Create an Ideal CSGO Practice Environment with these Commands and Config

Practice makes a man perfect! If you want to become a pro or at least a good at CSGO, you need to practice it on your own. To practice CSGO on your local server, you need to run a few commands or you can make a config file to apply it on your server. These commands will show your grenade trajectory, impacts, and much more. You just need to execute the CSGO practice commands and start practicing. Without wasting time, let’s get started!

Server Config

A config file is made up of several console commands. I’m going to explain all the commands one by one.

  • sv_cheats 1
It enables cheats on your local server.
  • bot_kick
It kicks all the bots from your server.
  • mp_limitteams 0
    Removes any team limit.
  • mp_autoteambalance 0
    Turns off auto team balance.
  • mp_roundtime 60
  • mp_roundtime_defuse 60 (for defusal maps)
  • mp_roundtime_hostage 60 (for hostage maps)
Make the maximum round time to 60 minutes.
  • mp_maxmoney 60000
  • mp_startmoney 60000
It gives you $60000 money at the starting instead of $16000.
  • mp_freezetime 0
Removes freeze time at the beginning of every round.
  • mp_buytime 9999
    Unlimited buy time.
  • mp_buy_anywhere 1

  • ammo_grenade_limit_total 5
You can have all the 5 types of grenades.
  • sv_infinite_ammo 1
Provides infinite ammo and you don’t need to reload for that.
  • sv_infinite_ammo 2
You will get infinite ammo with that command. However, you need to reload this time.
  • mp_warmup_end
    It ends the warmup
  • mp_restartgame 1
Once the config is loaded, your local server will restart the game after 1 second.

Practice Commands

  • sv_grenade_trajectory 1
Whenever you throw a grenade, it will show the trajectory.
  • sv_grenade_trajectory_time 30
You will be able to see the grenade trajectory for 30 seconds. Although, you can change the value according to you.
  • sv_showimpacts 1
It shows all the bullet impacts.
  • sv_showimpacts_time 15
The bullet impacts will be visible for 15 seconds.

Other Commands You May Need

Here are a few other useful CSGO practice commands for you. Although, don’t add these commands within the config file. You just need to use these commands on your console whenever you need.

  • bot_add_t
    It adds a T-Sided bot.
  • bot_add_ct
    It adds a CT-Sided bot.
  • bot_kick
Basically, kicks all the bots from the server.
  • bot_stop 1

Handy Keybinds

  • bind “KEY” “noclip”
It toggles noclip on/off. With noclip, you will be able to fly anywhere around the map.

Will provide you all the grenades.
  • bind “KEY” “cast_ray”
It will cast a straight line to detect any collision.

Once you are done, you need to follow these steps:

  • Change all the “KEY” according to your preferred keybinds.

It is located in (by default): C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg

In a first, Rainbow Six World Cup announced with South Asian dedicated slot

0

Today at Ubisoft’s digital press conference, Ubisoft Forward, the company announced the first ever Rainbow Six World Cup, an exciting new way to enjoy esports with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege. The Rainbow Six World Cup will take place in the Winter of 2021.

For the first time in Rainbow Six Esports history, players from 45 countries and regions will compete at the highest level to become the team that will make history by bringing home the very first Rainbow Six World Cup trophy. The World Cup is also a unique and unprecedented opportunity for fans to share their love, pride and unconditional support with the team that will represent them on the worldwide stage.

For such a special occasion, Ubisoft has entrusted international athlete Tony Parker to take on the role of ambassador for the Rainbow Six World Cup and share his 20-year experience with the players involved in the competition.

With 4 NBA titles, a EuroBasket title, more than 180 selections in national team and a true passion for esports and gaming, Tony Parker will have great insights to share with players who will face, for the first time, the special pressure and stakes that come with competing in world cups.

“In the Rainbow Six World Cup players will compete alongside new teammates and new coaches from their home countries; players that might be their rivals otherwise,” said Tony Parker, 4-times NBA Champion and EuroBasket Champion. “They will experience something new, and I am excited to share my experience and accompany them in that adventure as part of my role as an ambassador. I have been involved in esports for the past six to seven years now, and when Ubisoft first came to me with this project, I was convinced they wanted to create something special. It will be a first for the game and I wanted to be part of it.”

From September 2020 to Winter 2021: the road to the Rainbow Six World Cup

rom amateur competitive scenes which started only 5 years ago, Rainbow Six Siege has developed into Ubisoft’s top-tier esports title, with more than 60 million players worldwide, and 40 professional teams competing in four strong regional leagues across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The Rainbow Six World Cup is the latest addition to the Rainbow Six Esports ecosystem, as an independent layer of competition and the first ever country-based tournament for the game.

The Rainbow Six World Cup will involve a total of 45 countries and regions throughout two stages. The Qualifier Stage will happen during the first half of 2021, while the Final Stage will take place during the Winter of 2021. 14 countries and regions will get a direct invite to the Final Stage and, additionally, 31 other countries will take part in online qualifiers to compete for one of the six remaining available slots. Ultimately, 20 teams will compete in the Final Stage of the World Cup.

