It’s hard to find a football fan who isn’t familiar with the Italian giants AC Milan. After making their mark in Serie A, it appears like the club is looking to lay an impact on the esports world as they’ve entered in a partnership with Italian organization QLASH.
The team, which will be named ‘AC Milan QLASH’ after the merger, will initially be participating in the hit football video game series FIFA. They’ll also look to compete in the mobile game ‘Brawl Stars’ later this year.
We’re happy to announce this brand-new partnership with QLASH,” Casper Stylsvig, chief revenue officer of AC Milan, said in a statement. “This agreement is another important step in our Club’s modernization and innovation path.
AC Milan QLASH will be represented by Diego “Crazy” Campagnani, who finished the FIFA 20 season ranked #1 in the world for PlayStation, and Fabio “Denuzzo” Denuzzo, an Italian player competing on Xbox. The team will be seen participating in the eSerie A TIM 2020/2021 championship and the rest of the official FIFA21 competitions like the FIFA Global Series and FIFA Club World Cup.
“AC MILAN QLASH is a true, deep, and effective partnership,” said Luca Pagano, QLASH co-founder and CEO. “For sponsors that want to invest in the future, without neglecting the present or their traditions, together we will be able to offer the best of both worlds.”
Riot Games has finally shipped the Valorant patch 1.11 which was a tragedy in itself. The patch, initially deployed on October 27, was plagued with bugs and performance issues. The users faced FPS drops and stutters while some users reported being flooded with the texture of Sage while they walked through the Omen’s smoke. The patch was eventually rolled back later that day much to the despise of the players.
Patch 1.11 was buzzed primarily upon the inclusion of Skye – the thirteenth addition to the list of agents in Valorant and Icebox – new fifth map. The update included minor tweaks to Breach, Killjoy and Cypher. Besides several bug fixes, the update also added left-handed view model, changes to economic rewards at the round end, ‘play out all rounds’ feature in custom games and so forth.
Valorant Patch 1.11 Released
The heavily anticipated Valorant patch 1.11 changelogs have finally been revealed by Riot, and it includes several changes to the agents, competitive mode, and the economy system of the tactical shooter.
SKYE
The Australian agent finally makes her way to Valorant in patch 1.11. While she will be available to play in-game from today. Players won’t be able to use her in official esports competitions like First Strike before November 9th.
In case you missed it earlier, here’s a detailed description of Skye’s abilities:
REGROWTH – C
EQUIP a healing trinket. HOLD FIRE to channel, healing allies in range and line of sight. Can be reused until her healing pool is depleted. Skye cannot heal herself.
TRAILBLAZER – Q
EQUIP a Tasmanian tiger trinket. FIRE to send out and take control of the predator. While in control, FIRE to leap forward, exploding in a concussive blast and damaging directly hit enemies.
GUIDING LIGHT (3X) – E
EQUIP a hawk trinket. FIRE to send it forward. HOLD FIRE to guide the hawk in the direction of your crosshair. RE-USE while the hawk is in flight to transform it into a flash.
SEEKERS – X (ULTIMATE)
EQUIP a Seeker trinket. FIRE to send out three Seekers to track down the three closest enemies. If a Seeker reaches its target, it near sights them.
This combination of skills is certain to make Skye a favorite among Valorant fans due to the amount of utility she brings to the table. Judging by the descriptions, Skye can potentially be one of the best initiators in the entire game.

AGENT UPDATES
SKYE JOINS THE VALORANT ROSTER!
Skye will be available for use in official esports competition (e.g., First Strike) after two weeks in Competitive queue (November 9, barring any issues)
With First Strike on the horizon, the balance team has been hard at work making our last round of major balance changes before teams start duking it out. We want to ensure that the top teams don’t have to constantly adapt to a changing game while they’re playing in the tournament. Minor balance changes may occur during the span of First Strike, but we won’t deploy changes like the ones in this patch that heavily impact a team’s strategies.
One of the trends we have observed is that attacking teams can have a really hard time breaking entrenched defenders. Although every piece of the game can influence this type of trend (move speed, weapon tuning, map design, Agent balance), we think there are a few targeted character changes that can help give attackers more opportunities to break entrenched defenders. Each is listed below.
Max Grossman, Lead Character Designer
INITIATORS
Flash Tuning: The fade out of the flash debuff remains the same duration but now fades slower at the start
Initiators create concentrated windows of extremely high threat to help their teams break onto sites. To this end, we are slightly increasing the duration of debuffs from some Initiator abilities (mostly flashes). Our goal here is to increase the opportunity window that Initiator’s teammates have to capitalize on their utility and further differentiate Initiators from Duelists.
