KRAFTON India has unveiled the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2026 as one of the biggest highlights of its H2 2026 esports calendar. Following the conclusion of the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026, BMIC will bring together 16 elite BGMI teams from three countries for an international showdown in Mumbai. The tournament will feature six teams from India, five teams from South Korea, and five teams from Japan, all competing for a ₹1 crore prize pool. With international rivalries, regional champions, and some of Asia’s strongest BGMI teams under one roof, BMIC 2026 is set to become one of the biggest BGMI esports events ever held in India. BMIC 2026 Dates
The BGMI International Cup 2026 will take place from October 30 to November 1, 2026.
The tournament will conclude with a three-day offline Grand Finals, where the 16 qualified teams will compete for the championship title.
BMIC 2026 Venue
KRAFTON India has confirmed that the BMIC 2026 Grand Finals will be hosted at the Dome, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) Indoor Stadium, Mumbai.
The venue has previously hosted several major esports and entertainment events and will welcome fans for three days of international BGMI action.
BMIC 2026 Format
BMIC 2026 will feature 16 teams representing three countries.
The participating teams include:
- 6 teams from India
- 5 teams from South Korea
- 5 teams from Japan
These teams will battle across the Grand Finals to determine the champion of the second edition of the BGMI International Cup.
While KRAFTON India has confirmed the participating regions, the detailed match format and map rotation are expected to be announced closer to the tournament.

Why IC 2026 Is Special
Unlike domestic tournaments such as BGIS, BMPS, and BMSD, the BGMI International Cup brings together teams from multiple countries.
For the first time in H2 2026, Indian fans will get to watch their favorite teams take on top organizations from South Korea and Japan in an official KRAFTON India event. The tournament is expected to showcase regional rivalries and provide Indian teams with valuable international experience.
BMSD 2026 Comes Before International Cup
Before BMIC begins, KRAFTON India will host the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026, an invite-only domestic championship featuring 48 of India’s best BGMI teams.
BMSD will run from September 22 to October 18, with the LAN Grand Finals scheduled for October 16–18. While BMSD focuses on identifying India’s top-performing teams, BMIC will take the competition to the international stage by bringing together teams from India, South Korea, and Japan.
Together, the two tournaments form KRAFTON India’s esports roadmap for the second half of 2026.
