GTA Online’s next big update will let players show off their rides in a safe and friendly environment without all the chaos from the griefers in the free-roam modes. Players can buy a Los Santos Tuners membership for $50,000 to get access to a special underground area and you can check out other members’ vehicles and test drive them on a specialized racing track. Becoming a member also grants you a new progression called Reputation and leveling up your Reputation by logging in daily and racing in the track gets you new customization items and perks.
The LS Tuners update also adds new underground races to the game such as Head-to-Head, Scramble, and Time Trials, each having their own set of rules while two new Street Race modes – Pursuit Series and Sprint are also added. But that isn’t all as this update brings 17 new vehicles to GTA Online with 10 vehicles dropping with the update while the rest will be added later.

FaZe Clan send Gambit Esports packing in a Best of three affair and advance onto the event’s Semi-final clash against yet another CIS team, Natus Vincere.

Gambit Esports started off on the right foot, securing a quick 4-0 lead after picking up their CT-side pistol with a successful A-site retake. In FaZe Clan’s first gun round, Timofey “interz” Yakushin and Abay “Hobbit” Khassenov further extended their team’s lead after converting yet another retake into a round win. The wrath of the Counter-Terrorists saw FaZe go down into a spiral as they managed to win just four rounds in their first half.
After getting their economy back on track, FaZe held off their opponents four rounds in a row, bringing the deficit to 8-11. The European mixture then looked to be in prime position to break Gambit’s economy after a combined effort from Håvard “rain” Nygaard and Olof “olofmeister” locked the CIS tacticians out of the B-site who rushed in an attempt to plant the C4 in the 24th round. The momentum was further flamed by Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken who was able to keep Gambit at bay in the aftermath of a triple kill A site anchor. With Hobbit and his men looking destitute and listless, FaZe Clan successfully pulled off the rout and won their map pick by the scoreline of 16-13.
Starting out on the defense, FaZe Clan were on the back foot from the get-go and struggled to find a way through the water-tight Gambit assault for a large portion of the first half as the CIS men rallied to a comfortable lead of 7-2. A combined effort from Olofmeister and Twistzz in the 10th round saw FaZe claw back into the first half, eventually winding up the same with the scoreline of 7-8 on the board.
Coming from the break, it was until the 20th round that both sides traded rounds back and forth but in the end, Gambit Esports raced over to a comfortable lead of 15-10 over Karrigan and his men thanks to a complete B-site shutdown by Timofey “interz” Yakushin who notched up 3 kills with his M4.
With the fuel still left in their tank, FaZe Clan were successful in forcing a double-overtime over the CIS side in an aftermath of Helvijs “broky” Saukants’ heroics with his AWP and some classic game reads from Finn “karrigan” Andersen, FaZe’s, In-game leader.
Gambit Esports however managed to secure their map pick as they managed to lock FaZe Clan out of the B-site in the 24th round of Overpass.

It all came down to the Decider where Gambit went on to get that 4-0 lead including the gun round. FaZe Clan quickly recovered from the trail as Karrigan opened up B-site for business and steered his side to their first-round win. It was indeed an invite to the looming disaster over Gambit Esports as the European mixture soon bagged 9 rounds in their favor, ending the first half with a lead of 3 rounds over Hobbit and his troops.
As mentioned above, the looming disaster upon the CIS side soon came to life as Gambit were being locked out from every bomb site, they tried to secure. Karrigan’s aggression over the B-site on his team’s defense completely fortified Gambit out, eventually halting the offensive guys and their plans. With less room for error, it was Olofmeister who successfully anchored the A site as his teammates converted the retake into a series win.
FaZe will now lock horns against Natus Vincere in the Semi-final of IEM Cologne, to be played on July 17 at 19:45 CET.
Gambit, the world’s best CS:GO team has now been knocked out of this year’s largest event so far, IEM Cologne 2021. FaZe beat Gambit in convincing fashion on Ancient 16-13, 22-20 on Overpass, and 16-9 on the final map Inferno.
It comes as a shocker for the community as Gambit is the top team in the world at the moment, ahead of Natus Vincere, G2, Heroic, and NiP, according to HLTV rankings.
The first leg of the quarter-finals saw Astralis beating Virtus.pro 2-1 and advancing to the semi-finals to face G2 Esports.
FaZe versus Gambit Esports started on a rather expected model for the favorites as Ancient ended with the first half 11-4. But the fascinating display of skills by Twistz and Olof, lead the team into winning the game 16-13.

Esports XO, an esports tournament management company, is set to acquire the entire Valorant roster of Samurai Esports. Sources close to TalkEsport have revealed that this transfer will include the entirety of Samurai Esports, including the content creators and management team.
According to our sources, the contract signing will take place by the end of July and then, the roster will be transferred to Esports XO within a month. The current Samurai Esports is expected to play under the banner of Esports XO by August end.
Samurai Esports is a new Indian esports organization with a stacked Valorant roster. This Mumbai-based organization made a name for itself in the professional Valorant circuit by creating a strong lineup featuring ex-CS:GO pros like Simar ‘Psy’ Sethi and Karan ‘Excali’ Mhaswadkar.
The Valorant division of Samurai Esports has been dominating in the current Valorant circuit. This roster is well-known for fighting against the best teams like Velocity Gaming and Global Esports on equal terms.
This acquisition will also include the entire line of content creators and staff allied with Samurai Esports. The organization has a large number of content creators like Mizo and Kaashvi under their wing and they will be representing Esports XO once the transfer is completed.
TalkEsport has reached out to Samurai Esports and EsportsXO for comments but couldn’t get a response.