BREACH
Full flash time increased from 1.75 >>> 2
SENTINELS
Similar to some of the changes we made with Sage, we want to increase the depth of decision making when playing Sentinels while also providing enemies with more counterplay to “trap” abilities. To reduce the total potential impact of these abilities, autonomous traps are now disabled when the deployer dies (e.g., Cypher’s Trapwire disables when Cypher dies). We want to encourage Sentinel players to play more thoughtfully and carefully around their traps while increasing the reward for taking out the Sentinel player.
CYPHER
Trapwire Disabled and revealed upon death
Spy Camera Disabled and revealed upon death
KILLJOY
Killjoy is most effective when locking down a single site. Killjoy has to stay near her Turret and Alarmbot for them to remain active. Her global recon should be hit pretty hard here but we have slightly boosted her stalling power to counterbalance that nerf. All in all, we hope to keep Killjoy in a very similar place power wise but give her a stronger identity as the premiere on-site defender.
Deactivation RangeAlarmbot and Turret now deactivate if she is more than 40m away from them—reentering the 40m range reactivates her little friends.
TurretCooldown after pickup reduced from 20 seconds >>> 10 seconds
AlarmbotRange at which Alarmbot can be detected decreased from 9m >>> 7m Cooldown after pickup reduced from 20 seconds >>> 7 seconds
NanoswarmRange at which Nanoswarm can be detected decreased from 5m >>> 3.5mDamage increased from 40/s >>> 45/sDamage now ticks smoother and faster while in Nanoswarm, instead of in chunks of 10 every ¼ of a second
COMPETITIVE UPDATES
Icebox enters the Competitive map rotation
Icebox will be available for use in official esports competition (e.g., First Strike) after four weeks in Competitive queue (November 29, barring any issues)
Shorter Unrated queue times for the highest-rank players
We’ve taken steps to further solve issues for elite players experiencing long queue times for Unrated. We’re also further investigating improvements to reducing long queue times for all primary modes.
Added location of the current gamepod to the loading screen for all modes
Adjusted Combat Score to factor in non-damaging assists
GAME MODE UPDATES
“Play Out All Rounds” option now available in custom game lobby options,
Play Out All Rounds makes it easier to run practice sessions. When enabled the game will no longer end when a team reaches 13 wins; instead the match will continue until both teams have played a full half of 12 rounds on each side. After 24 rounds the team with more rounds will win. In the case of a tie the game will proceed to overtime (dependent on the Overtime option selected in the lobby screen).
GAMES SYSTEMS
Updates to Economy Ruleset
Attackers who lose but survive the entire round without planting the Spike receive a reduced number of credits (1,000)
Defenders who lose but survive the entire round after the Spike has detonated also receive reduced credits (1,000)
Dying to the Spike will no longer count as a death in KDA statistics
Additional economic information added as a tooltip when hovering over the exclamation mark next to “Min Next Round” in the shop
Context: These changes are intended to increase richness in decision making regarding when it is worthwhile to save your gear vs. go for the round win. Additionally, this will allow teams that can secure round wins to more effectively chip away at the economy of opponents that opt to save out expensive weapons on a round loss.
Other Changes
Minor improvements to observer flashed indicator
New setting for observers: ‘Show Player Keybinds on Map’
New Custom Game Option: ‘Play Out All Rounds’
Both teams play a full 12 rounds on both attacker & defender sides, followed by overtime/endgame (if applicable)
Left Hand Viewmodel Revealed In Valorant
Left-handed view model is now available for players. Players can swap their first person view-model to lefthanded by going to the settings menu and swapping their view model to “Left-Handed”. Changing this will also show all other players as left-handed when spectating.
You can now send a direct message by clicking a friend’s name in chat instead of having to type their name out
Players that have been AFK or alt-tabbed for more than 5 minutes will now appear as ‘Away’ in the Social Panel
Adjusted team colors to remain fixed for the full duration of a game for observers instead of having the Attacking side always appear as red, and the defending side always appear as green
[BETA] Experimental Sharpening
The experience of having teams switch colors at the half from a viewer perspective was a bit confusing, and also led to some difficulties for broadcasters to match their overlays to this behavior. This change will allow the viewers and tournament organizers to have a more consistent experience for the entirety of a game.