To determine the composition of each national team, local Rainbow Six Siege communities and professional scenes will participate in a two-step process:

Starting September 14, each of the 45 participating countries and regions will start selecting their National Committees, composed of 3 team managers.

Later this fall, each National Committee will select the 5 players who will compete in the team.

The National Committees will ultimately head the team they carefully composed as they take on the challenge to become World Cup champions.

Here are the teams that will compete directly in the final stage of the R6 World Cup. Most of them include teams who compete in official regional leagues.

  • Germany
  • Spain
  • United-Kingdom
  • Italy
  • France
  • Russia
  • South Korea
  • Japan
  • Chinese Taipei (Taiwan)
  • Australia
  • United-States
  • Canada
  • Brazil

Currently Union Gaming is leading the ranking and ratings in South Asia, after winning the first regional major with 275 points.

Therefore, they are already in top 16 who will be given the spot in Six Invitational 2021 and they will come into the South Asian qualifiers as one of the favourites to win the SA Qualifiers for the Summer World Cup.

PMCO Pakistan: The story of most rescheduled PUBG Mobile tournament

0

PMCO Pakistan finally comes to an end after six official reschedules and many small postpone for several reasons, most prominent one being hacking allegations. PMCO: Fall Season was set to bring out new talents in front of the world but unfortunately, most of the hidden gems were overshadowed by hackers qualifying in the group stages of PMCO.

The first reschedule and resulted bans:

The entire chain of events started when PMCO: Pakistan was halted midway during their group stages. The official stream was paused midway and casters announced a short interval after which the stream was turned off. After some time, several screenshots were posted on social media which stated that the tournament was postponed on 13th August due to “suspicious behavior of some players” and the tournament was postponed until its “integrity” was insured.

The suspicion was ultimately true as four teams were banned for lifetime on the next day, 14th August. The teams named Team Xetreme, 47 esports, Team ECSTASYYY and TheHELLFIREs were banned. According to the official statement given, “The PUBG Mobile Esports team investigated the currently active competitive PUBG Mobile players of PMCO Pakistan. We have discovered that four teams have made use of an unauthorized program, the type of which has been severely damaging the integrity of the game PUBG Mobile therefore we have decided to ban the following four teams from ongoing PMCO Pakistan and future PUBG Mobile tournaments for lifetime.”

The next wave of postponement and bans:

After the initial bans and investigations, the entire edition of PMCO for South Asian region was questioned and hence soon after the above incident, PMCO tournaments for India, Pakistan and South Asia region were postponed on 16th August. What followed was the biggest crackdown on hackers in PUBG Mobile’s esports history.

The dignity of PMCO, one of the most prestigious events in PUBG Mobile, was already beginning to falter with hackers managing to evade in-game anti-cheat system and reach for group stages and hence stringent actions were soon taken. After the tournaments were postponed, another massive banwave emerged under which a total of 19 teams, comprising of almost 80 total players were disqualified from PMCO out of which 11 belonged to India region and the remaining from Pakistan region. The list of teams already included the first four teams banned and some more teams faced the same fate very soon.

The Semi-finals and Finals stages:

After the bans were placed, the tournament was sailing smoothly for the entire South Asian region but for PMCO: Pakistan, that was not the case. On 26th August, the tournament was again postponed for one day to scan some more players for hacks and as a result,Team IDL got banned for hacking. The ban was imposed as the team was using “unfair means” in the semi-finals which indicated to a possibility of hackers still playing after a managing to avoid getting caught during the earlier massive investigation.

Soon after this, the tournament was again postponed for other reasons like heavy rains in some parts which affected the connectivity. The tournament was also on a break for two days because of regulatory measures taken by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.

The teams playing in finals tried to boycott the tournament due to which PMCO Pakistan faced another small postponement for “suspicious behaviors of players.” The expected outcome was some finalist team facing a banhammer but instead, a semifinalist team named Team No Rules was banned for using unfair means. The players continued to boycott the tournament after a couple of more postponements, a final verdict was passed.

According to the above screenshot, the teams were given a choice to either play in the finals or boycott which would lead them to lose all the future invites and prize pool money. The teams that complied to the above rules played in the one-day final stage. For the first time, ten matches were scheduled in just one day where players battled out for almost seven hours with small breaks to win the regional finals. Such catastrophic chain of events came to an end when the finals were concluded with Team Scytes as the winners. The top three teams qualified for the PMPL: South Asia region.

Final Conclusion:

After such a long term of constant reschedules and many bans, the tournament came to an end on a questionable note. The teams were still trying to boycott the finals which indicate towards suspicious players being present despite all the previous actions taken. The future of teams qualifying in PMPL:South Asia is also uncertain as PUBG Mobile is banned in India and a large portion of competitors in this tournament belonged to the same country.

The entire PUBG Mobile Club Open: Pakistan was a roller coaster ride for the players as well as the fans watching this tournament. Hackers being present at such a large scale question the anti-cheat detection capability of this game. Although the game received its biggest update which includes anti-cheats improvements, this tournament was still a disaster filled with cheaters. Not only large portion of deserved teams missed out on their slots in PMCO, the competing teams eliminated into group stages shared the same fate as they failed to qualify further and two hacking teams snatched those slots.

