Amidst of the COVID-19 Situation, North American Organization Team Liquid have initiated a complete shutdown of their facilities as they are looking to prioritize the health and safety of their staff and players while they are implementing a system which will observe the staff and players adhering to a mandatory work-from-home task list for almost a month.

Earlier today on their twitter, Team Liquid founders Victor Goossens and Steve Arhancet did tweet about this reported shutdown as they did share their concern about the outbreak and the matter of fact that they do respect everyone’s role to protect themselves and the community as well. They have also released a statement where they would engage their teams to play but only in the places with a controlled environment thus keeping everyone safe in the due course. Extra Safety measures will be thoroughly assessed, they added.

This decision from the organization is very much appreciated as they strive for better immunity, but very soon we might be able to witness a plethora of teams and their orgs following TL’s path by going in a Lockdown until a cure is found for the outbreak. However, the events and their schedules are somehow being arranged amidst of this chaos where Team Liquid would be looking to fight back in the ongoing LCS series where they stand with a current record of 6-8 on the leader boards.