This graphics setting accidentally shipped with the last patch, and we were going to remove it, but your feedback asked us to keep it. So It stays, but with some more tuned defaults. We don’t know when we’ll get to optimizing its performance, or tune it further, so consider it an ongoing Beta.
BUG FIXES
Fixed one source of combat hitches we’ve seen from player reports
We’re continuing to investigate the combat hitches that players have been reporting in recent patches. This patch includes a fix for one of the most common hitches that we’ve seen during combat. While we hope that this will resolve the issue for many of you, we’re still actively tracking down a couple other hitches that we’ve seen from your clips.
Jett now can’t rope dash lel
Fixed a bug where incoming Party invites would remain active in the Social Panel after being declined
Players no longer see the spike location when reconnecting to a game
Fixed issue where player corpses could cause collision issues
Sage wall segments no longer breaks if a player dies on top of them
Fixed a bug that would disable queueing for any mode if a player closed the client during the Match Found countdown.
Fixed a bug that was displaying Act Rank badge on the MVP screen outside of Competitive Queue.
Popular Twitch streamer shroud hasn’t been afraid of showing criticism towards the games he plays, even if that game is one that he once had a professional career in.
A few weeks ago, shroud made a comment on the “dying” status of the competitive shooter by Valve. The comment came under fire by thousands of Counter-Strike fans who disagreed with his opinion.
On his November 1st Twitch stream, shroud clarified what he meant by his earlier comment when asked by some of his viewers on his thoughts about the current status of CSGO.
“Do you think CS is dying? No no no, I don’t think CS is dying, I think NA CS at a competitive level has died a little bit and that’s just fact,” the 26-year-old said.
“I don’t think CS is dying by no means, I think CS is very popular still, hundred percent it is,” shroud continued. “Maybe I misinterpreted what I said because it is very clear the NA CS is hurting. Might not be dead, but NA CS is definitely hurting, which makes me sad, we were doing so well.”
The North American Counter-Strike scene has indeed taken a huge hit following the coronavirus outbreak. With the LAN tournaments being temporarily paused worldwide, a lot of focus has been on the European scene lately. This has led some organizations to discontinue their CSGO rosters, which might have triggered the statement by shroud.
Down Detector is an independent website that tracks outages across the globe by monitoring social mentions around specific topics.
Connecting To CSGO Network – CSGO Servers Are Down
On November 2, CSGO players across the United States reported outages of the game servers. It’s still unclear what caused the outage, but it could be due to a number of reasons.
The first and a common cause of server outages is a new update. When a new update is shipped to the game, the servers can go down for a short while. However, in case of an update, the servers can be up quite quickly.
Another reason behind server outages may be a technical fault in Valve’s servers. This is very unlikely to happen but has happened on more than one occasion in the past.
In case you’re finding yourself unable to launch CSGO or join a game, you can check for yourself if CSGO servers are down.
There are a number of websites to check server statuses of popular games like CSGO or DOTA 2, and even the server status of Steam itself. One of the most reliable websites to check server issues is steamstat.us; it shows detailed stats on the statuses of game coordinators of Dota 2, Artifact, CSGO, TF 2 along with reports of server outages.
The patch 1.11 has added a number of new changes to Valorant, and it included some serious nerfs to Cypher and Killjoy.
It appears like the two agents might be taking another big hit in the next update, as Valorant Dev ‘rycou’ has stated on Twitter that Riot has added “temporary charges” for some reusable skills in the competitive shooter.
The implementation of temporary charges will prevent the abilities of Cypher, Killjoy, and Skye from being carried over to the next round, which means that players will have to be extra cautious while managing their economy with those agents.
The temporary charges will be applied to the following abilities:
Cypher: Trapwire
Killjoy: Alarmbot
Skye: Regrowth
Cypher’s camera and Killjoy’s turret can still be recalled and repositioned at will, but being signature abilities, they are automatically restocked at the start of the next round.
“I made a booboo and added this to the patch notes too late, missing the cut off for localization,” rycou said in a tweet. “I figured I’d want to share this so that there is no confusion when the 1.11 patch drops.”
I made a booboo and added this to the patch notes too late, missing the cut off for localization. I figured I'd want to share this so that there is no confusion when the 1.11 patch drops. Sorry everyone but if you have any questions feel free to reach out to us!