The best-of-three series served the delicious dishes to the CS:GO fans as Virtus pro’s resistance in the second map stretched the game to multiple overtimes post regulations.
The four-time major champions defeat the Russians in a breathtaking 3 map series to set up a semi-final date with G2 esports on Saturday.
In the first LAN back after almost 500 days, the Danes rise through the turmoil that was 2021, to show the world they weren’t done just yet.
Despite losing star AWper Nicolai ‘device’ Reedtz, they did not look fazed against VP, managing a close win on Overpass, losing a nail-biter on Dust2 before finally annihilating the CIS team on Inferno.

The veto was a standard one with both teams going for their perma bans, Nuke and Mirage respectively. VP picked into overpass, not going for any shock picks in the form of Ancient or Vertigo.
Astralis chose to play on Dust2, a map that has been their favorite with the current iteration of the roster. The series was to be decided on a map that is home to arguably every great series ever played in Counter-Strike, Inferno.

The Danish side got off to a great start, stringing together a flurry of rounds on the CT side of their opponent’s map pick as they led 6:0 at one point. The half ended with a score of 10:5. VP managing 5 at the end of the half was respectable for a map like Overpass, as Astralis moved to the t side. The newest addition Lucas ‘Bubzkji’ Andersen continued his tear into the second half, starting off with an ace in the pistol round.

Astralis’ map pick was a rather closely-knit affair, as VP chose to start on the T side and traded rounds back and forth throughout the half as no team seemed the clear favorite just yet.
Astralis ended the half with 9 rounds to VP’s 6 as they moved to the T side. On a playground for AWPers, Dzhami ‘Jame’ Ali really showed what the Danes lacked, a competent AWPer, as he wreaked havoc on the CT side, racking up 6 without reply to put his team in the lead.
It’s said Big players step up when they’re needed the most, and that is exactly what Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth did, putting the team on his back to power them to their own streak of 5 rounds.
But it wasn’t meant to be as Mareks ‘YEKINDAR’ Gaļinskis powered them into overtime and eventually into a third map as he shut down the B bombsite on the defence, to lock Astralis out of there. ‘Xyp9x’ stood out with an incredible 40 frags, but they still fell short as they moved to Inferno.

The mother of all deciding maps, Inferno, stood between the two teams and a semi-final spot at IEM Cologne and the pressure was mounting. And under pressure is where the best of the best really thrives.
Astralis put up a solid defense, always keeping the economy under control and dictating the play, allowing VP only an odd round here and there as they established a streak of their own to end the half in the driver’s seat at 9:6, this time thanks to Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif. A great pistol round resulted in ANOTHER string of rounds from the Danish side, coupled with the tactical genius of ‘gla1ve’, and the clutch minister’s solid fragging power, Astralis closed the map out, 16:8.

Astralis face G2 esports in the semi-final, to battle it out for a spot in the final and $400,000 of the prize pool. Virtus pro bows out in 5-6th place to take home $40,000 as they think over things during the player break.

PGL’s CSGO Major 2021 in Stockholm this year is in troubled waters. Swedish authorities’ stance of not recognizing esports as a sports event is creating a rift once again. The Mayor of Stockholm, in a letter to Government, has raised concerns about “repeating the same mistake,” referring to the cancellation of DotA 2 The International 2021.
Stockholm’s Finance Minister Anna König Jerlmyr wrote to both, Interior Mikael Damberg and Minister of Sports Amanda Lind that the Government is about the make the same mistake of cancelling a mega esports event powered by Valve.
SportExpressen received the full letter (translated from Swedish) in which excerpts suggest, “The government is about to repeat the same mistake it made a few weeks ago when the world’s largest e-sports tournament, The International, was moved from Stockholm. Now, unfortunately, history seems to be repeating itself for CS: GO Major”
Furthermore, the Finance Minister talked about how the government staff were mostly unaware of DotA 2 & CS:GO events being at this scale.
The escalation of doubts began a few weeks ago when DotA 2 – The International 2021 was shunted out of Sweden by the authorities. The CS:GO Major though, was reaffirmed by Valve, to be hosted in the city of Stockholm, until recently this story was reported.

Even if the CS:GO PGL Major 2021 gets moved out of Sweden, it won’t come as a shocker, as Swedish authorities did reject special treatment to another esports large scale event DotA 2 – The International.

“The government is about to repeat the same mistake it made a few weeks ago when the world’s largest e-sports tournament, The International, moved from Stockholm. Now, unfortunately, the story looks like that repeat for CS: GO Major, when the government does not this time either can provide information that ensures the implementation of the tournament.
The Swedish E-sports Association is not part of the Swedish Sports Confederation and recently, the Swedish Sports Confederation rejected their application to become one special sports. If the E-sports association had become a part of The Swedish Sports Confederation had not had the problems, because the border police go on the Swedish Sports Confederation’s definition of elite sports.
At the same time, the government concerning The International was unable to act whereupon the tournament was moved to Bucharest. The problem was that entry for the competitors could not be guaranteed.
That the organizers choose Sweden and Stockholm is an opportunity for thousands of visitors to see their heroes from around the world live here in our capital. A positive side effect of this is all the hotel nights, restaurant visits and our rich cultural life that not only enriches visitors but also the industries hard hit by it ongoing pandemic.
I have the greatest respect for the pandemic. But the infection situation now sees everything better out and just a few days ago, on July 12, informed the Minister of Trade and Industry and the city epidemiologist on the next step in the abolition of restrictions.
