MrBeast Confirms Beast Gaming League of Legends Team

YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has confirmed his plans to create his own League of Legends roster.

As his tweets have suggested on multiple occasions in the past, MrBeast is an avid fan of League of Legends, the popular MOBA by Riot Games. In fact, he’s looking to own a professional team for the title in the future, as he mentioned in a tweet a couple of days ago.

Yesterday, on his 24-hour merch-signing livestream, the YouTube star confirmed his plans for the upcoming ‘Beast Gaming’ team.

“Oh yeah, not even thinking, it’s happening,” MrBeast said when asked by a viewer whether he would proceed with his plans on forming a League of Legends team. “Just give me a little bit of time.”

However, it doesn’t seem like the team is about to arrive anytime soon, at least not until the next Summer Split. But it’s certainly happening at some point in the future.

“We have so much going on with this channel, the side channel, and all of the other companies…so definitely not this season or the Summer Split either,” the 22-year-old continued. “But we are definitely going to have a Beast Gaming League of Legends team—100 percent.”

MrBeast has also admittedly spent a lot of time watching the professional League of Legends games. “I spend so much time watching, so I was just like ‘I might as well be watching one of my teams,” he said.

MrBeast is currently one of the most popular YouTubers in the entire world with a subscriber count close to 46 million. He gained worldwide recognition in 2019 when he led a successful online campaign and raised a whopping $20 million to plant trees.
