Among Us New Update Patch Notes; details inside

It has been a few weeks since InnerSloth had announced a new map for Among Us, but no release date has been specified by the devs as of yet. However, fans may have something to look forward to once again, as the first looks on the upcoming map have been teased on the official Among Us blog by their new community director, Victoria.

Alongside teasing the new map, the devs have also shared their upcoming plans on the future murder-mystery title. The blog post also included some bug fixes and balance changes that have recently been shipped to the game.

Among Us Patch Notes For December 2020

New Map

As mentioned earlier by InnerSloth, the new map is set to be a Henry Stickmin themed map that can potentially be even “bigger than Polus.” For the unaware, Henry Stickmin is another insanely popular choose-your-own-adventure video game title published by InnerSloth.

Only a single portion of the map has been teased in the dev blog. It has also been tweeted out by the newly-created official Among Us twitter handle.

Changes and Bug fixes

The blog also talked about some recent changes made to the game in the last update. The changes consist of bug fixes and balance updates.

Mobile Ad Removal

InnerSloth has confirmed that they plan to temporarily remove ads for Among Us mobile in the next update. However, the ads are expected to return in 2021.

“There have been a lot of issues with inappropriate ads on mobile, so until 2021, they’ll be removed,” the devs said. “Everyone who paid to remove ads, don’t worry. We’re gonna re-add them and make sure you get something extra for paying. “

CSGO Update Logs for Today [Nov 24]

A new CSGO update was shipped to the game by Valve today on November 24th. Unfortunately, the update is close to 15 mbs and doesn’t include much other than some additional translations and localization updates.

The localization for the following languages have been updated: bulgarian, Danish, Italian, latam, Russian, norwegian, polish,swedish, Turkish, ukrainian, and vietnamese.

PUBG Mobile announce whopping $14 million prizepool in 2021 circuit reveal

As has become a tradition for the PUBG Mobile esports scene, James Yang took to the virtual stage before the initiation of the PUBG Mobile World Championship, the main event of the 2020 circuit, to reveal plans and more for 2021.

The highlight of the reveal was the announcement of a whopping 14 million prizepool for the 2021 circuit, which eclipses the 5 million pool that was dedicated to the PUBG Mobile esports scene in 2020.

Along with the prizepool, Yang enunciated the addition of seven PUBG Mobile Pro Leagues in each of Turkey, Arabia, North America, Western Europe, Latin America, Brazil and CIS.

PUBG Mobile Club Opens will also be held in United Kingdom, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mexico, France, UAE, Africa and more. These opens will be in addition to the ones already being held.

Yang also revealed the pathway the PUBG mobile esports scene will follow in 2021, with the events to happen in 4 quarters – PMPL in Q1, Q3 and PMCO in Q2, Q4 – with the PUBG mobile World Championship being the mega event and the grand finale of sorts to end the 2021 chapter.

Unlike the 2020 reveal, a breakdown of the prizepool is yet to announced. The Indian teams were well placed to feature at the PUBG mobile world championship before the ban and it will be interesting to see if they can repeat their 2020 first-half heroics in 2021, with the game set for a return to the Indian markets, albeit with a dedicated version.

Free Fire is set to release its new update to the OB25 version. This update is not out for now and the developers are updating the game on advanced servers first, before finally pushing the global update in the month of December. Free Fire players who are eager to try their hands on the latest version can register on the advanced servers.

Every new update brings some addition to the game and this time leaks suggest that a new character, a pet and a new gun are getting introduced in Free Fire. These additions are not officially revealed but Free Fire leaks are mostly accurate for every season. These are the things you can expect in the next update.

Character – Snowelle

The website for advanced servers of Free Fire OB25 update have indicated towards the release of a new character. The leaks further confirmed it and the character is named as “Snowelle” and will be added to the game in the next update.

Snowelle has a unique ability that is very different than the other characters that are used in-game. The character can cancel all active abilities of the enemies, rendering special powers like healing, attacking and converting EP to HP completely useless.

Pet – Baboon

A new pet is coming to the game. The leaked image suggest that the pet is designed to look like a Baboon and is called “Brabuíno”. The pet will have an active ability called Helping Hand. This ability will assist the main character in handling the utilities more efficiently.

The gel, smoke grenades, flashbangs and throw grenades can be thrown at much longer distances if players use the baboon as their pet.

Gun – Vector

A new submachine gun will be added to Free Fire with the new OB25 update. The gun will be reintroduced in the game in the next season. Being an SMG, it can only be used efficiently in close-quarter combats but a major drawback to this gun is that its magazine only loads 19 bullets per round, making ammo utilization a very important factor while handling a vector.

These are the leaks that can potentially come in Free Fire with the next update. The new character Snowelle will make the game trickier for players spamming characters like DJ Alok and Captain K to get a big advantage on their enemies. More additions can be seen when the update is fully released globally.

