Fortnite Crew Changes December 5: More V-Bucks the Longer You Stay, No More Monthly Skins

  • From December 5, Fortnite Crew gives 1,000 to 1,600 V-Bucks a month based on how long you stay subscribed
  • Monthly Crew Pack outfits end after December 2026, with remaining Legacy Styles granted to owners
  • The price stays at $11.99, and Crew members get a 20% XP boost

Fortnite Crew is changing on December 5, 2026. Epic Games is ending the monthly Crew Pack outfits and replacing them with more V-Bucks the longer you stay subscribed, starting at 1,000 a month and rising to 1,600 after a year. Subscribers also get a 20% XP boost. The price stays at $11.99 a month, according to Epic’s announcement on Fortnite.com.

For many players this is a bigger change than it looks. Epic cut Crew’s monthly allowance from 1,000 to 800 V-Bucks from June 6, 2026, as we reported in our story on the Fortnite Crew V-Bucks drop to 800. The new system brings the starting amount back to 1,000 and goes higher from the third month.

How many V-Bucks will Fortnite Crew give from December 5?

Your monthly V-Bucks now depend on how long you have been subscribed, across four tiers.

TierMonths subscribedV-Bucks per month
Core1 to 21,000
Bronze3 to 51,200
Silver6 to 111,400
Gold12 and up1,600

By our count, a new subscriber who stays for a full year would get 15,600 V-Bucks in the first 12 months. That is 6,000 more than the 9,600 a year the 800 V-Bucks allowance gives, and 3,600 more than the old 1,000 a month. From the second year, Gold members would get 19,200 V-Bucks a year.

What is Fortnite Crew removing?

The monthly Crew Pack outfits are ending. December 2026 is the last month of exclusive Crew skins under the current system. Players who already own Crew Pack outfits will receive all of their remaining Legacy Styles for those outfits, pickaxes and back blings, so nothing they own is lost.

The OG Pass is also leaving Crew. Fortnite OG’s current season ends on December 5, and the next OG era is planned for late 2027.

What stays the same in Fortnite Crew?

The price stays at $11.99 a month. Crew still includes the Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass and Rocket Pass Premium.

The new XP boost adds something for squads too. Crew members get 20% more XP, and players in a party with a Crew member get a 10% boost, across Battle Royale, Zero Build and Save the World. Crew picked up other extras this year as well, including the Disney+ perk.

Is the new Fortnite Crew worth it?

It depends on what you subscribed for. If you mostly used Crew for V-Bucks and passes, the new system gives you more each month, and the reward grows the longer you stay. If you subscribed for the exclusive monthly skins, December is your last one.

The tiers also reward staying subscribed, since the higher amounts only arrive from month three onwards. The change comes months after the fan backlash over V-Bucks prices earlier this year.
