Fortnite has decided to extend the current Season X by a week’s time. This extension will result in the season to end on the 13th of October rather than Oct. 6 as announced initially, making it the first Fortnite season to end on a weekend.

Players can engage in exciting new Overtime challenges, called Out of Time, which will allow them to get variants for their Battle Pass skins, that is if they own the premium version. The new rewards include 3 new skin variants, a loading screen, and a black bling.

During the period of extension, players can continue to enjoy the existing season’s features, such as Gotham City and the Batman Caped Crusader Pack.

Epic Games have yet to announce a specific end time for the season. It is however speculated to end at 1pm CT on the 13th of October.