PUBG Mobile is coming back in India after a long wait of two months and with this come back, the company is launching its own localized version of the game known as PUBG Mobile India. The game is not officially launched till now and reports suggest that there might be delay in the launch of PUBG Mobile for iOS as compared to Android devices.

The launch date of this game is creating a lot of hype in the PUBG Mobile community and no confirmations regarding the timeline of the release is officially conveyed. Although the official announcement is awaited, the overall developments concerning the game are reaching new heights.

The website for PUBG Mobile India is back up and few users spotted some indexes on the website which showcased the images of a Download button and Play Store button of PUBG Mobile India. This hinted that the preparations are being made for the full-scale return of the game in India.

PUBG Corporation promised the return by setting up a dedicated office in the country and finally the company officially registered its Indian subsidiary under the title “PUBG India Private Limited”. This kickstarts the process of return of PUBG Mobile in India and the game is right around the corner but some issues might delay the launch date of this game by few days.

According to SportsKeeda, their sources have revealed that PUBG Mobile India might be initially available for Android devices and the release for iOS devices could be delayed by a few days. Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has revealed that his love for programming stemmed from playing video games.

The 49 year old business magnate, who just recently overtook Bill Gates to be the 2nd Richest individual, told that his love for technology and coding all stemmed from his passion of video games.

Video games are “incredibly engaging,” Musk said. “They made me want to learn how to program computers. I thought I could make my own games,” he said, as quoted by inc.com.

His love for video games began on a trip to the United States aged 10, and found a hotel with a lot of arcade games. That encouraged him to start coding, and at the tender age of 12 he sold his first PC game Blastar for $500.

Since then, he has gone from strength to strength, founding a yellow pages company called Zip 2, which he sold to Compaq for $307M and then founded the now famous Paypal as X.com

His entire journey from a curious kid who liked video games to the co founder of arguably one of the biggest companies begs the question of the less talked about positive impact of video games.

While this might come as a surprise to a lot of parents, video games are helpful in the development of cognitive and intellectual abilities of an individual and might actually go a long way in their overall personality development.

Professional Footballer and Swedish icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic has raised questions on the use of his name and face in popular EA Sports title FIFA.

The AC Milan star has revealed that he was never asked for permission for the same and that he is unaware how FIFPro, the professional body representing the professional players, can authenticate the use of his image rights without his prior approval and/or intimation.

Zlatan has also hinted at a potential investigation on the fact that EA Sports has been profiting on his image rights for all these years without going through the right legal process, according to him.

This is similar to a July 26, 2020 report from David Ornstein that iterated that experienced manager Russell Slade along with a team data lawyers and experts have initiated a legal action named Project Red Card. The project has over 400 players on board and aims at suing gaming, betting and data-processing firms for use of their performance data without permission over the last 6 years in a suit that could be worth millions.

23.11.2020 UPDATE: Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India have allowed and accepted the registration of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has approved the registration of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd., a privately held company under the registrar of companies. The incorporation happened two days ago, on 21st of November 2020. The authorized capital of the subsidiary is set to INR 15,00,000 with INR 5,00,000 as paid-up.

This falls in line with Krafton’s intent to expand into the Indian subcontinent as they announced just a few weeks ago. As TalkEsport reported, Microsoft partnered with KRAFTON in a bilateral terms of service. There were reports though of a potential authoritative hindrance on the journey of PUBG Mobile’s return to the country.

As the registrar of the companies features this news, it eloquently defines the resurgent arrival of PUBG Mobile in India. The authorized directors of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. are Kumar Krishnan Iyer – who is also a director at ACCUWEATHER India Pvt. Ltd., a renowned weather company – and Hyunil Sohn.

The approval of the name is limited to 60 days as per the Companies Act in India, which is further carried by regulating Forms 1, 8 and 32. This bit of information is necessary to know since these ordinary documentations define the drag pace of the corporates at Krafton.

As earlier affirmed by the organization, PUBG Corporation has officially registered its Indian subsidiary under the title “PUBG India Private Limited”.

The company is based out of the IT capital of India – Bengaluru, Karnataka. It was registered earlier this week on November 21, 2020 with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India as a subsidiary of a foreign company.

The directors of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. are Sean Sohn and Kumar Krishan Iyer. Sohn is the head of corporate development at PUBG Corp. (KRAFTON). On the other hand, Kumar is also the director of the Indian subsidiaries of Spotify India, AccuWeather India and Phazr.

Earlier this month, several users reported that the global version of the game was running successfully sans VPN. PUBG Corporation was also transferring data from PUBG Mobile to PUBG Mobile India servers as the users were greeted with “account data migration” message. With the registration of its subsidiary in India, it is palpable that the Indian version of PUBG Mobile will be trademarked and owned by PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. Also, all the everyday affairs and its employees in India will be employed under this new firm.
