Fallout Gaming Major Galaxy Battles status revoked by Valve

Citing it to be “unreasonable infringements on the privacy of the players” Valve has barred Fallout Gaming to host Galaxy Battles labeling it as a Major.

Galaxy Battles is scheduled two weeks from now. The ex-Major was supposed to be held in the Philippines. The tournament, however, still continues to exist without Valve or DotA Pro Circuit being a part of it officially. The prize-money set for the tournament with half a million contributed by Valve will also be reduced.

Valve officially posted the termination of the Major on their blog, excerpts from the post here:

โ€œBased on the information weโ€™ve recently confirmed regarding new government regulations for esports players entering the Philippines, we have decided to rescind the tournamentโ€™s Major designation, including the Pro Circuit qualifying points, for the Galaxy Battles 2018 tournament. This is based on what we feel are unreasonable infringements on the privacy of the players as a condition to enter the countryโ€.

Philippines Governing Body Rules Out

The Philippines Games And Amusements Board (GAB) clarified in response to the revoke, citing the new regulations. In accordance to which, esports athletes are also subject to similar rest to those of other sports athletes and thus are required to obtain approval from GAB.

A mandatory license from GAB will permit the athletes to take part in the event. The drugs tested for are marijuana and shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride). GAB also claims to have communicated about the regulation to the organizers long ago.

The cause of this whole blunder is still lying on the grey area, as there were also questions about the legitimacy of the organizer, Fallout Gaming. The venue of the event was also reportedly on the darkest side of the Philippines, famous for the notorious rackets.

TyLoo to miss ELEAGUE Boston Major 2018

3

TyLooย has formally declared their missing of the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018, after fizzled transactions with the team’s previous coach,ย Luisย “peacemaker”ย Tadeu.

As of now coachingย Heroic, the Brazilian has declined the offer to remain in for his previous association, rather picking to commit time to his right now group over the coming weeks.

The whole circumstance happened because of TyLoo’s star player,ย ย Hanselย “BnTeT”ย Ferdinandย being unfit to take an interest in the up and coming major in light of US visa acquisition issues.

An endless supply of his failure to visit the US for the major, TyLoo connected with peacemaker to check whether the man would be keen on taking an interest set up of BnTeT.

After talks and transactions, it had risen that the man isn’t keen on taking part, purportedly troubled with the monetary arrangements from TyLoo for his opportunity standing in.

According to a report from Jarek “DeKay” Lewis, the discussion separated as the association declined to share an undisclosed level of assets accumulated from ticket deals to Tadeu, bringing about the previous mentor declining to remain in.

It is as of now obscure as to which group will supplant TyLoo at the New Challengers phase of the ELEAGUE Major, in any case, it appears to be likely thatย Flash Gamingย will be assuming control as contenders, seeing as the group came in third place at the Asia Minor.

An extra factor that focuses on this wasย a tweet fromย Andrewย “kaze”ย Khongย (since erased), that appears to infer seek after a US visa arrangement.

Brollan and hampus complete GODSENT roster

0

GODSENT recently saw the departure ofย Dennisย “dennis”ย Edman, followed shortly byย Andreasย “znajder”ย Lindberg, leaving the Swedish roster down to just three. Earlier today it emerged that youngstersย Ludvig “Brollan” Brolinย andย Hampus “hampus” Poser.

The departure of the latter two comes as a result of lackluster performance over the recent past, with the prior standing in for Astralis at the BLAST Pro Series to great effect.

A caveat that seems to be restricting GODSENT in ways is the fact that due to his young age, Brollan will not be permitted to participate at ESL-sanctioned events, requiring either a stand-in for the roster during them, or simply skip them entirely.

Kasper Hvidt, Director of Sports at RFRSH Entertainment expressed:

We have been working with different team and player profiles for a while, both from a skill and performance perspective for the individual players with the general psychological match between profiles on a team. One result of this work is the new roster at GODSENT.

We wanted to revitalize the team and to create a younger, hungry and eager profile. With twist, disco doplan, freddieb on the team and by adding hampus and Brollan, weโ€™ve set together an extremely skilled team which I am confident will be able to produce results. When setting together a new team, youโ€™ll most often have a period of fluctuating results, but on mid and long term, this roster will take GODSENT back to a position as a serious and strong contender.

The older of the two newcomers, 19-year-old hampus, had a performance with GODSENT prior to joining full time at the WESG European Regional Final, managing to make a solid run alongside his new teammates, all the way to the grand final, where they subsequently conceded a best-of-3 series to Team Ukraine, snagging second place and a spot at the LAN finals of the $1,500,000 prize pool main event.

The very same European Regional Final saw 15-year-old Brollan perform in place ofย Freddyย “KRiMZ”ย Johansson, except the second Swedish competitors were only able to land quarter-finals finish after a loss to Team Ukraine meant 3-4th place.

