a drop rate table for this season. The Sprite Checklist drop rate tracker still lists every Season 4 sprite as “not published” as of the v42.30 patch on October 1. It also warns that a 0% shown on a fan site means the value is unknown. It does not mean the chance is zero.

That explains why the numbers floating around clash so badly:

Claimed Gold Klombo or Klombo RateWhere It AppearsOfficial?
0.00001%Gaming news ranking (August)No
0.0001%Gaming guide sitesNo
About 0.01% of regular chestsCommunity estimateNo
About 20% per chest (standard sprites)Community estimateNo

These figures are a thousand times apart. Treat any exact percentage as a guess until Epic or a well-known dataminer posts reproducible numbers.

What is clear is how chests behave. Blue Cheat Code chests can drop any rarity. Purple ones give better odds of a variant. Gold Cheat Code chests guarantee a variant sprite, but the variant could be anything, so they don’t promise a Klombo.

Sprite Rarity Tiers in Fortnite

Season 4 sorts its base sprites into four rarity tiers. The higher the tier, the harder it is to find.

TierSprites
MythicKlombo, Crown
LegendaryJackrabbit, X-Ray, Blinky, Crash Bandicoot
EpicSonic, Tails, Shadow, Killswitch, Pond, Morgana
Rare8-Bit, Adventure, Bush, Jonesy, Mega Man, Onigiri, Overshield, Storm Scout

Every base sprite also has variant versions: Gold, Cheat Master, Loot Hacker, Bounty Hunter, and now Trick or Treat. The Fortnite.GG sprite tracker lists 239 sprites across every variant set if you want to track which ones you own.

How to Get the Klombo Sprite and Its Variants

You get Klombo by opening chests and looting during Battle Royale matches. That’s all. No quest, code or fixed spawn hands it out.

Here is what improves your odds:

  • Open every Cheat Code chest you find, especially purple and gold ones.
  • Play during Power Hours, when spawn rates go up.
  • Trade with squadmates who find a duplicate.
  • Eliminate players carrying Klombo, since eliminated players can drop their equipped sprite.

Once you have it, level Klombo up with Medkits, Shield Potions, Chug Jugs, Small Shields and Guzzle Juice. Ordinary fighting won’t level it.

Ignore YouTube videos promising a Gold Klombo “admin panel code.” No such code exists. The real Lobby Hack and admin panel codes give out Sprite Dust, XP, Gold Jonesy (code JONESYISGOLDEN) and five Cheat Master variants. Our list of working Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 codes shows what each one unlocks.

How to Get the Crown Sprite and Trick or Treat Crown

The Crown Sprite is the hardest sprite to earn because every upgrade needs a win. Its ability gives bonus crowns after a Victory Royale, scaled to its level.

Each new Crown variant needs one more win with the previous variant equipped:

StepCrown VariantRequirement
1CrownWin a Victory Royale
2Cheat Master CrownWin with Crown equipped
3Gold CrownWin with Cheat Master Crown equipped
4Loot Hacker CrownWin with Gold Crown equipped
5Bounty Hunter CrownWin with Loot Hacker Crown equipped
6Trick or Treat CrownWin with Bounty Hunter Crown equipped

The Trick or Treat Crown went live on October 1. Wins you get through the Adventure Sprite or through trading don’t count. For an average player, six wins in a row of upgrades takes far longer than waiting for a lucky Klombo drop.

Best Times to Hunt Rare Sprites in Fortnite

Power Hours are the best time to look for a rare sprite. Season 4 Power Hours have run on Saturdays in two windows, and Epic shows a countdown in game before each one.

EventPacific TimeIndian Time (IST)
Saturday Power Hour 111 AM to 1 PM PT11:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Saturday Power Hour 26 PM to 8 PM PT6:30 AM to 8:30 AM (Sunday)
New Sprite DayEvery ThursdayEvery Thursday

Themed Power Hours have bigger boosts. Gold Hours on August 22 raised Gold sprite spawns, the same way the Gem Sprite Power Hour did for Gem variants back in Season 3. Check the in-game timer every week. Epic has changed these windows before.

Upcoming Fortnite Sprites That Could Change the List

The other 23 Trick or Treat variants arrive on October 8, 2026, during Fortnitemares. Players will be able to get them by smashing pumpkins, opening chests and entering Cheat Codes. A Trick or Treat Klombo will very likely take the top spot on this list as soon as it drops.

Two more sprites follow on October 15:

  • Honey Sprite: sends bees after enemies who damage you.
  • Obsession Sprite: uses One Wish Willow to help you collect other sprites.

Epic’s Override season announcement also confirmed that Sprite Dust and Loot Hacks carry through the season, so keep collecting Dust while you hunt. We will update this ranking after the October 8 update.
