Two South Korean Teams Qualify for BMIC 2026: NS RedForce and Dplus KIA Confirmed for Mumbai

KRAFTON India has officially revealed the qualification system for the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2026, and the first two international teams are now confirmed. South Korean powerhouses NS RedForce and Dplus KIA have secured their spots after finishing as the top two teams in the Korean Esports League (KEL) 2026. The duo will travel to Mumbai later this year to compete in BMIC 2026, which is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 2 at the Dome, NSCI, Mumbai. With teams from India, South Korea, and Japan competing for a ₹1 crore prize pool, the tournament is shaping up to be one of the biggest BGMI events ever held in India.

NS RedForce Arrives as the Team to Beat in BMIC 2026

If there is one team that every Indian fan should keep an eye on, it is NS RedForce.

The Korean organization has been in sensational form throughout 2026. After winning the PUBG Mobile Macau Invitational 2026, NS RedForce continued its dominance by lifting the Korean Esports League 2026 trophy.

The team’s current roster features XZY, TIZI, DokC, HyunBin, and Soez. Two of those name, HyunBin and Soez, will be familiar to Indian fans. The duo joined NS RedForce from DRX earlier this year and were part of the squad that won BMIC 2025 in Delhi. HyunBin was also named the tournament’s MVP.

Their dominance in KEL 2026 was remarkable. NS RedForce finished with 213 points and four Chicken Dinners in 12 matches, ending the tournament with a massive 104-point lead over second-placed Dplus KIA. Such a winning margin is rarely seen at the highest level of PUBG Mobile esports.

With their current form, NS RedForce will be among the biggest favorites not only at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 but also at BMIC later this year.

Dplus KIA Returns to India

The second Korean team to qualify is Dplus KIA, one of the most successful PUBG Mobile organizations in the world.

Known for its consistent international performances and world championship pedigree, Dplus KIA has already enjoyed success in India. The organization won the India Korea Invitational 2023, a tournament widely regarded as the predecessor to BMIC.

Dplus KIA secured its BMIC 2026 spot by finishing second in the Korean Esports League. The roster includes Favian, Nolbu, Chpz, Cyxae, and Porico, combining experienced veterans with talented new additions.

Although NS RedForce has had the upper hand recently, Dplus KIA remains a dangerous opponent. With years of experience on the international stage, the Korean giants will undoubtedly be among the top contenders when BMIC begins in Mumbai.

South Korea’s remaining three slots will be awarded to the top teams from the PUBG Mobile Pro Series Korea.

Meanwhile, Japan’s five representatives will qualify through the PUBG Mobile Japan League Season 6 Phase 2.

India will send six teams, all of which will earn their places through the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026. Once the BMSD Grand Finals conclude on October 18, the six Indian teams representing the country at BMIC 2026 will be finalized.

BGMI International Cup 2026 Is Already Building Excitement

With NS RedForce and Dplus KIA already confirmed, BMIC 2026 is shaping up to be one of the strongest international BGMI tournaments hosted in India. The addition of top teams from South Korea and Japan means Indian organizations will face some of the best PUBG Mobile teams in Asia.
