Amidst of the COVID-19 situation across the globe, Esports Operations, especially in China, recently have suffered a huge setback as majority of the matches and tournaments had been called off after the outburst of Coronavirus did make things go haywire. If we look into the hierarchy of the Chinese Esports, Riot games’ League of Legends has a mammoth fan base and with no doubt, it has attracted a rich business center in China’s history of Esports with many high profile sponsors.

As the League of Legends Pro League has a huge fan base as mentioned above, hundreds of fans show up to cheer for their favorite teams. But we are still unsure about the participation of the live crowd in the studio being approved as most of the events across the globe are being conducted with empty arenas and studios. The very latest event which we might be aware of is the IEM Katowice 2020 event where the Polish government was unable to give ESL a nod for hosting the spectacular event at the Spodek Arena. As the League of Legends Pro League has a huge fan base as mentioned above, hundreds of fans show up to cheer for their favorite teams.