Kings Gaming Club separates from its CSGO male roster

0

Kings Gaming Club has officially parted ways with its male CS:GO roster. As mentioned in the official statement, the organization and the team seem to misalign when it comes to their respective visions going into 2018, prompting the immediate release of the roster.

The team has recently experienced issues cementing a five-man squad, ever since the removal of Travis “wizard” Richardson on Nov. 20th, 2017. The 21-year-old man had issues with “passion and commitment” towards the game, opting to vacate his slot on the roster effective immediately, allowing the team the opportunity to find another player to fill the spot.

Recent results haven’t been the worst for Kings, as the team managed to secure a placement at the WESG APAC Finals following a flawless performance at the qualifier for the event that took place early-December.

Whilst the roster was not technically entirely composed of players from Kings, hosting Tainted Minds’ Josh “INS” Potter and Chiefs eSports Club’s Liam “malta” Schembri, in order to adhere to the single nationality rule set for the tournament, the results were promising to say the least.

Additionally, the core was able to produced a solid 3-4th place finish in the Australian wing of ESEA Mountain Dew League Season 26 play-offs with Dylan “kyoto” Brown standing in.

Samsung was the sole sponsor of the Samsung Galaxy team, which won the League of Legends World Championship in Beijing three weeks ago. Rubino deputed as substitute for Astralis

1

Astralis has announced that they will be using Ruben “Rubino” Villaroel instead of Nicolai “device” Reedtz for the upcoming LAN finals of ESL Pro League.

Since dev1ce is on medical leave, it was not decided whether Astralis will skip ESL Pro league finals because the Danish organisation was not allowed to use Dennis “dennis” Edman who was their Blast Pro Series stand-in at the event, the Astralis have decided to go with Ruben “Rubino” Villaroel to attend the tournament on their home soil.

Danny “zonic” Sรธrensen said in his official statement through Facebook.

“First of all, we look forward to playing and we will do our utmost to reach the playoffs in the arena in front of all the local fans. It was such a boost to have the home crowd behind us last weekend at BLAST, and for us itโ€™s amazing to be able to play two big events on home soil.”

“The competition is fierce and I have to say that playing with our 4th line-up in the last 4 tournaments does not exactly increase our possibilities to prepare optimally and to find our rhythm on the team. That being said, Iโ€™ve had the chance to work with RUBINO before. He is an extremely skilled player, and it will be a great experience to have him on board for the coming events. We have had a great year, and we intend to finish the way we started!”

ESL came out with their official statement on the rules and rulings about certain cases, clarifying the difference between having dennis and Rubino play the ESL Pro League Finals for Astralis.

Although, since dennis played for GODSENT all the way until the end of the season, by playing his last match on November 12th, he was not allowed to be added to Astralis. The team was allowed to add a player that did not participate in the last match of ESL Pro League, and they decided for RUBINO. ( According to ESL’s Statement )

Current confirmed Lineup of Astralis for ESL Pro League Finals and ECS Season 4 Finals is –

  • Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
  • Andreas “Xyp9x” Hรธjsleth
  • Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander
  • Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjรฆrbye
  • Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel
  • Danny “zonic” Sรธrensen (coach)
  • Nicolai “device” Reedtz (medical leave)

Astralis have also mentioned that Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel will also play the upcoming ECS Season 4 Finals, that will be held in Cancun, Mexico, mid-December.

He will miss the ESL PRO League Season Six Finals as well as the ECS Season Four Finals which will be commencing later this year.According to Dev1ce he will be back for ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, considering Improvement in his medical Conditions.

It’s possible that the main reason behind Dev1ce’s extended leave may be due to his treatments on Hiatal Hernia that which was diagnosed in March.

According to Astralis Twitter โ€œDev1ce had a relapse and was taken to the hospital for a medical check-up,โ€ after IEM Oakland earlier this month. โ€œIt was decided to send him home for further checking [and] to get some much-needed rest.โ€

During IEM Oakland, the team decided to fly back to their home ground ( Denmark ) considering Dev1ce and Peter โ€œdupreehโ€ Rothmannโ€™s health issues.

According to ESL, the other 3 players were fined for not following their rules and regulations.

Not to worry though, Astrails has Dennis from GODSENT and Jacob โ€œPimpโ€ Winneche the former AWPer of team Liquid to fill the slot for Dev1ce as well as for the Danish organization.

Dennis played really well with Astralis in the Blast Open Series Copenhagen 2017 Denmark happened this weekend. while Pimp played for Astralis by qualifying for the ECS Season Four Finals in Cancun, Mexico in mid-December. Chances of PIMP attending he $750,000 Finals with Astralis are High because he helped them qualify by placing fourth in the European region.

Since it’s not clear yet whether Astralis will play the ESL Pro League Finals from Dec. 5 to 10 because of a pending claim to WESA, ESLโ€™s team-governing body, regarding the use of Dennis at the league event according to HLTV’s Report.
