AC Milan Enters Esports, Partners Up With QLASH

Italian football club AC Milan has entered the world of esports by partnering up with the organization QLASH.

It’s hard to find a football fan who isn’t familiar with the Italian giants AC Milan. After making their mark in Serie A, it appears like the club is looking to lay an impact on the esports world as they’ve entered in a partnership with Italian organization QLASH.

The team, which will be named ‘AC Milan QLASH’ after the merger, will initially be participating in the hit football video game series FIFA. They’ll also look to compete in the mobile game ‘Brawl Stars’ later this year.

We’re happy to announce this brand-new partnership with QLASH,” Casper Stylsvig, chief revenue officer of AC Milan, said in a statement. “This agreement is another important step in our Club’s modernization and innovation path.

AC Milan QLASH will be represented by Diego “Crazy” Campagnani, who finished the FIFA 20 season ranked #1 in the world for PlayStation, and Fabio “Denuzzo” Denuzzo, an Italian player competing on Xbox. The team will be seen participating in the eSerie A TIM 2020/2021 championship and the rest of the official FIFA21 competitions like the FIFA Global Series and FIFA Club World Cup.

“AC MILAN QLASH is a true, deep, and effective partnership,” said Luca Pagano, QLASH co-founder and CEO. “For sponsors that want to invest in the future, without neglecting the present or their traditions, together we will be able to offer the best of both worlds.”
