Liquid has taken down Cloud9 in a difficult contest to win their first game of the Perfect World CS2 Shanghai Major.

A dominant start of Cloud9 on their defence put them 6 rounds ahead of Team Liquid who had a promising record on Ancient. The defence put up by Cloud9 seemed impossible for Team Liquid to get past but moments of individual brilliance helped them squeeze in 3 rounds which fueled their comeback in the second half.
Liquid found their footing in the second half which got them back to winning ways. A near-perfect CT side from the North Americans saw them make a comeback as Cloud9 let go of the lead that put them within touching distance of a victory. The streak of rounds let Liquid reach the finish line with a 13-10 scoreline.
Their skipper in Twistzz, jks, and ultimate were the driving force for Liquid in their comeback as they now sit with a 1-0 scoreline, only two wins away from the next stage of the Major.