We have all probably dreamed of sitting across a PC 50 years later playing our favourite games and spending the last few years of our lives in pure bliss. There is a team who is doing exactly that, and they call themselves the “Silver Snipers.“
With the youngest member aged 62, the oldest player on the roster is 81 years young and the best part was that no one in the team had any previous experience of the game at the squad’s inception. The team from Sweden had been formed after an ad that called for senior citizens to join an esport team for a CS tournament at the Dreamhack digital festival in Sweden.
Coached by former CS pro Tommy “Potti” Ingemarsson, the snipers underwent 3 weeks of intensive training for the tournament. Do note, that they did not have ANY experience of playing video games, let alone that of a FPS shooter like Counter Strike, where it takes weeks just to get accustomed to the basic controls.
The training started with the basics of CS, the controls, settings and what actually was the aim of the game. The group took these sessions very seriously and even got printouts of the keyboard layout for them to memorize it faster. They were very serious about it, and even asked a range of questions to improve their game sense and their aiming.
The reason why they chose CS was because it was the easiest game to pick up among the ones with a steep learning curve like Overwatch or DOTA. They did not have a good showing at their first tournament, winning a single round in 2 matches against more experienced opponents, but that has not dampened their spirits. “It’s all fun to play for me and my teammates; winning is a bonus,” said Olivind “Windy” Toverund.
I would just say, GO FOR IT! You have nothing to be afraid of—the gaming community is not an excluding community.
Their hardwork did pay off in summer this year after they won the Seniors World Cup against Finland, USA and Germany at DreamHack Summer 2019, beating Grey Gunners in the finals. Windy has some encouraging words for the older gamers as well.

PUBG Mobile was banned in India on September 2nd. The game was banned by the IT ministry of India along with 117 other apps under the pretext of being “involved in activities against India’s sovereignty, defense and security of states and public order.” Even after the ban, the majority of players were still playing the game but after Tencent closed down their PUBG Mobile operations in the country, players are searching for a new home. These are our top five alternatives to PUBG Mobile till the game gets unbanned.
PUBG Mobile ALternatives To Play Before PUBG Mobile Unban:
1. CALL OF DUTY: MOBILE –
Call of Duty: Mobile was launched on 30th September last year and has been gaining the traction of Indian audience since then. COD Mobile’s core gameplay is similar to its PC and console counterparts and hence, it gives a touch of nostalgia to old-school COD players who can enjoy a portable version of this game on the go.
The game has multiplayer mode in which you can battle in a 5v5 team deathmatch and more such modes, on the iconic multiplayer maps from COD: Black Ops and COD: Modern Warfare or if you love the battle-royale survival from PUBG Mobile, there are two maps named Isolated and Alcatraz that can cater your needs.
From a competitive point of view, if you are looking for a new game to kickstart your mobile gaming career then Call of Duty: Mobile is your best choice as it has already launched its own COD Mobile World Championship with a huge prize pool of $1 million and the competitive scenario around this game is bound to rise in India. Currently, teams like Mayhem are competing on the largest level in the country and they are representing India on the global stage.
Fortnite is the biggest battle royale game in the world which shifted the focus of gaming world back in the days when it was launched. Fortnite has a huge player base and was very popular on streaming platforms like Twitch. It is available on PC and Console versions but recently launched into mobile version as well.
If you are ready to challenge yourself and push to the extreme limits, this game is made for you. It is very much similar to PUBG Mobile on the basic level of battle-royale playstyle but is so much unique at the same time. Fortnite allows you to break objects, collect material and create structures according to your preferences.
The game is hard to master on its own and in the mobile version, it gets harder due to limited screen space on your mobile. It is not one of those games where you will jump in and quickly master it. Also competitively, this game has no esports scene in India hence keep in mind that you will be investing your time for fun and nothing else.
The hardware specifications for this games are pretty high to get a smooth experience so the game is mostly recommended to people with flagship devices.
3. Free Fire
The next game on this list is probably the closest match to PUBG Mobile. Free-Fire is a very fast paced game with dynamics similar to PUBG. 49 players drop into a map for a quick match of 10 minutes. Although the graphics are toned down as compared to PUBG, this game has its own fan base.
Free-Fire is also a competitive game having its own esports scene already flourishing in India. The game is more famous in American region but India does not lack behind. Indian team already competed once on the global level for this title and more local tournaments are being set up, recent most being Free Fire India Championship 2020 which had ₹50,00,000 prize pool. The game will run smoothly in any device so you don’t have to worry about performance even if your device is getting older.
BattleLands Royale is a casual and fun game to play. It is not very complicated, has easy controls and is short and enjoyable for players looking for a very fast game style. 32 players battle out in a very fast paced manner and match ends in 3 to 5 minutes.