PUBG Mobile and Jio Partnership are rumors for now

0

PUBG Corporation recently severed its ties with Tencent Games and fully acquired the PUBG Mobile publishing rights in India. According to some reports, the company is looking for an Indian partner to publish and manage the game for Indian region exclusively and amidst all this, rumors were flying that PUBG Corporation is looking to partner up with Jio but nothing of such sort is confirmed yet.

PUBG Mobile was banned by IT ministry of India along with 117 other Chinese apps as they were “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defense of India and security of state and public order.”

After the ban, its impact on Indian audience was visible and there was a big question what would PUBG Mobile officials do to tackle this situation. A ray of hope for the game’s fans was visible when PUBG Corporation announced that they revoked Tencent’s publishing rights in India and fully assumed the control.

While this move may not directly suggest that the game will be banned as there are several other factors related to this game, most important one being user privacy. Even with tweaked privacy policy by PUBG Mobile that stated the data was hosted locally, the game could not evade the ban-hammer in the past. PUBG Corporation is working towards a possible solution to uplift this ban and considering the past issues, giving publishing rights to any Indian firm would be a plausible solution.

While the Jio and PUBG Corporation partnership is just a rumor for the time being, nothing can be speculated. The development, publishing and content moderation along with the game’s esports side is a very big task to handle for any firm and such big titans are less in number in India.

Pokimane announces date of her return to streaming

0

Iconic female streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys has revealed the date of her return to streaming through a tweet dated September 9th. The Twitch star has been in the centre of multiple controversies lately, which many believe is the reason for her sudden “break”.

On 6th August, the 24-year-old announced her plans to take a month-long break from streaming due to her feeling “burnt out” amid the pandemic. She mentioned how she wasn’t able to meet her family, friends or fans since the lockdown, which made her lose motivation for creating content.

Pokimane was involved in quite a lot of controversies at the time. She was held under fire by multiple popular content creators on YouTube like LeafyIsHere, who accused her of being a “hypocrite” by taking down other people’s videos of anyone who criticised her.

She was also blamed by the Leafy fan base when his YouTube channel was terminated following his dozens of videos targeting Pokimane. However, Pokimane later denied having any involvement with Leafy’s ban whatsoever.

In the middle of her break, Poki uploaded an apology video on YouTube addressing her past behaviour. She apologized for using racial slurs on stream in the past, and also for taking down other people’s content.

Luckily, it appears like Pokimane has bounced back from all the criticism and left the controversies in the past, as the streamer has announced her “official return stream” to be scheduled on September 11th. Fans will be able to catch her live on Twitch this friday on 12 PM PST/ 3 PM EST.

Poki fans will be looking forward to seeing what she has in store for them after the long month of waiting for her return to the streaming world.

Free Fire reaches 2.1 million downloads in four days after PUBG Mobile ban in India

Free Fire has received a big surge in player base after the PUBG Mobile got banned by Indian Government on 2nd September. As per the reports, the battle-royale games has received big surge in in downloads as the stranded fanbase of PUBG Mobile looks for a new game in the same genre.

PUBG Mobile set up a huge trend of battle-royale games in India after it was launched back in 2018. The game was already a huge success around the world for other platforms but there was as sudden boom when the game made its debut in mobile gaming genre. India being among the top countries to see the surge in rising popularity of this game, PUBG Mobile became on of the biggest casual games and an esport title in the country.

After PUBG Mobile was banned by the IT ministry of India as the game had user privacy concerns that ultimately threatened the national security according to the official press release. The ban was received with a variety of different responses from the community. While many players continued to play this game and even update to the latest version by using third-party sources, a big fraction has shifted to other big battle-royale and multiplayer mobile games in India.

Free Fire is a battle-royale game developed by Garenq and toughest competitor of PUBG Mobile with almost similar play style.

Leading the boards, Free Fire by Garena received a huge 2.1 million downloads in just four days, followed by Call of Duty: Mobile with 1.15 million downloads on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The numbers are between a span of four days from September 2 to September 5. Another Indian game Ludo King makes an appearance in this list, although being from an entirely different genre. Ludo King registered a total of 1.52 million downloads between the same time period.

Sharing no similarities with PUBG Mobile, this game still saw a huge surge in downloads after the ban.

The reports also point out that all the three games were in the top three in downloads section for Google Play Store but Call of Duty:Mobile ranks at top for the iOS users in Apple App Store. With a sudden news of ban, a large portion of players have evidently shifted to other titles and exploring other games as well.

Call of Duty: Mobile
Call of Duty:Mobile is the most famous game for iOS users in India after the PUBG Mobile Ban.

With various players, popular streamers like Scout, Mortal and many more have started to vary their content by introducing a large pool of new games for their audience. Scout is one of the players that has started to play Free Fire on-stream and being a big personality in Indian gaming circuit, instantly make big collaborations in the process. Scout will be streaming with Total Gaming, the biggest figurehead of Free Fire in India, on 9th September.