It has a quirky game style and this is a game you can just download and dive into it without mastering the controls or anything of that sort. The playstyle is similar to most battle royale games with slight twists. The cores of PUBG mobile like air drop supplies, cars and looting remains the same in this game too.
You can play solo or duo queues in a huge map where you have to loot, shoot and survive. The nature of this game is very casual and hence if you are looking for a fun alternative, do try out this game. This game is very low sized as compared to other games on the list.
5. SURVIVAL HEROES – MOBA BATTLE ROYALE:
This game is very unique as compared to other games. If you are one of the players who are disappointed because of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang getting banned and now PUBG Mobile being on the list, you are in for a treat.
Survival Heroes is a combination of MOBA and battle royale and its description is amusing to read as well, it says “In Survival Heroes, every player starts the same in the valley of heroes. Go pick up your first weapon and have a fair fight with others, explore the vast land of dangerous creatures and loots! Also, be wary of the bush and mist, because you will never know what’s in there.”
This amazing combination of a MOBA and battle royale game is pretty fun to play, it allows you to pick the location for dropping down and the game play is very unique itself. It has skills along with guns to play with, and hundreds of combinations to choose from. Pick the correct one and emerge victorious. This game specifically requires you to be on a strong network connection and have at least 2GB ram and android 4.0 to have a seamless experience.
This is the list of top five PUBG Mobile alternatives that closely match to the game and at the same time, differ in the core mechanics so that the user experience remains varied. These games provide the authentic battle-royale genre experience offered by PUBG Mobile but add an element of twist to it. Let us know if you like these games.
As his tweets have suggested on multiple occasions in the past, MrBeast is an avid fan of League of Legends, the popular MOBA by Riot Games. In fact, he’s looking to own a professional team for the title in the future, as he mentioned in a tweet a couple of days ago.
One of my goals in life is to own a league team one day
Yesterday, on his 24-hour merch-signing livestream, the YouTube star confirmed his plans for the upcoming ‘Beast Gaming’ team.
“Oh yeah, not even thinking, it’s happening,” MrBeast said when asked by a viewer whether he would proceed with his plans on forming a League of Legends team. “Just give me a little bit of time.”
However, it doesn’t seem like the team is about to arrive anytime soon, at least not until the next Summer Split. But it’s certainly happening at some point in the future.
“We have so much going on with this channel, the side channel, and all of the other companies…so definitely not this season or the Summer Split either,” the 22-year-old continued. “But we are definitely going to have a Beast Gaming League of Legends team—100 percent.”
MrBeast has also admittedly spent a lot of time watching the professional League of Legends games. “I spend so much time watching, so I was just like ‘I might as well be watching one of my teams,” he said.
MrBeast is currently one of the most popular YouTubers in the entire world with a subscriber count close to 46 million. He gained worldwide recognition in 2019 when he led a successful online campaign and raised a whopping $20 million to plant trees.
Call of Duty: Mobile has introduced a new seasonal event called as Roadkill. This event is specifically dedicated for all the battle-royale players and they have to complete a set of tasks. Some players are stuck at the “Open airdrops with a tank” mission in COD Mobile. This mission is very simple and you can complete it by following these steps.
RoadKill event information
RoadKill is the latest event added to Seasonal section of COD Mobile. This event is especially made for players who enjoy BR mode and there are many rewards that can be unlocked by completing missions step by step.
Special Ops 3 – Static Electricity set
The ultimate reward is Special Ops 3 – Static Electricity set with tons of Battle Pass XP. Players have to complete six missions the unlock these rewards and they are listed below:
Travel 300m with any vehicle
Run over and kill two enemies with vehicle
Open Airdrop with a tank 3 times in COD Mobile
Destroy a tank
Kill 10 enemies with a tank
Enter the top 10 in BR three times
How to open Airdrops with tank in COD Mobile
Among these missions, opening an airdrop with a tank may sound tricky for some players but there is a simple method to do so.
Drop to any location and get control of a tank.
Spot Airdrops and take your tank to that location.
Burst down the airdrop by pressing fire button while driving the tank.
Repeat the procedure three times to complete this mission. It is very simple to aim at the Airdrops but make sure to scout the area before making any moves as the enemies will target your tank, to complete the “destroy the tank” mission. This is simplest way to complete the mission and make sure to take help of your teammates and stick together to complete this mission very easily.
